Keywords automatically lowercase?

I want to know if LR makes automatically the keywords in lowercase letters. I have a keyword created with names of people like Michael and Anthony, but when I click on it to add them to the list of keywords they record under 'michael' and 'anthony '. Is this normal?

As suggested in another thread, 'sofia' is already in the database, even if Lr knows you meant 'Sophia '. It is a typical problem where the app or the UI is sensitive to case and aware, but isn't the underlying resource.

In the Panel of keyword edit 'sofia' to something else, like "fnord" (i.e., through a gesture of click right change.) Then replace 'fnord' "Sofia". This should change all the photos of the uppercase version.

  • LR3 will automatically transfers the keywords of photos created in PSE when importing photos

    Hi eveeryone.

I'm new to LR3. I would like to import all of my photos in LR3 and all of these photos have keywords tags that have been made to post-secondary studies. LR3 will automatically import the key word tags too? If this is not the case, how would I do?

    Very much appreciate your comments.

The answer is 'NO', because the import is the WRONG thing to do here.

The procedure is to have the LR3 to update your PSE catalog. In Lightroom, file-> upgrade of PSE catalog. All your tags will appear in Lightroom as keywords. Couldn't be simpler!

  • TLF: Automatically bounces image URL to lowercase?

I have a bad problem with TLF. I store the messages from the user on my server in HTML using the TextConverter API for all my textflow objects export to HTML format. When I retrieve messages on the server, I convert HTML to a textflow by using the TextConverter API.

Import HTML into TextFlow breaks everything. All my < img > properties of the source (src) are bounced back to tiny, breaking several of my images. This example illustrates the problem:

  • Keywords applied automatically (but I don't want 'em)

From my long list of keywords are four that are automatically applied to each group of photos I have import from my SD card.

They are COMPANIES, ATHENS, GREECE, EUROPE. Three are nested/subkeywords: Europe > Greece > Athens

They were used, as you have guessed, for a business trip that I took in Athens in Greece.

Why are they now automatically applied to all my images? Any advice will be appreciated.

    Thank you

    At least three possible reasons:

    1. the keywords are listed in the keyword entry box in the import dialog box

    2. the key words have been saved in the preset metadata you apply to images to import.

    3. a Variant 2, but you apply the preset after importing the metadata.

The first should be easy enough to check and fix

The other two require you opening the metadata preset, removing unwanted keywords and then re-register. You can open the preset metadata editor in the menu library metadata module (Edit Metadata Presets)

  • After reset my Firefox is no longer opens web pages automatically when I type keywords in the address bar. How can I fix it?

Before I reset my Firefox I could any words in the address bar and Firefox would redirect me to the Web site. For example, typing ' reservoir dogs, imdb "would redirect to the film's IMDB page, and type a random sequence of characters would take me to (for example) a website of a company that uses these characters as an abbreviation of his name.

I never put this option anywhere, it was just like that for quite a long time. Now, this possibility came to me and I can't seem to fix it.

I use Mozilla Firefox 21 laters.

  • Automatic keywords?

I use the bridge for the first time I put a book together in InDesign. I love the bridge's capacity to sort by key words, but I'm having a problem. Although I have created about 25 keywords myself, when I open the Panel filter and look at the keywords, there are dozens of them that I did not create. For example. I added a still image from the movie "There Will Be Blood" and now, there's a keyword "BLOOD." It seems that there are keywords incorporated in them until I downloaded or acquired - it's understandable.

Is there a way to make these key words, that I have to not appear in the Panel filters? Of course, I can go through all the photos and delete keywords, but a lot of work makes it almost not useful to use the bridge for these tasks.

Hello, you should check if these keywords are in the metadata of the image. Open the metadata Panel (in main menu/metadata of window), select your file and check if there are keywords that you won't see in the metadata Panel. They will probably be in the area of the IPTC Core. You would be able to delete them directly in the metadata Panel.

  • Disable the automatic search

I edited on: config and changed "keyword.enabled' to 'false', but it's still an automatic search of Google at the boring address when I type in the address bar.

  • Y at - it replacement Keyword.URL

I am currently using Firefox 24 and keyword. URL no longer exists in topic: config. Is there another way to possibly customize the awesome bar search engine in Firefox 24?

    • UPDATE *.

I figured out how to customize the search engine bar in Firefox awesome 24. However, I'm not a big fan of the way to do it because I can't customize the search engine, I want to. You must choose from Bing, Yahoo! or Google... I use Ixquick as my search engine and when I install their Firefox search engine is not automatically the awesome bar search engine when selected.

If you do not know how you select a search engine for the awesome bar in Firefox 24 then do you... In the upper right of Firefox, where is the small search box, select the search engine of your choice to search with. This will automatically become the search engine main and Firefox awesome bar search engine if you use the default homepage on Firefox.

The search engine used in the address bar Firefox 23 + is the search engine that is selected in the search bar.

You can consider using a keyword (letter) for the search using the address bar.

You can define a keyword for a search engine that is installed through the Manage search engines (click the icon to search on the search bar engine).

