Lack of TIME in Access 2003

I am filling an Access 2003 DateTime field with date AND time by using the following code:

-FORM-
< cfset createODBCDateTime = datetime (now ()) >
< cfinput type = "hidden" name = "createdDateTime" value = "datetime # #" >
-ENDFORM-

-ACTIONPAGE-
< cfinsert datasource = "intranet" tablename = "alerts" formfields = "alertID, isAlertColor, alertText, beginDateTime, endDateTime, createdDateTime, createdIP, createdUser" >
-ENDACTIONPAGE-

Copy the following code returns:

{ts ' 2007-05-14 14:52:11 ""}

However, in Access 2003, it looks like this:

14/05/2007

I'm capture createdDateTime, endDateTime, and beginDateTime and * need * hh: mm in all areas. How can I go about it?

It seems that the problems were using and . Switch to standard SQL INSERT and UPDATE queries did the trick. Now, the dates AND periods are found in the database and in my application.

  • Access 2003 - repeated "You cannot make changes to the database" error

    Hey all,.

Im having a very strange problem with Microsoft Access 2003, we work with the old databases and when we open them by Access 2003 we get the message "you cannot make changes to objects in database" error, which is expected. However, the laptop began to repeat this message repeatedly about 8 times after the first time that you click on it. Its very annoying to have to keep clicking to get rid of the error message. Its a very strange problem, any ideas on how to solve this problem, or even explain what could of happened will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

PS Ce is not an option for updating the database, we work with a program that uses a database of 97 old and if you update the database the program will stop working.

EMERGENCY: Opening of a MS Access 2003 database in Ms 2003 and Vista simultaneously irremediably corrupts the database, erasing all forms. It is a progressive company upgrade to Ms Windows and Office 2003 to Ms Vista and Office 2007. Some users now have the Vista Machines and still others 2003 machines. They all share the object database, which resides on a SQL Server. When the database is opened in 2003 and Vista users at the same time, the forms are destroyed and the database is permanently damaged.

  • Migration: Access 2003 to Oracle SQL

    Dear all

I would like to migrate from Access 2003, to Oracle 10 g. I use SQL Developer to the task and have reached the point to capture the XML file I exported from access. I need to create a repository of migration on the target database, and this causes problems that I have all of the necessary privileges.

In the process, I have been informed that the migration from Access to Oracle are not easy to reach and in fact requires careful planning before execution. My goal is not really to transfer the data stored in the database file. I only really want to transform the logic of code SQL Oracle access. I was wondering if anyone could advise on the typical sides of success in the realization of this task.

I migrated the same Access database to MS SQL Server some time ago and the process seems to be going smoothly. Would it not be reasonable then to migrate MS SQL to Oracle SQL, if this is easier?

Any comments would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    M

Use the option of rapid migration of SQL Developer...

Here, you specify the mdb file and oracle database connection...

and then it's just a matter of clicks

you will be able to transfer your data from access to oracle...

personally, I have not tried the ODBC option between oracle and access...

    will try that...

  • Lack of time real plug-in

I have a project in real time using a 9074 cRIO chassis. The project opens fine on my desktop but when I try to open it on my laptop, a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside appears at the level of the chassis and don't see anything below the level of the chassis. If I right click on it, it just says: "the plug-in for the selected item is not installed on your system or the plug-in has a license has expired. I have installed all these elements on this machine:

    NIRIO1310f1

    LV 2013 SP1

    SP1 FPGA development

SP1 of development in real time

    NIDAQ1400f1

Don't know what else I could possibly be missing, don't remember installing something more on my desk? No matter what project I try to open, any project won't let me in time real access below the chassis level. If anyone knows what I could miss I would appreciate the help. Or if you need more information.

    Thank you.

I installed NIRIO14f1 and my phone seems to work again.

  • ThinApp - I can't install Excel 2003 and Access 2003 on the same machine

    Hi all

I have a problem and I can not solve. I have two packages of creatud:

    • Excel 2003
    • Access 2003

When I install a package, it's the work of weel but when I try to install the second, I got this error message:

A version identical or newer Microsoft Office Access 2003 (VMware ThinApp) is already installed

Can you help me please ?

