Kinda weird Muse-generated site map

Hey there,

When I look at the site map that creates the Muse for my page, I'm a bit confused, as it seems totally weird. It seems to be just a list of images without any structure.

With previous projects of Muse, I have not encountered this problem...

You can view the map of the site here: http://n90media.de/sitemap.xml

And here's a comparison how it looks with another project: http://stb-neunzig.com/sitemap.xml

The second site is indexed by Google corretly, isn't the n90media page.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you!

I'd say it's a bug in how browsers make XMLs that contain nodes preceded by XML namespaces.

For similar pages (say print.html) that exist in the desktop and phone of "renditions", Muse link those together so that search engines will better understand the structure of your site. That being said, if you open the sitemap.xml generated by Muse with a text editor (not a web browser) and the search for print.html, you'll find something like this:

0.5

  • Add Sitemap in Adobe Muse (was: site map)

How can I add sitemap on my site of Muse?  XML - Sitemaps.com

The site map for your site is generated: http://www.studiojoi.com/sitemap.xml

Muse generates sitemap for the export of the site but in case you want to add your own sitemap then as suggested by Vivek, use any FTP client and connect to your site and crush the sitemap generated with custom sitemap Muse.

Download any FTP client like filezilla, use the hostname in the site's domain, username and password the same as your server username and password. Once the files are listed, replace the old plan to the new sitemap site.

  • Bad generated site map

The plan of the site associated with my site hosted by BC- http://howtocheatinphotoshopelements.com/sitemap.XML - is not correct. For some reason it relates to this site: http://musetemplateeu.businesscatalyst.com/index.html. Any ideas why this happens? I use one of the freebie creative cloud sites, if that makes a difference?

    Hi David

Can you try to disable and re-enable the sitemap of your site, then check.

You can try to re - activate using www.howtocheatinphotoshopelements.com.com/AdminConsole/#! /utilities/SEO.aspx

After you solve it, it would take time for sitemap to be generated. Give it 24 hours.

  • Muse creates a map of the site for you?

During one of Dani Beaumonts SEO best practices jam sessions, she said, that the Muse automatically creates a plan of

Google to research. I continue to check and Google does not have a plan for my site of Muse, Muse creates a sitemap?

I don't know where to look or how to fix the problem.

Muse does not create a site map for users. Muse generates the sitemap.xml file. You must add a link to the file in the Google Webmaster Tools. Absolute path looks like this http://your_domain.com/sitemap.xml.

  • The Muse site map

When I write my site, the site map seems not to show only one page when I consult domain.com/sitemap.xml in the browser. However, if I export to format html and discovers the sitemap generated locally, it seems OK. Why the automatic sitemap does not work? See the image below. Thank you!

However, when I put it in the Muse menus do not work & pages need new names (I want Atreyu in never Ending Story...)

As I said I apologize if it's super basic, but google gave no results

    Thank you!

In fact, Muse allows two pages to have the same name, just not the same file name.

By default, only the file name is generated by the name of that page is given in the Plan view, so is knowing if the duplicate name restriction comes. If you go to the property Page, you can disable this automatic behavior and make the file name you want as long as it is unique for the whole of your site.

Every page has the name used in the menu (Plan view), the title used in the browser tab and search results, and the file name. By default, Muse generates the title and the name of the denomination in the Plan view, but you can substitute that in the Properties Page.

How can I send my site map of Muse for the approval of the customer? Thank you.

    Hello

There are many options for a file sharing - you could copy it to a company network server, or send the file back, or use a service like Dropbox, SendThisFile, Adobe SendNow file sharing or Creative cloud sync, among others.

What is right for you depends on the size of your file, how many times you send the file back and personal preferences

    Hello

You can try to front page of the site hyperlink to any text that would open the sitemap on the mouse action.

For example, domain.com/sitemap.xml, enter in this format in hyperlink with any text or image that you can place on the page footer area.

When I write my site, the site map updates for the user to navigate the site in their browser. However, the xml file does not work - I know because when I search www. There is no problem with the DNS of your domain name. Site is made a new delegation in BC and the field points correctly to THE DC where the site is hosted.

In regard to don't muse not synchronized with BC and the page not being deleted (when it is removed from the Muse project), I don't see a reference to harvard - copyright.html in the file muse_manifest.xml on your site for a reason, but the file exists physically. So what I'm suggesting here is to:

    1. manually remove all pages not required BC admin.

    2. Once you do this, publish the site of Muse (all files).

In regard to point 1 above, online content editing is disabled by default for sites published through Muse to BC and so the Pages tab appears for you under the Site Manager.

However, you can always turn on the change content online by logging into the site administrator-> to go to the section my details (hovering over your name at the top right) and select the option as shown in the screenshot below.

Please see the post below for a reason which is why the option is incompatible with the Muse (but does affect all of the features as such if you enable it).

  • Site map and Google Adwords

    Hi all

I will say that I am so impressed by this forum. When the people of chat to Adobe/Muse said "ask forum that they will answer your questions" I was skeptical, but so far BRILLIANT

    Anyway, enough smoke breath

Two questions please, as a numpty full I have a hec of a lot of things to learn!

First of all, how can I ad a site map on my web site. I googled this and all I can find is Adobe explaining what a sitemap is developing of Muse, but I want to Adwords purposes include an on the real website site map if you know what I mean? Something like maybe http://www.justlogbookloan.uk/sitemap/ ? I don't know if it is a function in the Muse or if it is to build it from scratch?

Second; have just created an Adwords account (this is why I want a Sitemap like this apparently helps with your level of quality) and I am now obsessed to try to get a quality score of 10 for my main keywords. I know that this is nothing to do with Adobe, but it is entirely to do with the Muse as this is the web site that determines the level of quality. If anyone has any advice or suggestions/ideas on how to get a perfect 10 ten, then any help would be great. For any online business master Adwords (level of quality so so) is essential for software construction web site, this may be something that can be developed on maybe? Just a suggestion

    Thank you all

    Steve

    Hi Steve,.

There is no built-in feature to generate a sitemap in Muse, so it'll be a manual version. You can automate it using a widget menu plain style for the list.

Also, remember to submit the sitemap backstage Muse generates (www.yoursite.com/sitemap.xml) to Google Webmaster Tools, because this will also help you to your listing in the comprehensive plans.

  • My description of my adobe muse Web site does not appear when I google my site

So, I recently watched the tutorial Adobe Muse to increase the SEO of your site, and I followed all the steps perfectly. Always for some reason however, when I google my site www.unbalancedimage.com a description of my site does not appear. I don't know what is happening and I could really use help as soon as POSSIBLE to solve this problem.

I recommend starting with tutorials on SEO in general. One of my favorites is this session Adobe MAX, last year http://2014.max.adobe.com/sessions/max-online/#/video/544>.

The short version is that you first need to Setup Google Webmaster Tools. Google has documentation for that and a little research will also find tutorials for how to do specifically for a site of Muse.

Once the Web Master tools is set up, Google has documentation to find out how to submit the sitemap.xml. Muse generates this file to the root of your site.
