joins using less fun

Hello

With the help of obiee 11g, Wated to know if its possible to do something like this in the RPD.
I have 2 tables corresponding to the key of the column name and not one ID.

So I thought instead of maintenance of the
TableA.NAMEA = TableB.nameb in the PL

I would like to
Lower (TableA.NAMEA) = Lower (TableB.nameb).
In Pl when I do its not allowing.

Thank you

UH... Apologies, it was for 10g.

11g, once opened the window of the Manager to join by selecting the 2 physical tables then Goto Actions tab - > new join or select only icon that you can see for the join. Now when you use this, you can use the string functions once you open the fx. Select 'functions' of the category and the "string functions" functions.

The operator will change to "Complex" or a cache here instead of '='.

Just did this to... just use track to replicate to the RPD.
Superior ("09 - system DB (ORCL)" "." ") ""' Catalogue'."" """dbo"."" "" "S_ETL_DAY '." " MONTH_NAME") = Upper (" 09 - system DB (ORCL) "". "") ""' Catalogue'."" """dbo"."" "" "S_NQ_ACCT '." " IMPERSONATOR_USER_NAME')

I hope this helps...

    The two examples above use the old syntax outer join of Oracle. (I guess there should be a sign inside the parentheses, e.g.. +)

    ...  WHERE E.DEPTNO = D.DEPTNO (+)

    )

    The LEFT OUTER JOIN and RIGHT OUTER JOIN terms apply only to the ANSI join syntax, e. g.

    .

    .. FROM EMP E

    DEPT LEFT OUTER JOIN D ON E.DEPTNO = D.DEPTNO

    As Blushadow said above, there's no real point in having LEFT OUTER JOIN and RIGHT OUTER JOIN;  What you can do with one (or a combination of both) can be done with the other.  Most people use LEFT OUTER JOIN systematically and never use RIGHT OUTER JOIN.

    There are situations where using a combination of the two would mean a little less striking, but only a little less and this kind of situation is very common, and one may wonder if the somewhat shorter code is more specific.  I suggest that forget you RIGHT OUTER JOIN.

  • Hanging Time Capsule with cable will use less data?

    I have an airport Time Capsule 2 TB I use as a wireless router with my internet go beyond satellite service. I blow through my allocation of wireless data and I was wondering if it hang on my Time capsule to my Mac using a dsl cable would use less data?

    First the cable would be ethernet.

    Second, I assume that you are concerned about your Time Machine backup... but they are local network and that you do not use your allowance of the internet... so plug the TC by ethernet will not change the use of the internet... It is only if you have something that is initially high downloads... This can happen sometimes... but apple built in no mechanism to track usage... Indeed, they have removed completely since the last TC SNMP functionality and AE... in the view of many here... an indication that Apple believes that everyone has speed unlimited and unlimited broadband internet bandwidth and did not much care if you don't.

  • which uses less ink, best quick scratch paper or photo paper.

    Which uses less ink, best quick scratch paper or photo paper.  I don't mean quality, a little less of ink used.  I also used photo paper, then selected the fast project of plain paper.  Not great quality, as expected, but always looking to use less ink.  My guess is that the paper uses more because it is more porous. My printer is a hp Deskjet 2050.  My OS is 64-bit Intel Core I-7-2670 QM.

    Thanks for any help

    emt1d

    Plain paper settings use less ink, inkjet paper selection will use more and photo paper will use the most.  Draft mode uses generally about half Normal or best mode ink.  Normal and best modes use about the same amount of ink (although best mode takes more time to print and passes).

    There are a few other considerations to minimize consumption of ink:

    • Don't run don't not cleaning cycles from the Toolbox unless needed (rarely).  Beyond the normal start and stop of ink cleaning cycles use cycles and shortens the life of supply and the printer.
    • Always keep the printer plugged in to an outlet.  Using an external symbol tilt like a switch taken or master switch will cause the printer to use more ink at startup.  It can also leave the printheads to be left not clipped, allowing them to dry out.

  • Glossy paper or cardstock - which uses less ink?

    Hello

    Print a large number of postcards. So far I've been using cardboard, but I think on the use of glossy paper. Anyone know what paper uses less ink?

    Thank you.

    Uncoated cardboard usually prints with plain paper settings and would use less ink than the glossy photo paper.  Sorry I don't have the details, but I would not be surprised if there was a difference of 2 x in the use of ink.

    Good idea!
    UNMIS is not the best tool for this task. The saved query gets the exam_cd and the Candide you want, but you can't find the record_seq because there of nothing like record_seq in table1.

