Currently, the only target FPGA that is supported by LabVIEW FPGA, other than our FPGA cards in our product page, is the Xilinx SPARTAN-3E XUP Starter Kit.

Help, please! Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware (HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH40F SCSI CdRom Device) because the driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

    Hello

Code 39 means that the driver is corrupted or missing.

Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

Also check with your system manufacturer to see if there are any updated drivers for your DVD. Or even if it
are you can reinstall the 'old'. Many use Windows default drivers however some special aura
ones. Also check the website of the manufacturer of the car.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Do not install the device driver for iPhone on Windows 7, computer does not recognize iPhone is plugged

I have Windows 7 and all of a sudden my iPhone 3 G will not sync with my laptop.  The computer has stopped recognizing the phone being connected at all, and yet he is recognized in iTunes.  When I plug in the phone it gives me the message... device driver failed to install.  I know it of a compatibility problem and have searched through the forums and was on the phone with the support of Apple for FOUR hours and nothing has worked.  They even sent a new phone, and it still does not work.  HOW can I find the driver that needs to be updated?  I checked in the device under the universal Bus Port Manager and it indicates that the Apple driver is up-to-date.  He sometimes let me to sync my contacts and calendar errors... but without music, photos, ringtones, etc.  Help, please... I lost tons of time on it!

    Hi regsiler,

I suggest to open the Device Manager and in the view tab, click Show devices. Remove all instances of the device, and then restart.

The phone begins to change when it is connected to the computer?

    Hello

First of all you n t a driver for the CD/DVD drive. The drive uses the standard Windows OS driver and it s not necessary to install additional.
I suppose that there could be something wrong with the registry entry.

  • Windows XP cannot load the device driver for the CD burner. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (code39)

I have a HP Pavilion running on XP.

Device Manager displays the following material: A: HP CD Writer CD16b

    B: pioneer DVD - RomDVD - 116.

Both have the dreaded yellow symbol showing that they are not working (they do not show in Windows Explorer)

By clicking on the two points of product

"Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (code39).

I created the 'properties' of each machine that pilots should be:

    For a. imapi.sys, redbook.sys c:\windows\system32\storprop.dll, pfc.sys and similarly for B machine.

I copied imapi.sys, redbook.sys, and storprop.sys from another XP computer (which works well), deleted these drivers and pasted in the replacements.

    Does not cure the problem.

Now the pilot 'pfc.sys' cannot find anywhere else. Click on the driver generates (v 2.1.0.165 Inc. - Padus ASPI Shell)

I'm out of my depth now. No idea what is ASPi Shell.

    Help, please

The problem is most likely the pfc.sys.

What I would say, is to follow the steps under "Windows XP" in the MS KB article:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/982116

These measures, to remove the UpperFilters and LowerFilters, values if they exist, in the registry key named can help.

Create a System Restore Point beforehand and restart the computer later.

Following steps should remove pfc.sys which may have been left to the wire after that uninstall of software associated with the readers.

Here is some info on the pfc.sys:

  • Error installation software device driver for removable devices in Windows Vista x 64

I have Windows Vista x 64 installed on my PC and nVidia Forceware motherboard and graphic cards.

When I plug in any removable drive into my USB 2.0 port, Windows starts the installation of the device driver software and then sees it as an unknown device. The dialog where he asks me if I want to 'locate and install driver software', 'Ask Me later' or 'don't show this message for this device.

I select the recommended option: "locate and install driver software.

I click 'Continue' when Windows asks me permission to continue.

Then, when the execution of the installer of the software in the bottom right of my screen, the installation of driver software for device, it shows "unidentified device failed.

Then another window pops up saying this:

"Found New Hardware - device unknown".

Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device

Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it.

    Kodak

An error occurred during the installation of the device:

The driver for this device is missing a necessary entry. Maybe it's because the file INF was written for Windows 95 or later. Contact your hardware vendor.

If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit their website and check the support section for driver software. »

That's what he does when I'm trying to connect my Kodak Easyshare M550 digital camera. I would go ahead and contact Kodak, but the problem seems to extend to ANY removable device on my computer.

For example, I have a Lexar Flashdrive. When I plug it into my USB 2.0 port, it Windows says the following:

"Windows needs to install driver software for your USB Flash Drive", etc...

'Install the device driver software', 'USB Flash Drive search Windows Update'...

Then a window opens asking me to "insert the disk that came with your USB key. Problem is that no driver disk not supplied with the hardware that Windows Vista is supposed to come with the drivers. I know this because the camera and usb flash drive worked very well until I reinstalled Windows Vista on my new hard drive (new installation, because my old hard drive crashed) and I've NEVER had to install device drivers for Windows to recognize it as a removable drive and operate automatically.

Also, I installed Daemon Tools Lite and I had to manually "Update" the device driver to point to the "Windows\INF" folder in my hard drive, after copying the cdrom files needed for the specific subfolders for windows to let the program assign a drive letter for the drive virtual it creates.

I think that perhaps not all device drivers have been installed when I installed Windows Vista, this time. If that's the problem, I don't know how that could happen, nor how to fix it, but I really prefer to find a way to solve this problem without reinstalling Windows Vista again. I don't mind not manually install the drivers as long as someone can show me what files to copy and where to find them on the Windows Vista disk that I bought at Microsoft. I KNOW that Windows HAS come with these drivers.

If anyone knows how I can fix this, please tell me, because it's ridiculous to not be able to use any removable device readers (except for the use of all Flash drives). Thanks in advance.

I know it can be frustrating to solve problems.
