Keynote export (6.6.2) to PDF errors

Keynote 6.6.2

MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid-2012) / 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7/16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3/NVIDIA GeForce GT 650 M 1024Mo

My keynote file is 20 slides for a long time and when I export to PDF (good) 3 of 20 slides contain errors.

  • Now black is white
  • lacks 2.3 areas of text per page

Any suggestions?

Thank you

James

Hi jamesBP425,

Thanks for checking out the Apple Support and communities for details on what is happening. I understand that you run error when you try to export your Keynote presentation. I can certainly go on some info to help you get that job.

Given that you have problems with a few slides, I recommend trying to re-create these slides only in a new document. Then try to export this document to see if you experience the same errors. This will help determine if there is a problem with the document you are editing or these special slides. If it happens with only specific slides, you may need to remove the original document and then recreate them again. You can also try to export a document to different test that does not include these slides, just to make sure that it normally exports.

You can see the link below for the full procedure on a Keynote presentation as PDF export.

I use Adobe InDesign CC 2015 on Windows 7 and a book with several chapters, each chapter being a separate document. Several attempts to export the book to Adobe PDF failed with the following statement:

"Printing error: Adobe Print Engine failed at the end of your data due to an unknown problem."

When I run the command 'Package book for print', it shows that there are some fonts and missing images. However, as far as I know, I replaced all the missing fonts and I'm unable to see all missing fonts or images on the computer screen. Person documents in the book export to Adobe PDF with no problems, but the book does not print as a whole, affecting the table of contents and the page numbering (e.g. Roman in the front-end vs Hindu-Arabic in the rest of the book). I'm frustrated because InDesign doesn't tell me what the problem is. I'd appreciate any help in this regard.

No, I wasn't trying to PRINT to PDF. I tried to export the book in PDF format in following file > export... and then click on PDF for output. That did not work. However, I just realized that I can export the book by clicking on the small arrow in the upper right corner of the menu that shows all the documents in my book (I don't know how it's called). From there on, I chose "export book to PDF...". "and voila! It worked.

Two invites on 1 page in Indesign that when exporting to adobe reader in pdf format, I can simply add new names that populate both copies and then be printable. Any help out there is how to make an invitation in Indesign, but now how to make 2 copies on a single page that someone else ie the customer can add their own names. So each field name must complete on both guest. Sounds simple, but is not really there to help. I think he called an interactive pdf. Thanks in advance.

AutoFill is the easiest part, he lies. If both fields have the same name, they will have the same content: type in one and it appears in the other.

  • Export QuarkXpress pdf errors

    Hello

We are a company that works with Adobe Acrobart XI standard and we have a problem...

We also work with QuarkXpress, and our problem is the following:

We add files to PDF in QuarkXpress and we export a single final file in Adobe Acrobat pdf format and this file sometimes have errors with numbers.

Numbers are changed, and the characters are one above the other.

    can someone help me please?

  • A pdf file exported from InDesign, but displays various error messages when the same file is downloaded on the same laptop from the company's Web site

    Hello

I'm having a problem with a pdf file created for my business. It exports without problems and displays correctly on my computer, but once it is transferred to the Web site and you download from here, pages randomly displayed not correctly, images and pieces of text go missing and different "internal error" messages pop up, such as:

    "An internal error has occurred."

"There is an error on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the pdf document to correct the problem.

"Failed to retrieve the embedded police"LICYDR + GaramondMT". Some characters may not display or print correctly.
    "Insufficient for an image.

And when I close the pdf file it asks if I want to save even if I did not bring any changes to the document. It seems that everyone has problems with pages and receive different error messages. It is exported using the smallest file size preset in InDesign. Any idea what could be the cause? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    Sarah

One thing to check is if BINARY is used in the FTP client. If a client FTP ASCII is used, it may corrupt PDF files.

Here's another thing to check yourself for you. Find the size in bytes of your original PDF. Now, look at the size of the uploaded file in bytes. Are they the same? If this is not the case, ask your colleague the size in bytes of the PDF file on the server. Is this the same as the original, or bad file?

  • Export to PDF error - cannot read a jpeg image, but I do not know what jpeg image.

I created a (A5) document in Indesign cs6 with 116 pages. Because I would like to print the book I want to export it in pdf format. Normally it is no problem for me, but now, I got the following error message: "error occurred during playback of JPEG images. Image may be damaged or incompatible. Re-save the image with different settings, and then try again. "It's pretty boring, because my book contains 631 links, most of which are .jpg. Anyone know how I can know what image gives the error?

What is remarkable is the following. Because it is a very large file, InDesign automatically cut into paragraphs (with names like 'A5 V' or 'A5 V3'). Closer to the problem, I tried to export each paragraph (all between 3 and 30 pages) in pdf format. But I managed to do that, then you would think that there is nothing wrong with the document at all. But when I try to export the document as a whole still once I always get this error message on the JPEG image. It takes a few minutes (between 30 and 40 percent of export) before I get the error.

Is that what I should have tried that I forgot? I hope someone can help me with this problem.

If you are able to export as sections it is almost certainly not actually a problem with the image, but a problem not enough system resources to complete the work. It's not uncommon that large complexes PDF exports.

