  Hello

  My step daughter has finally threw his arms up in the air and agreed that win 8 is more pain on a desktop that is worthwhile and is not for her.

  We have installed Windows 7 64 bit and are now just trying to find the compatible drivers for SM Bus controller and usb 3.0.

  I'm assuming that the drivers for usb 3.0 as the keyboard and mouse are ok, just the 2 front usb 3.0 do not work (although that seemed to have given up after a week).

  We executed the 'original' pilots when he was running Win 8 x 64, but they don't seem to have. Maybe a compatibility problem, can be me as it was very early this morning when I gave up for a while.

  Any help/pointers gratefully received

  If the auto install file does not work, download and unzip the second listed (zip file).

  Go to Device Manager and click on the smbus controller needing drivers, click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you have unzipped the file.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

  For mouse pointer problem try reinstalling the drivers for the touchpad.

  Recently I reformat my win pc XP MC using the recovery CD, but I saw on the Device Manager CONTROLLER of BUS SM is to have yellow question mark.
  How could I solve this problem?

  Some time my pc froze (work stoppage) so I have to restart my pc.
  Is it because of the sm bus controller? I try to click on update, but there is a message (the hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software)
