My problem is, the sound is very low since the first day when I bought it.
The laptop is still under warranty and I don't know if it's a software issue or a hardware one.
I am located in Abu Dhabi, I don't know where is the center of support toshiba here and I don't know why this particular model can not be found anywhere!

  • Tecra M11 - very low audio volume

I have a Tecra M11 for a few months and I am overall very happy with my new laptop.

A question I have is the speaker volume level. When I play the video or the sound of music is about audible, even with the speakers lining and the relevant channels appeared in the volume mixer in Windows 7.

When I open volume mixer I see that the speaker volume is at max, where is the application that plays music. I can't bar which moves vertically to show the level of the sound playback, a green one, and it does not go beyond 25% of the full bar.

Everyone experienced, or got any advice on how I can get my speakers a little harder?

    Al

Have you tried reinstalling the Audio driver?

    External speakers work ok?

Have you installed the latest version of the BIOS?

If you play a Midi file, is also very sweet?

  • N5520 very low Audio with Skype

I have some audio problems with Skype on my DELL N5520. The sound works perfectly when I watch movies or listen to songs but I get questions when I use Skype. Video is fine but the incoming auido is muffled and low even if the volume is high. I saw a similar problem posted here:

    http://en.community.Dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3517/p/19434632/20043822.aspx

But the solution given here does not solve my problem. In fact, the image provided in this thread of Doroshkea:

    http://community.Skype.com/T5/Windows-desktop-client/no-sound-on-new-Dell-laptop-with-Windows-7/TD-p/349768

does not show anything in the drop-down menus marked in red. I have 2 other laptops, and they all show different options in the drop-down 'Speakers' menu where I can choose between the speakers or headphones, but I do not understand these options with my N5520. Also, I tried to change the setting of the Volume in the bar below, but which causes only my voice make echo with a lot of distortion and noise on the end of receivers, so I can't change that.

The sound is clear when I use headphones, but not with built-in speakers.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you

I have some audio problems with Skype on my DELL N5520.

Hello. Dell support does not list a model named N5520, so I'll assume that you have a 5520 15R model. (Support Dell and Dell sales often use different names for the same model).

If anything in the drop-down menus, try to reinstall your sound driver Conexant and then again look at the Skype options. If there is still nothing then try to reinstall Skype. To get your audio driver go 5520 15R download page, select your operating system from the drop-down list box, and then expand the Audio category.

  • Satellite A110-178: Audio output does not pass the low frequenties

    Hello world

I just bought a satellite A110-178. However, the audio output of the socket minijack isn't what it should be. Frequencies of less than 200 Hz seem to be switched off. Perhaps the sound card the filter to protect the tiny Laptop speakers, but this is not normal.
I checked all settings of windows, virtual sound is set to off, and I have reinstalled audio drivers realtek, but still no bass.

    Can someone help me please...

    Hi guys

Have you heard something called Virtual Sound Toshiba tools?
I think that it s preinstalled on the A110. On my laptop, this request has been pre-installed, and there are different options that might help clear this issue.

I put t know exactly what that problem because nobody has described the problem detailed, but you should check the options in open detail settings.
There, click on the Option button and you will get the new window with the option enable called the audio filter when the audio sample rate is less than 44 kHz

This you should all play a bit with this good luck tool

  • Re: Satellite a series - error message "No Audio output device" installed

The small icon in the lower right corner that normally allows you to control the sound settings now appear with a red X next to it, and when I move the mouse over it I get the message above "No Audio output device" installed I have absolutely no idea why this happens suddenly, but I noticed a couple of weeks, and then a few days later, when I turned on the laptop, the sound was back to normal.

Now, I have this message again-, it seems it's random... sometimes when I turn on the machine it is ok, other times I get the above message. I touch any of the settings ever as I am a non-technical person, so have no idea why this is happening suddenly. I tried simply to reboot the machine, but it does not (today).

My machine is a portable satellite. If you ve of suggestions as to how I can just get my sound back to normal (i.e. in the background, something not not to even think to, it works just as you would expect), please posting a reply. Warranty service was going to get paid for their time. I'm sure it's a very simple solution and I would appreciate greatly any help you can give me.

Thanks yo a lot for your time in reading this.

    Hello!

Say please use this Satellite phone you have exactly? If you look at the Toshiba site, you can see that there are a lot of Satellite phones, A market with a different hardware configuration.

And you are using Windows XP or Vista? If you are using XP, you must install hotfixes for devices high definition Audio:

  • WANTED m6 that no audio output device is installed

Hi, I was looking at a CD on my m6 DESIRE last night and it worked fine.  Today, I have the speaker with a red icon in the lower right corner of the screen and when hovering over it says "no audio output device is installed".  I tried to uninstall the device driver, but that didn't fix it there.

The driver for device "IDT High Definition Audio Codec" under sound, video and game in Device Manager controllers also has a yellow exclamation point.  When I uninstall and reboot, sometimes just with the yellow mark again.  If I try to upgrade the driver, I get an error message "Windows found driver software for your device, but has encountered an error trying to install it."  A device attached to the system does not work.

    Help...

    Installation of this driver fixed the problem: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en & cc = US & swItem = ob-109687-1 & jumpid = reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0002

  • Satellite U300-152 - no audio output device is installed

The sounds are works well when I do update windows, update antivirus and updated some software like adobe air and adobe shockwave but when I open the laptop the next morning, there is a red cross marked in the speaker icon on the lower right of the laptop and it says : "no audio output device is installed".

I couldn't find the sound and game controller in Device Manager so I'm frustrated. Its been 3 days now, I use the laptop without noise.

Can you please help me in this matter?

My laptop is Toshiba Satellite U300-152
Windows 7 Ultimate but not pre-installed (Vista Home has been the pre-installed)

I tried to download the latest audio driver from realtek high defintion, but its still does not. Tried several restarts, System Restore, disable antivirus but does not yet.

I don't know what can be the problem but the fact is that updates Windows update offers some drivers and, in general, you should not install their Mr. with other words, you should only use the drivers from Toshiba.

What can you do now? Have you tried to reduce the OS to an earlier time (before installing updates) and check the functionality?

One last thing. Software driver Sound should start with Windows, then please check MSCONFIG > startup if the sound software is listed and enabled it.

  • Equium A200 1v0 - DVD Volume very low

I noticed DVD playback volume is very low (even when the cursor of the volume on the drive and windows is max had). MP3 playback is very good and volume is much stronger, he just seems to be a problem with playback of the DVD. I tried a Toshiba DVD player software and Windows media player, but they give the same result.

    Someone at - it suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Audio controller: Realtek
OS: Windows Vista editions Home Premium

    Hello

I presume that you have played the MP3 from the HARD disc and movies from a CD/DVD player

In the control panel - settings, you will find different audio audio controllers
You must choose the reading and put all the controllers of possible sounds at a higher level.

    Best regards
