  I feel silly even curious about it, but I was contacted via Skype yesterday on ATM Compensation for being a victim "scammed" and that I am to receive $150,000 USD.

  This is the message that they sent by e-mail, as well:

You are now be compensated by Microsoft that has to pay the US $150,000.00 419 scam victims each, which are listed and approved for this payment as one of the scammed victims.   Of course, I don't think that this is real, but please advise. And everyone aware of the potential attack scam.

  I'm trying to connect to Skype by using our business e-mail address that uses Windows Live Custom Domain service. After be identified using the link "Sign in with a Microsoft account", the usual "create an account or connect" appears, but two options ("I have a Skype account" and "I am new to Skype") leads to the following error after clicking 'Join Skype': 'there is a problem of signing with Microsoft account. Please try again or connect with Skype details rather than this'. I tried with the two Skype Desktop and on the Web.

  Well, I managed to make it work by creating a new Skype account with the same email as my Microsoft Account address.

  I have recently joined Skype and have tried to use my camcorder as a webcam without a bit of luck.

  You probably Evaer Skype recorder installed. This application puts a bad version of the module d3d9.dll in the Skype application folder.

  Uninstall Evaer. If it still won't solve the problem, remove the defective d3d9.dll file in this folder:

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Skype\Phone\d3d9.dll

  I tried to delete Skype from my computer completely, but the problem persists. I also tried running an earlier version, which worked, but I wasn't getting any messages from the group for a while, and when I did, my text messages were however not passed.

  I searched and found a program called VCamFix. I used it and it has adjusted the four video signals Dxtory and my Skype now works perfectly again.

• Does not let me join group teleconference or add people to my call

  First of all im Windows Skype version 7.10.0.101 10 and im =)
  
  OK, so I use Skype to chat with friends on PC and Xbox one, normally I start a call, click the small + symbol and then add people want or go to their profile and click on add to call.
  
  Now, every time I do that it evokes just their profile picture all grayed out as they joined the call and left, they get also signs a call has been made (usually it connects it under recent) and whenever someone calls me and then try first to add someone else, the call ends immediately for me.
  
  IIF, they make the call before hand and then try to add me I just get a strange group 'empty' which remains just in my Skype up until I have leave, don't call or even show the images. happened when I updated to Skype to the more recent it seems! any help would be apreciated

  On my end to friends, it makes the end call noise and flashing my name + picture for a brief second and he said something I 'impossible to add until I accept your request' even if they are already on my list of contacts (tried with several friends)

  (it allows me to call one person at a time, the problem seems to occur only when several people are involved}

  

  The reason because this is the new version of Skype is not compatatible with older versions in the Group call section. Bullcrap if you ask me. You and I are in the same boat. And we have to wait for our friends to update.

  So I want to get a new Skype account with the user name "-", but whenever I click on the button "Registration" on the homepage it redirects me to join through live.com, which will make my username have the "live: ' tag inside.

  I only noticed it once that I registered with a Skype account that is now "live:-" and I don't want that. I wish to have the user name - without any direct: tag inside. Does anyone know the former registration link? Or how to register without getting the direct tag at the beginning of your name?

  I have a problem when I get a call from the group. It shows the green phone but when I want to join nothing happens. The Green disappears phone and the come back with the same thing happens. He then told that I need to update. Can I update but it will not join and says no internet connection. I then close Skype and join again without problem, but again I can not join a group call, and he wants me to update again. I can start a group call, but cannot join them. • Skype disconnects all calls I'm busy

  I had a nr of Skype and Skype for windows. At the time where someone called my nr Skype or normal Skype it never of me connect without rings and I had a missed call. They just may not join as Skype thinks I'm busy.

  Happens late in the day after my computer has been awhile (new computers pentium I7 16 GB ram) this is true boring as Skype restart doesn't seem to work.

  This is a known bug in the latest version of Skype 7.0. Uninstall this version and install the 6.21.0.104 previous version:
