  For the first unit, see if it works.

  This package contains the driver for the card reader JMicron for the notebook models and operating systems.

  File name: sp41703.exe

  Windows Update can have the driver for the second device.

  To install the driver for it, being connected to the internet... go to Device Manager and click on the device of ACPI\ITE8715 who need the pilot.

  Click the driver tab.  Click update driver and select Auto search.  Wait for windows to download the driver or reports there is no driver available.

  The driver you need is for the infrared transceiver of ITE.

  There are pages of driver for this device on the HP support site, but no download link to the driver.

  on the driver download site, you can download the installation instructions. Follow this order of installation. Toshiba Power Saver utility can be downloaded from the pilot site, too.

  You can also use your CD tools & utilities. There you can find all the programs and drivers for XP. Doesn't matter if it's home or teacher, the drivers are the same. But maybe some drivers from the download site are updated to a newer version.

  Hi all!

  I just picture this computer and am trying to install drivers for it.  I installed several drivers available at the Download Center of HP for this model, but have not been able to get all those that I need.  I have still several devices which, no matter which driver, I try, will not work.

  For example, the hardware ID for the top lack of driver are:

  After doing a quick search on google for these identifiers the info I have found says that they were related to the processor (Intel XEON E5 1603).  I went to the site of intel and tried to download display drivers and anything else related to it and nothing has worked so far.  Each element in the photo below seems to be a product intel based on the hardware ID.

• Reinstalled XP Pro, lack of drivers for the broadband connection

  I just reinstalled Windows XP Professional on a Dell Latitude D505.  Ethernet controller drivers are not installed (Code 28), and I don't know how to reinstall.

  The CD I have is the operating system reinstall CD.  I don't know what to search online to find a downloadable driver and cannot connect to the internet on the Dell.

  The location of the Ethernet controller is bus PCI 1, device 8, function 0.  Device type is other devices, and the manufacturer is unknown.

  If life was as simple as that!   gboanna, you're going to need more, much more, than just the drivers of NIC (NIC) after a fresh Windows XP installed!  (I consider that you do not have the CD Drivers and Utilities described in the Dell Latitude D505 system information Guide ?)  Your sound works?  Which video driver is the Device Manager say Windows XP help?  (I bet it's generic!)  Do you want to really use the drivers Dell provides before using anything Windows (and Windows Update) selects...

  You're going to need all the drivers for embedded devices, Intel® chipset utility, lack of Dell applications, utilities, updates, etc. available on the Dell support site.

  To really move things along, you can go here , enter your Dell service tag and discover your specifications and then know what drivers you need. (You can navigate from there to the drivers and download page and start the download.)

  Otherwise, you'll have to go to the more general support of Dell Latitude D505 page (accessible by selecting 'portable', 'Latitude' and "D505"), and then selecting fifteen (15!) different NETWORK card drivers.  BTW, I think that the network connector RJ-45 at the rear of the Latitude D505 is a driver Intel® PRO/100 VE Network Connection , as it is the only unshielded driver pair (AKA RJ-45) Ethernet twisted in the list.  Be sure to download and install only the drivers, etc. you need.  I'm sure you don't have that fourteen wireless network cards, you can choose from!  Write back if you need more information!  Good luck!

  I accidentally erased Windows 8 on my computer, so I bought a copy of Windows 7 and installed on a 100 GB partition. The problem is drivers are missing, he said: the network controller, 2 base system devices and the SM bus controller. (Initially the ethernet controller and PCI simple communications controller were lack as well, but I got the LAN driver from the manufacturer's website and they are ok now).   Thank you, Bill. The computer is a gateway NE56R. The gateway wireless driver did not work, but the wireless controller is a Realtek RTL8188CE, and I got a job site Web of Realtek driver. For anyone reading this who has a similar problem, the SM Bus controller is in driver chipset on the Gateway Web site, and I ran lspci under Linux, matched the PCI bus, device, and function numbers that Windows Me has given and discovered that the base system devices are for the location of card reader. I found no drivers for them, but it is a trifle compared Wireless does not. Thanks again!

• Snow Leopard drivers scanner for AIO 2820?

  My wife and I bought an AIO 2820 last year.  It was new, so I'm expecting continued software support for it.  It seems not to be on the list of supported scanners apples (but it's a printer supported), and I can't know if HP has nothing to help me.  I don't even consider that it would be not supported when I upgraded this afternoon, and now I can't scan.

  What can I do?

  I found this problem this morning and spent an hour or so on our Macbooks trying to figure it out.

  OSX includes printer driver - not the drivers scanner.

  In the end I uninstalled the drivers for my wifes machine and resinstalled the leopard drivers - the scanner pulled upward.