    • Bug 738818 - consolidate the Firefox search preferences
  • Why is head forced text lowercase

This problem manifests itself first in the Opera browser. Then I loaded Firefox to check to see if the problem is specific to the opera, but it appears in Firefox as well.

I'll build a web site with www.gandsnut.net/elecprod/ using the current version of the CMS Joomla (2.5.0). In this environment, we can fix the top-of-page headers, logos, etc..

I wanted two lines of text to the top left of my home page. I want [' electronic nut specialties] (text inside the parentheses) and below, I want to [ingenious gadgets, construction quality, design interesting!] (text inside the parentheses).

In Joomla, I configured the fields with two text strings mentioned above - keep in mind the CASE is important.

In Firefox and Opera, which was displayed when accessing the designated text home page, but all the letters made tiny.

At first, I thought it was a problem with Joomla and started bug applications to their community.

Check also, if I mouse click/drag through the two lines of text, then copy - paste in a text file, letters seem OK. In Firefox, using tools-> Web Developer-> Source of the Page and scan down to the text in question, it appears with the proper case.

Here is a copy/paste of the source:

    < a href = "/" title = "Home" > "electronic specialties of the nut < /a >

Clever gaGeTs, construction quality, design interesting!

On the run page, the letters are tiny.

HOW CAN THIS BE? How can what Firefox reports as source of the page for a web page appear differently ON the web page? Worse still, how I point highlight/copy/paste a string all appear to be tiny, and when I paste them elsewhere, the change case?

    Please notify. Appreciated.

    The text is automatically converted into lowercase because of a css rule that applies to this text: #header H1 {text-transform: lowercase}

  • Is it possible to have search keyword already include some terms in the search?

For example, if I want to do a keyword search for a Google search with the keyword 'dl' which already includes the terms "site:mediafire.com"automatically. "

    Is this already possible?

Of course, simply add as keywords before the %s in the bookmark.

You probably can't do it if you add the keyword via search engines to manage, but it should work if you create a bookmark and assign a key word.

  • How do I change Google to DuckDuckGo when you CTRL + K or CTRL + J? (I have already changed the about: config > keyword.url)

Hello. I have something I want to change the default behavior, but I can't do it.

Here's what I want to do: I want to change www.google.com to www.duckduckgo.com. However, when I do CTRL + J or CTRL + K he continues to send me on www.google.com.

Here's what I did: I found that the search bar is now useless. Indeed, the "awesome bar" is so awesome that I have basically need the bar more research. Thus, for a long time, I took it.

There is only an advantage. When the search bar disappeared, the shortcut which was to place the cursor on the search bar got another behavior. When I use CTRL + K (CTRL + J), the page would automatically change to www.google.com.

I liked this behavior, because at the time, I used google as my search engine.

But now I want to duckduckgo, I'm kind of embarrassed by it, especially since I cannot change this behavior. I have re-enabled the search bar and changed the search option above to DuckDuckGo, in hopes that will change behavior. He did not.

In addition, as DuckDuckGo has said, I changed on: config keyword.url and keyword.enable.

    But I still have the www.google.com when I press CTRL + K/J

I asked the question to my stream of Diaspora ( http://diasp.org ) and was able to get a solution in the day. Go figure. Before doing this, you will already have DuckDuckGo added to your list of search engine (in the drop box).

Here is the solution. With the permission of ilyse na' IMO kazar

in the subject location bar: config. You will need to confirm when you are advised that «this will void your warranty» You will see a bunch of preferences which, if you have never done this before, you never imagined exist under the hood of the FF.

In the filter bar type browser.search.defaultenginename. In the column 'Value', says Google. Double-click the word Google and a dialog appears allowing you to specify the default engine again. TypeRegeditdans DuckDuckGo exactly as it appears in the drop-down search engines available in your browser. On my Mac the magic string is "DuckDuckGo (SSL)" without the quotes.

About: config and check it, out worked for me!

  • Why doesn't Firefox automatically go the first google result when write us something in the browser bar?

In previous versions, when I wrote something like "Heathrow airport" in the browser bar, FIrefox automatically redirected to the site of the airport, which is I guess that the first result of a google search. Why this won't happen again? Is this a problem of the new version or is there any setting to change?

You can change the pref keyword. URL on the topic: config page to use Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" or "Browse by name" Google.

To open the topic: config page, type Subject: config in the address bar (address) and press the 'Enter' key, as you type the url of a Web site to open a Web site.

If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access this page.

  • Guess keywords in URL does not work since FF4 update

Firefox 3 has this feature, if you typed in a keyword in the address bar and you press on enter, it would automatically direct you to the website associated with the expression. Now all what happens is I went to google.
EX: In FF3 typing 'best buy' would bring you to Bestbuy.com
Now: 'best buy' = to search google for "best buy."

I did a search for a solution, after the 'correction' and "keyword.enabled" fixed, to see that they had no effect.
I realize at this point that they are unrelated to my problem.

You can change the pref keyword. URL on the topic: config page to use Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" or "Browse by name" Google.
