I just brought a new X 1 - All in One ThinkCenter. Due to improper handling, I was forced to reinstall the computer using the Reovery disc. Everything was fine... but now the fan is kicking in every 30 seconds even when the CPU is not used... I apply the flash BIOS (m0hjy30usa) without any positive results...

Any idea that can help me understand the question? Should I have the latest BIOS flash?

I tried a couple of solution by myself and a change in the power management... So far, it seems that this has a huge impact on the temperature of the CPU. I'm currently running at 41 Cel. (104 F) and I ran a few tests Stress CPU without any problem. Although the system is 91 C / 195F when the CPU is at 100%... (as usual seems to me at this point). Satellite M30x - kicks from cooling fan and overheating

I just thought I'd post what I was looking for an answer why my cooling fan suddenly engage kicking in every 30secs or if. My machine is new, so I knew it wasn't dust on the fan, but it was really boring after being so quiet when first bought. Anyway I had updated the memory of 2 x 256 MB 1 x 256 and 1 x 512 MB (Crucial) as a Christmas gift to myself.
I just thought that I would be back to original memory because the plastic cover was really hot and I was wondering if that was originally.
The problem has been resolved. Fan comes barely at all! If additional memory is to overheat the machine.

It is always interesting to read about new experiences. But in your case you should not think that there is a problem with the memory upgrade. I'm sure that you have used two different modules. In other words, a new module was probably more quickly while the original and there reason for overheating.

In my opinion, you should use the module recommended by Toshiba and try it again. Compatible 512 MB module has PA3312U - 1 M 51 part number.

If you have taken part this model to clean, then you can left on the connecting cable of the fan from the system board.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have NEVER on it
machines, including those that you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

So I have an app I think which is kick off games... Well I play only 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Battlefield 3. When I'm playing SWTOR, he kick me on the desk. Let me be clear though, it crashes, because I can get back in the game with Alt + Tab or by clicking on the icon. Now, the only thing I installed was Ninite. For those who don't know, that ninite is an open application source that will update all the programs selected for you with these programs, they are ones I asked to put up-to-date. Firefox, Chrome, Silverlight, Air, Java, Java x 64, Shockwave, uTorrent, 7-Zip, steam, Auslogics, Skydrive, VLC, Spotify, Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, iTunes, .NET, Google Earth, Malwarebyte s, Ad-Aware and Spybot 2.

I made sure that I turned off all auto scan on their part, but I'm still getting kicked on the desk during playback of SWTOR. When I play Battlefield 3, it's as if he's trying to throw out me, but he goes out only for a second and then returns to the game. It's REALLY annoying especially when SWTOR reading, because the game is so huge that even my computer rather fast takes a few seconds of rear loading. If I knew the offending program, I either disable or uninstall. I've looked in Task Manager and can not find one that is, because TM it does not show as a running application. That said, I do not know there is a process running for it, but I don't know what it is. It's not like I can look in the newspapers because it is not an error. Someone has ideas how to identify the offending program?

BTW, I went into MSCONFIG and disabled everything except essential programs like Antivirus support, keyboard and mouse etc. I don't even have Ad-Aware or Spybot from and these services are set to manual, but it seems logical that he is one of them.

TL; DR: I get kicked to the desktop while playing SWTOR and cannot know which program is the cause.

Thanks, yes I did. I found it was my antivirus. Somehow, it became corrupted and I think he tried to update literally all the time. For some reason, it only affected Battlefield 3 and 4 and The Old Republic. Norton Internet Security is 2013. I have always used Norton, but I now have NIS 2014.

Capture logon after user/password hash and store it in a part of the application. Create a On Load: before header process application which runs under condition if the hash of password/user session is different from the one currently in the database, the call apex_custom_auth.logout .
