  • I've used TrueCrypt for 2010 when it was installed on my computer by our office technology. I used it with no problems until the last update I installed on Tuesday evening. Since that time, I was not able to open TrueCrypt

Tuesday night, I downloaded and installed the latest security update. On Wednesday morning at the restart, AVG Anti Virus intercepted a few Trojans and several files of phishing. I then proceeded to power work and tried to open TrueCrypt, which contains working files. I get this error message: MacFUSE file system is unavailable (- 1). I searched for the last 24 hours as he tried to do what work I can without these files for a solution to discover that MacFUSE is no longer supported (useless?).

I tried to reverse the quarantine of the AVG files, I was wondering if those who were somehow the culprits who have been involved - which didn't work so then I ran AVG again completely to remove all people still. When I got home from work, I discovered that my Time Machine and AirPort have not communicated since Oct. 15. I'm in the middle of a new backup, which takes forever. I don't know what to do next. I hate the idea of restoring my computer to Oct. 15, when I was able to access the files. Is there a way to restore my computer to the State before the upgrade of security?

I've seen it is called OSXFUSE I was wondering if I installed if she somehow would allow me to access the files in TrueCrypt and decided which was just fantastic.

    The window update

    Hello

Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, Audio, network cards, etc.

You should only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft normally does nor those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware Manufactuer to provide.

But unfortunately, the only way to know which is the update of the problem is to install them one by one, until you find the 'wrong' for your installation.

You can do a system restore to get back until it has been installed (which is NOT the best way to remove an update) or follow this method:

'Remove an update - Windows 7'

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/remove-update#1TC=Windows-7

When you have found the issue of update of the list of updates which is presented > then right click on the update problem > select Hide update > and it will not be available to you once again

    Or the other of these two update settings will give you the chance to see what you want to install through Windows updates;

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

But remember you normally only have problems with hardware 3rd party drivers. Other updates are to improve the Performance and security of your system

    See you soon.

  • Window vista business 32 bit auto update not install SP1

I have Window vista business 32 bit on Sony Vaio laptop. My automatic update of the window is on, a lot of updates were installed, I can't find the SP1.  I checked the updates, saw "the view update history" but can't find SP1.  Basic information system shows no service pack. 'Winver' shows Version 6.0 (6000 building). All other window updates have been installed except "Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express edition service pack 3 (KB955706) who is still unable to install, do not know for what reason." I guess that there is no link between the failed SQL and SP1. It is after a complete reinstall of Vista 3-4 days back.

Prior to the relocation is in that the original version, Vista SP1 was installed automatically by the Update window.
I wonder if SP1 is already installed, but is not displayed or should I download and install it manually.

  • Windows installed the automatic windows update agent and I would appreciate help with the settings option in this newly installed agent update so no update never install or download unless I choose to do.

    Hello.

I have windows vista 32 bit home edition.

Today somehow automatically installed windows ' automatic update agent 747600226

I always keep my settings to check the updates but let me choose whether to update or install.

With this new "update automatic agent" which automatically installed on my system, I want to make sure I have place it properly so that it remains in the same way that I always have my settings but two settings (options), he checked, and are confusing for me to know what those checked settings will do.

I would like to help you with these settings to make sure that the update is still as I want.

Below chose correctly when the new program installed today.  That's how I still want the settings to be:

Look for updates but let me choose whether to update or install

Please let me know if I need to change all the options account required in addition to this update agent to ensure that only, I choose to update or install.

There are four options and a box is in two and I don't know if I should remove the check marks or not.

Here are the other four options that I need to know how to configure it so that only I have update/install.

Once again, the download automatic microsoft today (update automatic agent 7.4.7600.226) without asking for my incentive preset automatic update options and that's what I'm trying to make sure is set correctly so that nothing installs or updates without asking me or let me do.

Option 1: (this option is checked. If I leave it checked will be it install or warn me only?)

Give me updates recommended in the way I receive important updates.

Option 2: (this is not checked and am not worried about this one)

Allow all users to use installed on this pc.

    Option 3:
(this is checked and want to know if should uncheck; what I don't want is any what to auto install, but the wording of this option and option 1 are vague because of the "give me " so I don't know what it means or will do.)  If this box is left to it automatically update/install?)

Give me updates for Microsoft products and looking for new optional microsoft software when I update windows

Option #4 (this is not checked, and I am not concerned about this).

See the notification me detailed when new microsoft software is available.

Thank you very much for your help.

    Take care! :)

    Hello

The Windows Update automatically updates the updater (himself), regardless of your settings.

    1. Yes it will alert you so you can update or install.

    2. check if you need more of yourself (other users) to be able to select and install the updates.

    3. it will let you know when they become available.

    4. just gives the news of additional details about some of the updates.

Looks like you're ready for anything you like.

I have a problem with win xp pro. When I download updates they will download but the installation fails. At the same time when I would shut down the computer, it would be the installation of the updates. Now she even won't do it. Is the a link to the updates, where I can download updates and install them manually? I think I did it once but I forgot to bookmark the link.
