  You must first select all of the messages concerned.
  Click on the star at the top of this column to sort on that column.
  This will place all together tracked messages. Click on the star for a 2nd time to reverse the sort if that helps.

  I have about 14 000 songs in my iTunes library, but really there are only about a quarter as much because there are so many duplicates. I don't know how they got there in the first place, and try to remove them is infuriating! I have already spent several hours going by checking all the files I want to remove (thinking that I would delete then all files at once) - only to find out that I still have to delete them one at a time. There must be a better way! Help, please.

  If you don't know that you want to delete all checked the songs in your library:

  • Create a new smart playlist with the following rules:
    
    This will show then checked all the songs in your library.
  • Select all the items in this playlist (Ctrl-A)
  • Hold the SHIFT key and press DELETE - follow the prompts to remove songs from your library and (if necessary) your PC media files

  In case of problem, you must back up your library before you do just in case the results are not what you expect - see tips to the user of turingtest2 on your iTunes for Windows with SyncToy to backup library for a suitable and recommended method.

  I assume that you use the application overview.

  I can't find an answer to back up everything, but a workaround could be while the file menu options are visible, press the option key

  and the point of the window will become close, if you click on that dialogue will ask you if you want to restore the changes or save

  pressing Save will close the image with the changes and then move to the next image and so on.

  If the emails are side by side, select one, then hold down the SHIFT key and select the last one. Hold the command key and clicking on the individual emails should work. What happens when you try?

• 13 Windows updates fail to configure when installed manually, one at a time

  I just bought this gateway DX4375 a couple of weeks with pre-installed Windows 8 and had 86 important to install updates. Whenever I tried to run the update, they could not set up and took hours to undo changes.

  I've refreshed the operating system reset a couple of times and even including erase the disc without success after trying to fix the problem with all of the recommendations of Microsoft.

  Finally I tried to install them all manually one at a time. 13 (attached) of them would not move because he could not set up and kept breaking the updater. Some of them even caused the update history to be wiped and all downloaded updates deleted.

  I ran to the resolution of the problems of updating to correct errors, but they would still not set up. Even with the updates that are successful the updater is often broken and requires repair.   Thanks Vijay, but if you take the time to read my post that you will see that I tried many scans including SFC on more than one occasion. When I finally got the 8.1 update win with the help of Microsoft problems disappeared.

The good news are the following steps will help to solve your problem and get your keyboard working properly again. First, start by resetting the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac:

  Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac.

  If you still having the problem after resetting the SMC, use safe mode to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks, remove files from the system cache, check your startup disk and trying to fix problems if necessary directory. Sign in to your account in safe mode and test the issue again. Then restart normally and test again to see if this problem is solved.

  Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

  I'm using LabView 2011 for resistance measurements.  The express vi DAQ assistant is placed in a while loop and it acquires 1 sample (on request).

  Each sample is acquired, it is compared to a set point. If the resistance value is greater than the set value, a task is executed. If this is not the case, no action is taken.

  Now, I would like to increase the frequency of acquisition of say 5 kHz. As before, I wish the DAQ to give each value because it is acquired and compare it with the desired value.  However, only one point acquistion is limited by the speed of the while loop (which does not exceed a few Hz per second when I use the software-timer.)    If I use 'continuous samples' at 5 kHz, data acquisition does not give these samples one at a time.  It seems to acquire until the buffer is full and then released several samples at a time. It is therefore impossible to compare with the set value.

  Is it possible to get data at a high frequency and do compare to the set value, one at a time?

  The code is simple enough to do this.

  But the problem, it all comes down to how fast all of the other code in the loop takes to run.

  The first problem is that you use the DAQ Assistant, which provides a lot of extra load in the loop, especially if you don't set it up properly.  (And we can't say because no code is set to look at us.

  You should try a real code DAQmx where launch you acquisition continuous samples before the loop, acquire exactly 1 sample in the loop.  Then close the DAQmx task once the loop ends.  See if keeps.

  Why do you need to do this?  Note that all instant Windows might decide to fly a second or two and go and do something else like a virus check.  If you need at that moment (how exactly do you need that?), then Windows is not the right system for this run.

  Started there is quite some time to this. Automatic updates would not download is no longer. Various error messages came. I tried to get help from Hewlett-Packard, went through all the things they suggest, some of them are listed in your FAQ.
  None of them have anything good. Now when I turn on my computer in the morning I find they fail even to download. The only thing that seems to work is, I restart the computer, go to each update separately and uncheck the mark in the square. So I start from the top and check each square at the same time and download each update one at a time. This morning for example I had eight updates failed. Whenever I downloaded one, I had to restart the computer. Overall, that it took me an hour to get the installed 8. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium on an HP Pavilion a6130n PC

  To clear the contents of the my recent Documents folder

  To clear the My recent Documents list, follow these steps:

  1.	Click Start , and then click Properties . Or, if the Start menu is already displayed, right-click an area void of the Start menu and then click Properties .
  2.	Click Customize .
  3.	Click the Advanced tab.
  4.	Under recent documents , click clear list , click OK and then click OK . Most recently used documents are removed from the my recent Documents folder. Note that this action does not delete the documents from your hard drive.
