keyboard events in the training record

Hi all

How is it possible to record the events of keyboard such as Ctrl + Z for undo and Shift + click to select multiple items in the training mode.

Users must do this action countinue slides.

that you enjoy.

Hello

If you save in training mode, then by default that Captivate should include on boxes in your slides. You can assign keyboard shortcuts to those click boxes by performing the following steps:

1 double-click on one of your click boxes.

2. in the section click on area of the dialog box click on the Select keys... button.

3. Select join a shortcut

4. to make a cancellation select Ctrl and then in the menu of the letter

Note: To get to the learner to shift + click, select the UPDATE option

5. click OK to close the shortcut dialog box.

To simulate a cancellation, you must then create a branch to a slide where the initial action was performed. Here, you can use options of success we go to the previous slide or move to the slide and then specify the number of the slide.

In regard to simulating it to select multiple items, yet once would perform you similar steps. Depends on how your project has been set up you must either define the action of success we continue or go to the next slide.

The way I tend to work, I got each element I want to select on separate slides and add a click with the attached UPDATE keyboard shortcut box. When the learner clicks on the first click box I then move to the next slide and so on. Of course, this does not account for to the learner to choose items randomly. To accomplish this, you will need to set up a fairly complex branching.

    Hello. I'm building a swf wrapper that loads the third-party swf games. The customer wants a button in the package, that will send a keyboard event in the loaded swf file.

    Can someone give me hand on how to build an event to send in the wrapper which penetrates into the loaded swf file?

  • Capturing keyboard events?

    How is it possible to listen to keyboard events, as the depressed return key?  I understand the class ReturnKeyType does not yet work for the QNX InputText component, but even when it's that I'm not sure it will include keyboard events or if it will just be a Visual change to the BACKSPACE on the keyboard.

    I intend using the class flash.text.TextField (for portability) instead of qnx.ui.text.InputText.  Currently, the keyboard will activate and disappear the flash.text.TextField receives or loses the focus.  However, these text fields are the fields of data entry, so I would listen to the back of the key on the keyboard so that I may as well save entered data and remove the keyboard of the screen - or perhaps more simply, just leave the text field to listen to when it loses focus to save the data and allow the keyboard to disappear.  But how do I activate either by pressing back on the keyboard?

    Hey David,

    You can achieve this by using a listener to listen to the keys on your input object as a textfield and response following which keys are pressed. in your case you would listen for the Enter key and perform your actions like taking the focus and the keyboard on the screen. You can use the program below as a reference as to how this can be done:

    package
    {
        import flash.display.Sprite;
        import flash.display.StageAlign;
        import flash.display.StageScaleMode;

    Since 10.11 I have not been able to download via the usb port of my Davis Vantage weather station. No solution of tech Davis on the issue even with the new recorder of events in the resort. Is there a problem with the usb?

    What Mac? (details)

  • Windows Error Reporting service stopped recording of events in the event log, and now when it spawns werfault.exe, the process consumes the CPU until he is killed.

    Windows error reporting service ceased to record events in the event viewer. The last successful entry was 26/03/2010. Since then whenever the service generates Werfault.exe to handle the error, the process seems stuck in a loop of consumer processor, but do nothing. It uses 99% of CPU (80% preferred), is not e/s and number of handles, thread, & working set do not develop.

    Three Windows updates were installed in shortly after the last successful log entry (automatic update is enabled):

    KB915597 def 1.79.702.0 & def 1.79.495.0 both for Windows Defender

    KB980182 for IE 7

    I think that my system is clean, at least Spyware Doctor think it is. I also did some tests Ad-Aware. Windows Defender analyzes every day without error.

    Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    Hi Wannknow,

    It's good information - and thanks for the thanks! You really only need to run an adware or virus (malware) program at the same time. What I would recommend is that you choose an adware program - either "Windows Defender" or "spyware doctor" and disable the other. This can be your root problem, so at this point I turn back on 'report of problems and solutions' and see if you experience the same problem:

    Again, here are the instructions:

    1. open Control Panel. (Press Ctrl-ESC and type 'control' is faster access method).

    2. click on "System and Maintenance" and then click "problem reports and solution."

    3. click on change settings in the left panel of the problem reports and Solutions window.

