Reports for JDeveloper extension?

Greetings,

I was programming with c# .net for a long time and I've been using Crystal Reports for

make sales receipts. I was wondering if there is such an extension for JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.0 or

something similar to avoid making a customization to receipts page.

People use a variety of tools of reporting with the ADF applications.

For example, the open source Jasper reports.

You can probably call Crystal reports from an ADF application.

    There are two options-

    1 help--> check the JDev updates
    2. download link directly below and install manually (Oracle SOA Composite Editor-download the same version update your JDev)-

  • How to access a project using JDeveloper Extension libraries

    Hello

    I am working on a class for JDeveloper Extension loader. My scenario is:

    1. I created a new java using JDeveloper Extension file.
    2 based on setup of libraries in the project properties, COMPILE this new java file and load the current ContextClassLoader.
    3. use the class responsible for doing something else (generate a new artifact).

    Step 3 is unlikely to change, so what I have to do is to compile the new java file and load it into the ClassLoader. However, I can not get the list of libraries in the context of the project dependencies. When I look in the JDeveloper extension API, I found this example:

    Import oracle.jdeveloper.model.JProjectLibraries;
    Import oracle.jdeveloper.library.JDK;
    Import oracle.jdeveloper.library.JLibrary;

    Connect the adapter.
    JProjectLibraries projLibs = JProjectLibraries.getInstance (project);

    Download the project JDK.
    JDK jdk = projLibs.getJDK ();

    Get an array of libraries referenced by this project.
    Library [libs = projLibs.getLibraries ();

    However, I can not find oracle.jdeveloper.model.JProjectLibraries under JDevelop 11.1.2.0.0 (11 GR 2). The document is 11 GR 1 material. I don't know if this one is obsolete, or is it anyway to get the list of library to a project.

    I tried the following:

    JdevClassLocatorFactory jdevClassLocator = new JdevClassLocatorFactory();
    ProjectClassLocator projClassLocator = (ProjectClassLocator) jdevClassLocator.getProjectLocator (app, currentProject);
    projClassLocator.getLibrariesFor (currentProject);

    However, getLibrariesFor (Project) is a protected method, non-public method. Is there anyway that I can compile and load the java file newly created programmatically?

    Best regards

    Harry

    Harry,

    For the execution of a project class path, use oracle.jdeveloper.model.PathsConfiguration.getInstance (project) .getRunClassPath () which includes required to carry pots and .class files.

  • JDeveloper extensions for 11.1.2.4.0?

    Greetings,

    I use Jdeveloper v11.1.2.4.0 for awhile now and I noticed that Jdeveloper extensions are always not to update to this latest version.

    I am trying to install extensions of SOA and BPM. Is there at least the beta or any news for when they go out? been almost 2 (if not more) months now

    Since the release of this version... BTW Jdeveloper shows me the extension of soa in the jdeveloper Update Center, but the version is not supported for this version of jdeveloper. Please fix this

    The center of update/upgrade.

    Hello.

    JDeveloper 11 GR 2 (11.1.2.x) is an ADF version only. We do not provide stack complete middleware for this version, which explains why extensions are not available and will never be. To use WebCenter, SOA Suite and other Fusion Middleware technologies, your only option is JDeveloper 11 GR 1 (11.1.1.x) matter for the moment.

    Moreover, JDeveloper 12.1.2 12 c is in the same situation as GR 11, 2. Support for the complete stack will come in a future version of the series 12.1.x. And before ask you: no, I can't (unfortunately) provide details on the calendar for this version.

  • Extension for JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 portal

    Hello

    I'm new in JDeveloper and JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 version.
    I want to create the portal using JDeveloper. So I have to get my JDeveloper Extension portal.
    Is there support for the extension of the portal on this version of JDeveloper?
    How can I get this plugin for my JDeveloper and configure this extension on my JDeveloper?

    Thanks in advance.

    Murat

    If you create a new portal, using webcenter, not oracle portal because it is expected that oracle portal cannot be supported in 2014 or 2015. It is possible that portal oracle 11g will be the latest version. WebCenter is the future so if you start from scratch, webcenter is the best choice.

    You can create an environment of rich portal with webcenter. You need to develop depends on the requirements. Subsequently webcenter is ready to use collaborative portal named webcenter spaces. With webcenter spaces, you can create pages of pages when running, add portlets, customizations, personalization and so on. With webcenter spaces, you can also integrate many services. For example, the following webcenter ships with a license limited to the Complutense University of MADRID. UCM can be used to manage documents. Since your webcenter application or webcenter spaces you can download, remove, manage,... documents of the Complutense University of MADRID.

    With webcenter in JDeveloper extensions, you are able to build webcenter applications. These applications can act as a portal. This means that you can create your own application with the possibility to create pages when running and allow the user to customize their pages as well.

    If you can wait a few months (early 2011) until the new version of webcenter will appear, then it is much easier to create custom portals.

  • How to use Crystal Report in JDeveloper

    Hi all

    I am a fresher JDeveloper. To date, I want to use Crystal Report 2008 in JDeveloper.

    Thank you for supporting for me: how to put in place, config Crystal Report for use with JDeveloper.

    share your demo for me if you have.

    Thank you!

    After installing Crystal Reports, you will get the Crystal Reports Designer.

    To generate and view the jsf page report, you'll need to include libraries for running reports crystal and then report to the servlet.

    There are also component Crystal Reports Viewer JSF then maybe you can integrate this component instead of custom java servlet.

    @Timo

    This blog you mentioned earlier is on jasper reports and not crystal reports

  • JDeveloper Extension Project does not have a class of jar - java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

    I created a JDeveloper extension project, I need to see some external pots according to my condition. I added the jar to the project and I'm not facing problems at compile time. But when I run my extension, I get the following error:

    class java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: < subject >

    .

    .

    Caused by: oracle.classloader.util.AnnotatedClassNotFoundException

    I tried the following options:

    1 added the pots to the project

    2. Add the jars as library

    3 referenced by MANIFEST pots. MF file

    But none of the above worked for me. The pots are getting delivered with my ExtensionProject.jar, but even when I add the extension for JDeveloper, it does not work.

    I am using JDev version 11.1.1.6

    Finally, this solved!

    The pots should be added as dependencies in the expansion project extension.xml file.

  • Where are the Oracle BI EE Jdeveloper Extensions?

    In the oracle documentation OBIEE found here , he stated:

    Use this procedure to install the necessary extensions.

  • JDeveloper Extension - monitor of Subversion

    Hello

    Could you please consider download this extension to partners and the Extensions of JDeveloper Open Source?

    Monitor of subversion, is a JDeveloper Extension, which will periodically monitor a Subversion repository and inform the user when a new revision is made. The user can then review the changes. For more information, see the corresponding post: [Subversion monitor, Extension to monitor a Subversion repository | http://jdeveloperfaq.blogspot.com/2010/05/extension-intermission-1-subversion.html]
