• How to enable the task panes in Acrobat 9 Pro?

  I am using Acrobat 9 Pro at work, and I am repeatedly given instructions on how to do different things that all have Pane them (s) of the task. However, at some point on this machine I (or the person in front of me, since I have never used Acrobat before, most likely) somehow closed the shutters, and I spent several hours on the internet searching for how to re - open once again, does not. Please, there must be some simple button to press or the menu item to activate such a standard feature, often used. Help!

  PS - As I saw a lot of "How-TOS" in my search that say "go to view-> show/hide-> [...]", but I have not a show/hide option in my view menu... - what in Acrobat X and XI?

  Not sure about an order - but if it is in vCenter you can try restart the virtual Center Server service. To be honest I don't remember if this method works

  For example, after adding new fields of text to a form, the "Forms" menu is the only task pane visible. I would close this and see all of the available tools.

  When activate you the normal components forms editing mode and toolbars are not available - you complete and exit forms editing mode to get back them, using the tasks > next edition of forms in the pane forms.

• Recent task pane shows failed these last duties from May 14

  I tried in vain to rehabilitate a number of blades there is the May 14 almost 3 weeks and then again may 26. The task is not at the time. They are always shown as being cancelled by the user in the window recent tasks under the status column.

  Is it possible to purge this detail of the recent tasks window.

  Restart the virtual center service.  It's annoying, but it works.

• Deployed application not appearing in the task pane

  I have deployed an application, have charted... all the necessary roles to Participants after a successful deployment, when I'm loggin in workspace BPM, Application does not appear. However the Application roles are all get displayed in the administration of BPM Console.

  1. you mean, on the left side, you do not see a link for your application for a job opening. Am I wrong? If so, check first if you have a few users added to this first initiator role. If you have deployed your application once JDev right here only, all the participants of this role, add will be stored in the db. Will be not any further redeployment with more participants. This is part of the bpm design itself. From BPM Workspace, then log in as admin. Link administrator, add users to this role and see if that helps. If you added participants in the JDeveloper IDE, itself, they can not be stated, even if you see in the administration console. In order to remove the existing participants or add a few new participants and see if it works.

  2. I hope that the first task of the user who submits the task includes the actions like sending and it should be the task of the user for the initiator type. When you change the task of the user and add a human task, at this time, select from drop down as initiator to the Action only as submitting.

• No "Portfolio PDF task pane" on Intel Macs!

  Acrobat 9 Pro has different behaviors between Intel Mac and PowerPC Mac!

  On Intel Mac, I can't change the default to a PDF portfolio layout, because it does not display the "Briefcase" pane, so there is no way to press the button "CHOOSE a LAYOUT.

  But on PowerPC Mac, everything is fine.

  I think it's a serious bug that only affects Intel Macs. Please confirm this.

  I have no problem see the Panel to CREATE a LAYOUT in my MacBook Pro. You could try Acrobat preferences the removal or reinstallation.

  I'm running on Mac OS X 10.7.4, Firefox 14.0.1. This problem did not exist until this last update of Firefox. Basically, a preferences panel opens each time data is entered in a field. It doesn't seem to be the same preferences panel you see when you open preferences through normal access Firefox, IE. Firefox > Preferences. All the choices listed in this special preference pane are specific to Firefox. I have a screenshot that I could include if wanted. When you use the pane appears when you enter a search in the search bar near the address bar of 1Password the task pane opens, when entering data in any field because I am now filling in this report in detail pane also appears. It's pretty boring. Any advice? I will try systematically to leave any add-ons and see if that makes a difference. I have ave tried to do a reinstall without result.

  Isn't it always the case if you disable the other extension except 1Password?

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

  If this does not work in mode without failure, then disable all extensions and then try to find out who is the cause by allowing both the problem reappears.

  Who would print the entire area.  I don't see an option to print just the tasks or notes.