    Miluge

The reason for the same GUID (MSIPackagecode, MSIUpgradecode) is the capture of the individual components of a single configuration. In your case, you could have captured Access 2003 and Excel 2003 in a single Office 2003 configuration. Thus, ThinApp share the same GUID of the original configuration.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

    1. open one of the package.ini and uncomment the code MSIProductCode and MSIUpgrade (by removing ';' at the beginning)

    2. change code both MSIPackagecode and MSIUpgrade for this package. You can do it by changing just a single bit in the 32-bit key.

For example, if your GUID looks like below,

    MSIProductCode = {2DF388F8-535F-6909-DBBA-288792F19500}

    MSIUpgradeCode = {0B400927-A236-B536-B00A-8961831A298F}
You can change the values as below. Here I changed only the last piece

    MSIProductCode = {2DF388F8-535F-6909-DBBA-288792F19501}

    MSIUpgradeCode = {0B 400927 - A236 - B536 - B00A - 8961831A 298G}

    3. rebuild the package and test it. It should work now.

  • Connect to Access 2003 forms to oracle

    Hello

I have a migration task Access 2003 tables with data for Oracle DB. Access database is on the (Windows) file server where all users have access to it :).
Datebase Oracle is on Linux. I want to migrate date from access to Oracle, then connet forms of access to the Oracle schema. Access forms must provide the ability to read and write data in Oracle. Any ideas how I could do this?

The first step is to use the developer SQL Migration Workbench to migrate the tables and data from MS Access to Oracle.

The second step is to create a linked table in your Access database for each of your table migrated. Which is explained in detail in the following thread:

Access 97 to the conversion of the Oracle

    I hope this helps.

  • Access 2003-> Oracle 10 g: fixed error of migration, SQL script

I recently migrated an Access 2003 to SQL using Oracle SQL developer Oracle database, and the process went well, with the exception of some migration errors.

The errors I had have largely brought on 3 main groups:

    (i) "doesn't have to convert' errors:
Failed to convert view Q345_Delete_NR > filename. Q345 - Delete NR: unexpected node in the AST: EXEC_PARAM_LIST: column of the row-1-1

    (II) 'limitation of translation mistakes:
Limitation of the translation "cannot convert to display" met on view filename. Q326 - update column of NA column_name line 0 0

    (III) "parse errors":
    oracle.dbtools.migration.parser.ext.ExtStringTemplate.setValue(ExtStringTemplate.java:106)

I know that these can be fixed, but I'm unable to understand what they mean. I would be grateful for some advice on what this means and how do I address to them.

Finally, I would like to watch the complete SQL script for the database migrated - please someone let me know how to consider this in a single sheet? I would like to create a stored procedure from this one.

    Thank you.

As you have an Oracle database you currently have support for this database and this is quite enough to save a service request for the SQL Migration Workbench developer.
Saving a service request will allow us to examine the migration of more detailed SQL Dev and then we can improve the product.

(The stored procedures, you need to manually extract the instructions in the script generated) that you intend to do) and then put it in a procedure.

  • Time machine access after a clean installation with different user name

    Hello

I did a clean install upgrade to El Capitan in Yosemite. I chose a user name. How can I connect my new account to the old Time Machine?

    thx for your help

    Rainer

Time Machine, please press the shift-command-C key combination. The windshield will show the mounted volumes. All snapshots should now be accessible. Select the one you want and search for files to restore.

If you need to restore from a backup of the hidden user library folder, first select a snapshot, and then press shift-command-G. A go to the folder dialog box opens. In this document, you enter the path to the folder. The dialog box will help you by automatically filling parts of the path when you start typing.

The path starts with the slash character ("/"). Enter that. The rest of the parts is separated by slashes.

The next part is the date and time of the current snapshot. Enter a '2', and the rest of the date should be filled in automatically. Press the right arrow key to access the end of the path. Enter a slash to start the next game.

Next is the volume name (usually "Macintosh HD" unless you assigned a different name.) Start typing, then jump to the end and enter a slash.

The next part is 'Users', followed by a slash.

Then is your short user name. It is also the name of your home folder, which is represented by an icon of the House in the sidebar of a Finder window.

Finally, enter "Library", and then press return. You should now be in the library folder. From there, you can move like in the Finder. You can also select another snapshot of the same folder.

  • Time Capsule access denied

    Hello.

After upgrading to os x 10.11, airport utility does not recognize the time capsule password so I can't access it and its hard drive.

