  For me, the matter is simple, and the reason why the SD card reader is not working, it's just a driver compatible isn't installed.
  My theory seems to be correct, given that the SM bus controller and PCI simple communication controller appear in Device Manager and I suppose that one of these devices belongs to the player/controller of the SD card.

  I don't know if it will solve your problem, but as far as I know the Bluetooth must be enabled using the FN + F8 key combination. After that you can use it properly.

  I have Toshiba Satellite C855-12N with new installed Ubuntu 12.04. My problem stops the system when the power adapter is connected. System stops, but after 3 seconds starts automatically again.   Acrobat and Word are quite different types of applications. Namely, Acrobat isn't a word processing application, although many people think that it is and try to use it as such. Therefore, I don't think that this is possible. Annotations in the PDF file are nothing like the changes you can make in a Word file, or vice versa.

  Toshiba does not any serial key for activation of the system.
  In most cases, computers laptop Toshiba are preinstalled with Windows that is already activated system or activation would be done during the first internet connection.

  I suppose that you did create recovery media that would allow you to recover the laptop to factory condition. This recovery disc (medium) could be created using the preinstalled software Toshiba Recovery Media Creator.
  It s always advisable to create this media because the HARD drive may begin to malfunction and in this case, it is not possible to perform HARD drive recovery procedure.

  Laptop seems to support Realtek Wlan / BT combo card.
  If you are using Windows 7, you must install Realtek BT filter package before installing the battery Toshiba BT.