    4. Select Advanced settings.  In the "for my programs, problem report is: ' select 'off '. Click on CLOSE the

  • ComboBox does not send keyboard and no event click the menu drop-down.

    I use a ComboBox to search in my application. The application is a periodic table, then the user will be able to search by name of element, atomic number or a symbol. The ComboBox control is working very well, I just have two questions that I was wondering if someone could lead me in the right direction. The first problem is that, when a user clicks the ComboBox for a search entry, the keyboard does not dispatch. The user must use the native swipe gesture to display the keyboard. This isn't a huge problem, but I would really like to work for when the user clicks the ComboBox keyboard is distributed. IV ' e looked in this and concluded that it should work, ComboBox with a property TextInput keyboard should appear, but it doesn't. I also discovered that it is impossible to show/hide the keyboard with the code. I use FB 4.5 and 4.5 Flex and the most recent SDK Tablet from BlackBerry. Y at - it a bug or something?

    Also my other question is once the user starts typing in the search, the filter works great and the drop down displays all of the possibility. But my only problem is the user cant just click and the item in the drop-down menu. For example when the user types "A" all items that begin with a show upward in the drop down menu. The user cannot click on an element. The only way that the element can be selected is if the user continues typing the word until it is highlighted as the only option and then enter hits. This too is not a huge problem, but I like it to work so that if the user types 'A' they can do scroll down the menu and select the item they want. IV also looked into this and can't seem to find anyway to drop down the combobox list have a click event. I'll put a code later that you can see what I mean better, but for now its kind of a general questions. I use FB 4.5 version release and flex 4.5 with the new SDK of BBT. If someone can point me in the right direction, or send me any article that would be GREAT. Thanks in advance!

    It is probably easier than you think:

    1. Create a text input control
    2. Add event listeners when the control is changed ('change')
    3. Maintain an internal table of valid matches
    4. On the change event listener, browse each item and make a match that makes sense.  For example, to cut spaces beginning and end and do a string comparison of tiny out based on the length of a text entry field.  For example, if the user types "vel", which would correspond to "Developer" and "velcro".
    5. Create a list control that is displayed once the person begins to type.  Place it under the control of text entry.  Use the local to global changes in coordination and the size of the width of the list of the same width of the text input.
    6. # 4, dump all the data of the list data provider and add items to it based on string matching.  If no match or the text input text is empty/void/null, do not show the list.
    7. If the user selects an item in the list, hide the list, enter the selection to text entry and then send an event that the entry is "finished".
    8. Listen to the event "full" text of entry to perform what you wanted.

    Of course, if anyone can suggest how to get the Combox to work, go ahead.  I have just a habbit to create controls to achieve the appearance and the behavior I'm looking for.

    Good luck.

  • Sniff for PrintScreen. In Windows 8 blocked keyboard events, monitor what task is to the point.

    In God we trust.

    Good day, everyone.

    My application designed to block the screen capture. It is based on the events of keyboard hook.

    In Windows 8 my callback function is not called, when the monitor of the task is in short.

    I save my callback function with:

    lowLevelKybdHook_ = SetWindowsHookEx ( WH_KEYBOARD_LL, (HOOKPROC): MyCallbackFunction, hInstance, 0);

    It works perfectly in Windows 7 for all cases.

    Windows 8:

    -He works when the monitor of the task is not open.

    -It works, when Task Monitor is opened, not to the point.

    -It does NOT works when the monitor task in short, i.e. my callback function is not called when the task to monitor is the currently selected window.

    -Continue to work (to be called), when the monitor of the task is not to the point.

    I tried to use RegisterHotKey instead SetWindowsHookEx, it has the same effect.

    Any idea?

    Thank you in advance,

    Israel

    PS: I see the same effect with Microsoft Spy ++.

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

    Your question of Windows is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forum. It is better you post the same query in the Microsoft Developer Community. You can get more effective suggestions and adapted by experts familiar with this topic.

    Hi all

    I have a sequence of 3d images that I want to run with the mouse and drag.

    What should I do now that I also want to add keyboard events.

    Help, please.

    Thanks in advance.

    the scope of e is only inside the function,

    Thus, when you write

    var: key: uint = e.keyCode;

    Flash does not have any object called e

    Please rewrite as follows:

    var: key: uint;

    and then, inside the function keyPressed, you write:

    ...

    key = e.keyCode

    if(Key==37) {...

