Keeps crashing when Adobe Flash is required

When you use the Firefox browser there is a constant crashing if Adobe Flash is required. Is there a solution for this problem? I use Firefox, because other browsers do not support certain applications, i.e. of Java for example.

If its only Firefox which blocks, you can be better research and ask on the Firefox support forum - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/get-community-support , it could be something like a corrupt FF profile perhaps?

But the usual things to try to verify that you have the latest version of flash at the following site, and if you don't then uninstall completely and then update to the latest version. Check here - https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

IF it crashes when you go to this site, you can check from and look for the flash version of "plug-in" and uninstall it. This gives the general idea - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2601726

After his withdrawal, restart the PC and reinstall the latest version.

  • Firefox crashes when the flash is used.

Firefox crashes when the flash is used at all.
I've checked everything and it is only with flash 10.1.53.64 on the tree

== a site using flash is open

I use Windows 7 and I have the same problem. When I went to 3.6.4, Firefox would be to lock up whenever I tried to play any flash video. I have tried several sites and it would lock up every time I have to close by the Task Manager. I've updated the Flash Player and even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing could solve this problem.

I read that they supposedly separated the plugins like flash in a separate procedure to keep firefox crash if flash does, but apparently they didn't do this right. I had to go back to Firefox 3.6.3 worm and flash works without any problem in this version. Seems that firefox must correct 3.6.4 since it seems he's messed up video flash for many users, if not most. It is useless if it can't play flash since almost all Web sites use this format!

  • He keeps sayingi need adobe flash more recent version of the player when I already have the end that is available

t keeps saying that I need newer Adobe flash player version when I already have the end that is available

The cause is often that there is always a file from a previous version which should have been deleted, but was not perhaps because Flash was in use at the time.

    Please navigate to this folder:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash

In the Flash folder, there should only be a .ocx type file, which should be as follows for the latest version:

    Flash32_11_3_300_271.ocx

The figures in bold represent the version: 11.3.300.271

If you have a different 'Flash32_xx_x_xx_xxx. ocx"file which the numbers correspond with earlier versions of flash, and then delete this file and restart the machine.  The new version should then recognized.

  • Could let know us is it you pls if/when Adobe Flash is acceptable again?

I want to know when I can reactivate the Adobe Flash plugin. In other words, I don't want to have to check several times to see if things have changed. Could warn you users of Firefox?

Adobe has released updates to Flash Player for Windows/Mac OS last Tuesday and end Linux Wednesday.

  • Why are there now TWO Adobe Flash Player required to view all of the Web sites: v11.9.900 and v12.0.0.43?

I had Adobe Flash Player v.11.9.900.170 and upgraded to v.12.0.0.43. When I checked the Add-ons Manager, both versions of Flash were listed and active. I disabled the earlier version, and now indicate a few sites I don't have Flash. When I re-activated the old version, the video has played very well. So what's the problem with it is necessary to have TWO versions of Flash Player installed, the current one AND a previous one? Seems hinkey...

@cor-el: the previous version seemed to disappear of itself, about 12 hours later. I checked the topic: plugins page (along with the Add/Remove Programs), and only the latest version of Flash is not installed. I have already refreshed the pluginreg.dat file.

There always at least a web page that asks for the installation of Flash Player, but it works very well on almost all other Web sites.

  • Firefox update (19.0) keeps crashing when I open something new or try refreshing. VERY IRRITATING!

I updated firefox 'suggested '. I was happy and had NO of PROBLEMS with the old version. Now whenever I try to open a new tab, a new page or refresh an old page, this version crashes. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. It is very frustrating and irritating. I do not like IE and won't go for it, but if your 'upgrade' keeps crashing, I didn't really have any other alternative.

It opens also 2 tabs when I click on a story. It crashes when I order v c or control. It crashes when I space back.

I bet that I've already sent 30 incident reports since I've updated. What the f... you do with them?

CORRECT THIS VERSION UPDATED (19.0). At present, it's crap!

I've done all the suggested 'remedies' too. Nothing has worked. So I went to my back HD external up to copy and reinstall the older version on my computer HD. All the problems stop - immediately! I don't update again.

  • How do resolve you this error message that keep popping up - "Adobe Flash Player Update Service 11.3 r300 has encountered a problem and needs to close".

I uninstalled Adobe Flash Player and reinstalled and still receive the message.  Any suggestions?

In the forum of Support Adobe their Chris Campbell has announced that they are aware of the problem and are working on it.  As an interim solution, he suggests to change the automatic update to "notify me" when updates are available.  Go to the control panel.  Right-click on the Flash drive.  Click Open.  Click the Advanced tab.  Select the second option "notify me".  I made this change in a few hours and so far no errors arise.  Since they are working on it, I guess that they will release an update to fix the update service!

  • Printers keep crashing when you try to print documents CS6 but CS5 documents print very well. Please help, we need advice. What should we do?

I work in the graphics department at a small company.

All our computers run Mac OS X and contain the following versions:

    -10.6.8

    -10.8.5, and

    -10.9.5.

The old Macs (10.6.8 & 10.8.5) run Adobe CS5 Standard and the new computer, Mac OS X 10.9.5, Adobe CS6.

    -10.6.8 has CS5

    -10.8.5 has CS5

    -10.9.5 has CS6

Whenever we try to print something from new computer, it keeps crashing my printers. The new computer installed CS5 but it was a trial version. CS5 documents printed computer again very well, but the CS6 documents always planted printers.

-10.6.8 prints CS5 documents very well

-10.8.5 prints CS5 documents very well

-10.9.5 prints CS5 documents very well (except CS5 is a test which has already failed), but documents CS6 crash printers (both)

I have a HP color LaserJet 5500hdn (printer CMYK) and a HP LaserJet 4350tn (printer b & w). They are two old printers but can process documents CS5 from any of our computers. The new computer, though, even if it is opened in Adobe Acrobat/Reader, printers will be break.

We tested a new Dell 2350dn to print documents of CS6, it works beautifully, but the printer ink is too expensive, about $50 more than our current CMYK printer.

We wish all our computers to run the same Creative Suite (preferably CS6 CC is too expensive for our needs), but we can't upgrade our old machines until we get this sorted printer problem.

Adobe has a list of compatible printers or drivers/updates that solve the problem of the printer crashing for CS6?

Sorry, I have over my work there so this question is no longer relevant to my needs or interests.

  • Illustrator crashes when opening Flash-export SVG

Illustrator (last version CC) always crashes when I try to open a SVG exported from Flash. It doesn't matter if I try to open it directly or import to an empty document. Other SVG open well. I already turned off all non-essential Windows 7 services. Does anyone know a workaround?

    Thanks in advance.

This problem has been resolved by removing all the layers "Sub" on Flash Pro (ActionScript only of the layers, layers hidden etc..). Still a bug, but, since it blocks Illustrator.
