I missed the deadline to upgrade to windows 7, can I still get the free update announced with my computer?

Hello once again;    vista SP2 32-bit operating system.  I called microsoft they said no more free updates. IM call dell now. any ideas?  I still have the receit.

The upgrade offer ended there for all makes of PC that I am aware of the month. At this point, you should buy the correct version of Windows 7 upgrade.