    Be wary of the use of key words, when in doubt if "key" is a name of flash has booked internally always use an underscore (_key)

  • Run the code to output on output keyboard event and not mouse exit

    It seems that the exit event runs on the cell in the table (text field) when you select a cell with the mouse.  I have had to force a Tab or entry to set the focus keyboard to another cell in another table.  It's pretty easy to take place, but when you select a location with the mouse, the exit event seems to operate and excessive rides of the keyboard focus to the location I'm force.  Is it possible to ignore exit code for the event in case of non-clavier?

    Hello

    The exit event will always when the object loses the focus. Take a look at the end of this example that shows how you can detect how the field was left: http://assure.ly/j1KdNq.

    This early example also considered the development of a field setting when you press on enter: https://acrobat.com/#d=RZ1lzX23 * u7L4N9rtWCYPQ.

  • With the help of a keyboard event to play a different scene

    I want the user of my game to be able to press the space bar and to be considered as a new scene. I know how to do this with a button, but I can't understand the code to use for a keyboard event.

    Can someone help me understand how pressing the SPACEBAR reading a new scene?

    If the intention is really to stop at these images, use gotoAndStop(), gotoAndPlay() instead.  If you say something to gotoAndPlay where it already, is any stop() command that you could have in this context is already sold out, to run.

  • Keyboard event listener does not work in the browser

    Is there a reason why a keyboard event listener would not work if the flash is embedded in an HTML element? The rest of my game runs well in the background, but I can't launch the movieClip "nextCar." My code is below, if that makes a difference...

    goNow function (event: KeyboardEvent): void {}
    thisOtherKey = event.keyCode;
    If (thisOtherKey == 32) {}
    nextCar.gotoAndPlay (2);
    parkingQue.play ();
    tent ++;

    }
    stage.addEventListener (KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN, goNow);

    This is perhaps a silly question, but have you tried to click on your swf file once it opens in the browser and then try the keyboard controls?

    I don't know any problems that may cause debugging workwhen event listeners, but not in a browser.  So I think that maybe your just not well centered on the swf.

  • Generates an event on the indicator

    I'm developing a program in which I need to generate an event on the indicator, the project is as we give 4 entries for LabVIEW vi equipment, since these 4 controls are through material I can't generate events on them, so I'm trying to generate an event on the indicators of these controls , but the structure of the event does not respond when I use the value on the display change event. After doing some research, I got to know that we can use the value property (Signaling) to generate events on the indicator, but I don't get how to use it.

    This is the vi in which I train, this is not the project initial vi, it's just the vi to learn how to generate events on the indicator.

    Thanking you

    You create a value of signage as follows: click with the right button on the Boolean value and choose Create > property node > value (signaling)

    If send you a value to this terminal will trigger an event.  For example see the image:

  • Structures of parallel event on the same trigger events

    Based on information gleaned in this thread [using ends records], I think what I'm trying to do is impossible and so intentionally. But it would be so nice. Here goes:

    Given an event and two dynamic records for this event, is it possible to capture the event simultaneously in two structures Parallels event?

    I understand why it is generally undesired behavior, but it save me considerable grief [vote]! If it is possible. Here's what I do [uh, trying to do]:

    I have a set of SVs published network which are written in an acquisition of data VI. A VI of dynamically fits to the OAS events, Web method handles events [send new values SV making HTTP], and then unregisters before complete execution. When I run the VI web method via a URL request, the client sits and waits for a response until the SV is written to, and then correctly receives the data from the web method VI. So far so good. However, there are two cases where things go very wrong:

    1. several customers call the web method

    2. a single client calls the web at a rate faster than the rate of events

    In both cases, several instances of the web method are active and pending events simultaneously. When a new SV event is generated, one of these web methods it will resume. In the first case this means that only one customer will receive the new data. In the second case, no SV event is detected indefinitely - web method instances in addition to more accumulate. Even if I use a case of timeout to kill the old instances of the web method, the OLDEST we capture new events and the client will not recognize a response to the new instance.

    I anticipate using the customer of the poll, although it will be not as pretty as using the structures of the event. Am I wrong?