Try to restart and then immediately open ID and try again the first thing of the export. If it works fine. If this isn't the case, you can combine your sections in a single PDF file in Acrobat Pro.

  • Error in the export of interactive report in PDF format

    Hello

I use the APEX and an interactive report, trying to export using download | PDF format. The table and the corresponding report includes only text fields. Database character set is UTF-8. So far I have not been able to get a PDF file that can be opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Each file fails with message as "Adobe Reader could not open nomdefichier.pdf, because it is not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an attachment to e-mail and has not been correctly decoded). This happens for every report I've tried so far. If I export the report to CSV format, all are ok.

Y at - it a bug known with download PDF of APEX?

    TIA

Do you have a printer (Bi Publisher or FOP/Cocoon) server configuration? If not, then you will NOT be able to generate a PDF file...

  • PDF error message

"There is an error on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.

I exported an InDesign CS6 file High Res PDF to send to a printer format. Everytime I open this PDF, I get the above message. Sometimes reader falls down "AR quit unexpectedly" and gives me a code window. The size of the file is 30 "wide x 80" high and about 7-11 mb in size. I never had this problem before.

This design of a large banner is all images TIF and AI. A few words of the text are converted to be vectorised text.  I opened the older PDF files to compare. Some are now open. Some fail with the same error message above.

I restarted. Reduced to a minimum of fonts. Converted to outlines. Reduced my design elements one by one to see if a corrupted image. Yet, no chance why it does not display correctly.

Sometimes, when I opened the PDF I can preview some images that disappear when the full file is open!

Is it a setting in Acrobat Reader 10? Is this a problem coming from InDesign CS6?

With the help of 24 "iMac. OSX10.10.3. Adobe InDesign CS6. Acrobat Reader 10

Next time, you can also try and save an IDML file in InDesign. This is often used to clean a file.

But this could also be caused by what you put in the InDesign file and then you will need to check that.

  • FormsCentral is throw the value of exports dropdown when you import PDF form

I would like to communicate that I'm pretty new to this process.

I created a PDF to a word document. After creating the form in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI part and adding javascript validation and calculations mainly from these community forums I encounters an error when importing the form of FormsCentral.  I have drop-down lists that contain numbers (1,2,3, etc.) to choose the amount of guests will invite the recipient. In turn, selecting a number, the value of exports ($100, $ 200, $ 300, etc) will be displayed in a text box adjacent indicating in quantity, what it will cost.

It works fine in Acrobat, but when I import I get a message:

FormsCentral was able to import the PDF file with the following exceptions:

The choice field that contains an AddtD displays and exports values. FormsCentral must ignore export values, and this can cause existing calculations and validations to fail.

The choice AddtG & D field contains both view and export values. FormsCentral must ignore export values, and this can cause existing calculations and validations to fail.

When it comes to efficiency, I am aware that I can do things the tedious way. But I want an idea on how to make the most active text box in this scenario. I will include my properties / validations and calculations:

Drop-down list 1 (AddtG-D): export values, such as discussed above

    Box 1 (TotalAddtG-D):

    Validation script:

NULL filed value if the input is zero

    if(Event.Value == 0) event.value = "";

    Custom calculation script:

Set this field to the value of the drop-down list box

    Event.Value = getField("AddtG&D").value;

Goes the same for the drop-down list box and 2 2, because they are the same. Any help would be great!

This is an unfortunate limitation of FormsCentral. I don't know really the reasons to make it, because you can use JavaScript to set export values after download and it works great. But a better approach is to use not the value of exports and to modify the scripts to make up for it. This is usually done with a lookup table to associate a value dropdown with what would normally be its export value. If you provide a list of your values in drop-down list and the corresponding values for export, I can post a sample script that you can use instead of what you are currently using.

  • Loading of a DLL on RT: Missing Export "DecodePointer" "Kernel32.dll" and 7 error when calling the DLL

Hi, I recently changed to Visual Studio 2010 and Windows 7 64-bit.

I have an existing Office RT system running RT 2009.  This system calls a DLL that I already built using Visual Studio .net 2003 and Windows XP.

Since I've recompiled the DLL I get an error 7 file not found error when I call the RT DLL, even if I simply replaced the old DLL with a new one in the file system so the path has not changed.

I also noticed that the message on the screen connected to the RT system during startup:

"achieveworldpeace.dll" load error: lack of export 'DecodePointer' of ' Kernel32.dll'.

Any ideas on this problem?  It is perhaps as simple as a switch in the compiler?

    Thank you.

I'm not sure it's a simple switch in the project settings in Visual C. The problem is clearly in the standard C runtime library that gets linked to your DLL and refers to exports of Windows which are not available on the RT system. Don't forget that the RT system is a limited Win32 API emulation.

I usually avoid these problems using Visual C 6 to create DLLs for LabVIEW projects. The standard library of the C runtimes will not know what Windows API reference more recent exports because they have supported even under Win95. So unless your explicitedly reference code not supported RT APIs you wouldn't have problems. If you do not use the standard C file i/o functions and management of memory in your DLL functions, you can also try to link statically C runtime libraries in your DLL, or vice versa depending on what you have now. It may or may not work. Otherwise there is not much else but by using an earlier version of Visual Studio.
