Kindle Fire Support?

I understand today's announcement that the peripheral fire kindle will work on Android.

  • Anyone know if this means that adobe DPS will work on the new Kindle?
  • If this is not the case, what is the probability that it will be supported in the near future?

Thanks, Jürgen

Yes, Adobe strives to support the new Tablet from Amazon.

With yesterday's announcement, does anyone know if DPS will work or support new devices from Amazon?

DPS apps should work on the new HD Kindle Fire. If there are questions, Adobe will probably come out a fix.

You'll want to create renderings of folio 1280 x 800 with 1024 x 600 renditions for the fire of the SD. The fire of Kindle uses a version custom of the Android operating system that does not display the navigation bar of the system 48 - or 75-pixel in spectator mode. The system navigation bar appears only in library mode.

  • Amazon Kindle Fire Support?

The touch applications are supported on the Amazon Kindle Fire?

    Hi David,

Not at the moment. Adobe of Touch applications require a minimum Tablet Android compatible running Honeycomb 3.1 or higher and a screen resolution of 1280 X 800. More info in the FAQ of Apps Touch. I believe that the Kindle Fire has a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 and runs a modified version of the gingerbread.

  • No Firefox menu button on rooted android 7 "kindle fire 2 running jellybean

There is no button menu at the top right and no physical menu button on tablet. also, no Firefox option in settings of the Tablet, what happens?

As you have seen, Firefox for Android should adjust automatically depending on whether you have a physical button menu. On devices with a physical button (e.g. Galaxy S3) is not on the menu display button. On devices without physical (e.g. Nexus 4) button on the screen button is displayed.

Kindle Fire is not a supported device (even on the stock rom) so I guess there's an oddity on this device or your rom that is causing the problem.

I tried to find a way to force Firefox to display the button, even when he thinks he has a physical button available. My guess is that there should be a setting in all: config somewhere but I have been unable to find it or any reference to people trying to do the same thing online.

Unless someone else comes back with an answer, I would suggest trying one of the following values:

Try to force on screen menu buttons appear settings here: http://brandtkrueger.wordpress.com/2013/04/23/enable-on-screen-android-navigation-buttons-on-the-galaxy-s3-requires-root/

Try the 3rd party app menu on the screen. Like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=opotech.virtualbuttonbar & hl = in

    I hope this helps.

The HP ePrint app support network connected devices only, the 1512 Deskjet is not supported as a single USB printer.

  • How to connect a kindle fire to my laptop?

How can I connect my kindle fire, that does not have a driver on my laptop?

    From:

"The customer service saw my post here and called me." They said that there is no driver and that fire should open (not in mode "standby") before plugging the computer. I plugged and again got this message on the installation of the driver, so I just clicked on "Don't ask Me This Again" and the box opens for Windows Explorer folders. I disconnected and reconnected the message trying to install a driver is now gone and I can go to Windows Explorer to view the folders in the fire. »

  • HP 2540: print from Kindle Fire HD

I need to print on the printer HP 2540 M/F to my Kindle Fire HD 2nd gen and Kindle Fire HDX

    jocarter,

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

Please take a look at the following:

    Add the printer device

You don't want the printer to connect to your wireless network.

If you have a computer at home, and the printer software is available for your operating system, you can install the complete functionality to your printer software.

While you are in the site Web of Support for your printer, it downloads a copy of the your printer user's Guide - it's always good to have on hand.

Your printer is not an ePrint printer - you can skip the sections connected HP and ePrint.

The section you need for your Kindle:

See Section > Mobile device / iPad becomes an application