    You can do this way:

    SELECT     *
    FROM     table2     m
    WHERE     NOT EXISTS (
                        SELECT  1
                    FROM    table1
                    WHERE   m.candid      = candid
                    AND     m.exam_cd  IN ( exam_cd1
                                             , exam_cd2
                                 , exam_cd3
                                 )
                 )
    ;

    I guess you could use LESS, like this

    SELECT     *
    FROM     table2
    WHERE     (exam_cd, candid)
         IN (
                SELECT ... -- The MINUS query you posted goes here
            )
    ;

    but it is unecessarily complicated.

  • Help to use less before for a stamp in Illustrator format?

    Hi all!

    My name is Jose and I am a student currently specializes in the Illustration. The class I'm taking this quarter was a part of the course centred around Illustrator, and it is essential and our plan this time is to create a stamp.

    I tried to create a cutting edge by using the plan less first tool, in the Pathinder window, in order to cut small circles on the edge of a rectangle, which gives it that punctured, stamp-edge look at his side. Unfortunately, whenever I try to use the option less before them to cut away from the rectangle, I end up doing all the circles disappear, except the one that was selected originally, and I simply can't achieve at least before how I'm looking.

    I have, with my circles stretched and correctly spaced, looks like this:

    Screenshot_of_workspace2.png

    So I take the regular selection tool, hold down SHIFT and select all, be very careful, do not click on the rectangle itself:

    Screenshot_of_workspace3.png

    And select the option less before, only to end up with:

    Screenshot_of_workspace4.png

    I'm an absolute newbie to Illustrator, so I'm probably making a simple mistake and don't know. I really want this project to look its best, so if someone could please fix my horrible, probably rookie mistake, I, really, really appreciate it.

    Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you have a wonderful day.

    Note: Unfortunately, this is the method of Professor made his demonstration to help and is required for the project. ):

    Select all points... Choose object > compound path > make...

    Now select all (including the rectangle) and use less first plan.

  • Design tips that uses less ink to paper thin?

    Hi guys, I'm designing something that must be printed inkjet on paper 50 # 24 x 26 inches. I tested about 30 newspaper # using a HP deskjet printer and worked find in DRAFT mode. However, for the production we use a Designjet z2100. Even the completely quality slider to the left, it is still too much ink.

    How would we go the printer using less ink speech?

    Adjust the opacity? or?

    Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    You're going to need profile and calibrate limit "of ink" of your RIP.  If your RIP doesn't have a profile for this substrate, you get one or the do it yourself (xRite colorimeter and something like "Proof" application-Monaco.  You may be able to obtain a profile of the paper manufacturer.

  • How to make Vista use less RAM?

    OK, here's the deal... I got this computer from October 17, 2008. RAM is juicy until the past few days. I started noticing almost ALL the time my OS uses a total of 75 to 86% of RAM. It does not reflect the performance.

    Also, the Windows Task Manager says I on 65 running processes. I show processes from all users, and I can't just equal up to 800 megabytes.

    My computer has 1 gigabyte but reads 980Mb. So my question, how is using up to 86% during normal operations, while I'm only about calculate 56% use?

    OK, gotcha now. Looks like that you see right SuperFetch works like it's supposed to... "SuperFetch is trying its best to use as much RAM as possible, because if you have it you could thus make use." ;-) William Keener | Blog

    Oracle Version: 11g

    I was wondering if it is possible to insert data in a table based on the operator 'less' Please?

    We have a very large table in a database, we moved to a different database. The table is cleared by a line for a certain range of dates, and we wondered if it is possible to insert this line of data in the remote database using the difference of rank between the two tables.

    Here's the query that we are running:

    Hello
    I have 2 tables with structures like below

    Table:-Machine
    (machinename char (5),
    MachineId char (6),
    date StartTime,
    end date,
    quantity)

    Table:-stop

    MachineId char (6),
    date of shutdowntime,
    shutdownmins char (5)

    What I want to do, is change machine starting and endtimes table according to the table to stop stops.

    Basically I will be leading table having structures like the machine table with just the difference in time of start and end according to the cases.
    Means that I will have a query select selection of fields that from the machine table table stop but will only be used for the calculations of time change.

    I am little confused here what join to use or have any other way to solve this problem.
    I need select only query response.

    Experts help me!

    Thank you

    Well, which makes no sense.
    The only way that you can use "shutdown" calculation is to choose in this one.

    That's what Salomon showing you; How to select the data that you need it and do the math.

    That your date picker object has its own format mask? It would be in the 'Settings' section for this element.

    You can have a cool log-in to pick up this change, I'm not sure that casual.
