  Note that the download is the player, not an installer, you will need to manually .swf file association.

  If you want to solve this, it might help avoid unnecessary pain on the sites where the Flash is not really essential, try to set the Flash on Click-to-Play (Ask 'activation'). This will delay the Flash start on a page, until you approve.

  To set 'Ask to activate', open the page modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. Search 'Shockwave Flash' and always change 'enable' to 'ask to activate '.

  Then when you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification icon in the address bar and usually (but not always) one of the following values: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.

  The plugin notification in the address bar icon usually resembles a little Lego block, dark gray. When the page wants to use a plugin to soft-blocked, the icon turns red to warn you of anxiety.

  If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the notification icon in the address bar to allow Flash. You can trust the site for the time being or permanently.

  Here are a few ways, one using the Netstream class using the FLVPlayback component.

  The NetStream approach, what follows in the timeline code will play/loop for the planned mp4 file...

  To put the Flash file swf in a html page, in the settings of publication set to publish a swf and an html page.  Publish the file one the html page will be created for you.

  Adobe does not sell older versions of their software (CS6 except for now).  If you wanted to buy an older version, you will need to find and try your luck with a third-party provider.

  As well as not being not able to install any version, please provide further details such as the version (s) and how you attempt installation... it looks like you are trying to do with other applications involved.  In addition, your system itself could be the reason why you cannot install older versions, so if find you details of that it will be useful for anyone who is trying to help you solve this problem.

  The thing that disables the use of Flash on mobile phones and tablets is the cell phone or the tablet itself - they not only without any support for Flash.  You will need to pursue alternative implementations such as javascript/css/html5 use to overcome the problems of mobile/tablet.