    Can you help me?

    Thank you very much

Reset the TC factory and redo the installation.

No files are lost on the drive hard when you do this.

Here is my recommendation for installation in later operating system.

Start from a factory reset. No files are lost on the drive hard in doing so.

    Universal factory reset

Turning off the TC... That is, remove the power supply cord or the power at the wall outlet, wait 10 seconds... Hold the reset button... be nice... Turn on always even now in reset... and keep holding in for another 10 seconds. You may need assistance because it is difficult to hold in reset and power on. It will show the success quickly flashing led front. Release reset... and wait a few minutes for the TC to reset and return with the factory settings. If the front LED flashes quickly you missed and simply try again. The reset is quite fragile in these... Press the key while it is just click away and not more... I've seen people bend lever or even break. I use a toothpick as a tool.

NB. None of your files on the hard drive of the TC are removed... This simply clears the settings of the router of the TC.

    The installer the TC.

And then redo the configuration of the computer with the Mavericks - Yosemite - ElCapo. (MYELCAP)

    1. the use of very short names... NO APPLE RECOMMENDED names. Without the space and pure alphanumeric characters.

for example TCgen5 for the base station and the name of the TCwifi wireless.

If the problem is using wireless TC24ghz and TC5ghz with fixed channels as it also seems to help stop the nonsense. But it can be tried in the second round. IE, plan on a first and second series of changes to fix this... If all goes well... I note other steps can you tour2.

    2. use all passwords also consistent with 1. but maybe a little longer. IE 8 and 20 characters of mixed cases and numbers... no alphanumeric non-caracteres.

    3. If the TC is router, you can ignore this point. It is only a problem when the TC is bridged.

If ensure that the TC is always the same IP address... you will need to do this on the main router using a dhcp reservation... or a bit more complex setup by using the static IP address in the TC. But it's important for deriving from intellectual property in all directions when MYELCAP do not remember his name for 5 min after a reboot done for poor network management.

    4. check that your share on the computer name does not change... Make sure that it is also in line with the above... short without space and pure alphanumeric... but this change will mess up your TM backup... so be prepared to make a new, full backup. Sorry... keep this one for the second round, if you want to avoid a new backup.

5 attach the TC disc into the computer manually.

In Finder, go, connect to the server in the main menu,

Type in SMB://192.168.0.254 (or whatever ip of TC is that you made static. It's a default router 10.0.1.1 and I encourage people to stick with it unless you know what you're doing).

You can use the name... SMB://TCgen5.local where you replace TCgen5 with your name of TC... local is the default domain of the TC and does not change.

However the names are not so easy as... the IP address nor reliable. They are not at least not in Yosemite. The field can also be a problem if you are not clogged or wireless directly to the Treasury Board.

    6. ensure that IPv6 is set to link-local only in the computer. For example wireless open network, wireless and Advanced preferences / TCP/IP... and the difficulty of IPv6. link-local only. Do the same for the ethernet if you use it.

It is a lot more jiggery pokery, you can try, but the above is a good start... If you still find not reliable... don't be surprised.

You may need to do more work on the computer itself. for example, to reset the NVRAM/PRAM/SMC... helped some people. A clean installation of the operating system is also useful if you update installed.

  • On the Restriction of the time to access list

    Hello

    Nice day

I know that when I assigned a security level of 0 on the external interface means that I'm welcome all types of traffic between the inside and outside at any time without ACL applied to the inside interface. However, I need to control some users inside my local network to access to certain destinations at the moment. This means I need to increase my security level to 50 on the external interface in order to apply an ACL slot inside the interface?

    I'll appreciate your quick response.

    Kind regards

    Turbo

    Hi Turbo,

With no ACLs in use the PIX will allow traffic flows through one interface to another providing the source, the interface is of a higher security than the destination.

You mentioned that you will need to create an ACL on the outside - you should only do this if you want to accept incoming connections that are made from the external interface. This has always been the case for you if your outside security level is 0.

To create your ACL with a time interval, make sure your PIX clock is set to the correct time since it is the clock that the ACL allows action against their time slot.

After that, the commands you indicated above should create the ACL allowing http to 192.168.3.0/24 throughout the hour and the date in your message.

Are there error messages indicating when you attempt the connection?

    Ian
