This automatic update not can not install. Have tried the MS fix but without success

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Communities. The problem description, I understand that you are not able to install the update to Windows. Provide the following information:

·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

·         You are able to install other updates successfully?

·         You get the error message?

Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean bootState to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state from the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

(a) click Start, run.

(b) type msconfigand click OK.

(c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

(d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

(e) when you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

Note: You must take the backup of the data before performing any installation of windows.

I allowed MS load this update while the computer was shut down.<--- never="">

On my other 5 computers I welcomed this update runs while the computer was not shut down.

NOW, Microsoft has screwed up one of my laptops with this update.

Update KB2729450 in locked in an infinite loop.

Indicates that the download is successful, but then want to load the upload time and time again.

This update has totally screwed my computer more. I have to stop updates.

#2 clean boot METHOD sounds like a dangerous idea.

I ALSO MADE YOUR METHOD #3 and #4 method.

It's total BS Microsoft screwed this update if you have loaded it in the stop mode.

    If you use any sensor series 2 old on this domain controller, which would need to be removed.

    Can you check software 6.0 again to make sure that its for DC 750 and also go in the repertoire/var/log/sf/6.0. Check the content of /000_start and then the tail 001_check_models.pl.log

    It will erase more log details.

    I reinstalled my Windows XP including Service Pack 3 operating system. After the installation I had to download several updates, they are all installed except one. "Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1. Service Pack 1 ". I get the message "cannot" and "was not installed. Is how important it? If so, how can I install it and if not, how can I get rid of him.     I suggest install you Microsoft .net Framework to update on the computer. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.
    Step 1:
    Review update history to check the KB (Knowledge Based) number associated with the update that fails to install.
    To check the history of Windows XP Update:
    1. click on start, point to all programs, and then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.
    2. on the Web site, click on view update history.
     
     
    Note: Ensure that the number associated with the update of Microsoft .net Framework is KB867460 only then follow step 2.
    Step 2.
    Download the stand-alone Microsoft .net Framework 1.1 SP1 update package and install it in the boot on the computer and see if the problem is resolved.
     
    Note: When you have finished troubleshooting, proceed as explained in the article of boot is a way to reset the computer to start as usual.

    Seem to have found the problem.  Windows 7 (64), PS CS5 extended.  Turns out Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw version 6.7.0.339 was already installed.  Guess 6.6 update is not enough smart to bail or alert when a later version is installed.

    Also, it turns out that Adobe Camera Raw 6.7 is the last update for Photoshop CS5.

  • KB980408 Update Installation failed

    Installed Win7 Pro on my desktop HP two days ago. Installed about 30 updates without problem, but am getting hung up on one of them.

    KB980408 guard failed. The error I get is: "WindowsUpdate_800B0100" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

    I downloaded the update and tried a manual install, but that doesn't work anymore. I tried Microsoft FixIt and it has not solved the problem, even with aggressive mode.  I tried to run the system update readiness tool, but that has not worked for me. I pasted the log at the end of this message if it is of no use. 

    The only antivirus that I am running is Microsoft Security Essentials.

    Google around and don't see any simple answers. Can someone tell me what is going wrong?

    Im having trouble with the windows vista operating system that was installed on my pc.  I tried the troubleshooting options but none seem not to work.   • Windows Updates Installation fail when connected remotely

    I looked at a lot of articles but all VPN users have failures when updates are pushed and must come in local offices to complete.  SCCM is used and it detects the pc and announces the update/s required, but when they download and install there is no progress and eventual failure.  Windowsupdatelog gives no particular reason. Internet settings are the same for in and out of the office.  What can I get? Thank you
