• Still not solved: Dreamweaver insert HTML5 video option missing

  I just downloaded, installed and updated the CS6 Web/Design Premium. Dreamweaver, v.12 build 5861, also shows up-to-date with no update available.

  Yet, I do not see any HTML5 video option. Verified in Insert and Insert Media. This feature is available in the creative clouds?

  I followed similar questions on there is no HTML5 video option to insert sections. Did someone solved this problem?

• REINSTALL THE CS6 BRIDGE

  REF. Bridge CS6 (Photoshop CS6 independent) / Windows 7/64:

  Is it possible to reinstall the bridge without having to reinstall Photoshop?

  I "think" remind me on initial installation that there are choices about 32 vs 64-bit, Photoshop, Bridge, or both; but when I tried just the CS6 install disc, the only choice was photoshop.exe, which apparently installs "both."

  I do not want to reinstall Photoshop & have to redo all the preferences, plugin, etc.

  Hi Leigh,

  Yes, the only way to get installed bridge was to reinstall the full Photoshop program because there is no separate installer for Bridge CS6 and relocation does not affect preferences unless you choose the option to delete the preferences at the time of uninstall.

  And Photoshop CS6 Setup installs the 32-bit and 64-bit versions if you have a 64-bit computer.

  I'm building a website in Dreamweaver CS6 and I focused on two issues.

  I have a client who would like an introductory video, which is actually a discoloration of the quote in its logo as its initial home page. I exported as an mp4 and it last 8 seconds.

  It is very fast, but he does not want the controls at the bottom. Is there a way to do this? I did a lot of research, but it's all the contradictory and I cannot hide.

  -Some people say that you can not and why you want to.

  -Some say that it do not appear unless you add 16 pixels to the bottom of the video size.

  Honestly?  Video is not an optimal method for the presentation of animations.  Better use an animated GIF, or edge to animate the outputs to HTML5 canvas, CSS3 and JavaScript.

  Video & specifically HTML5 video, is destined to all that is why users need the player controls to interact with him.

  I can show you how to have a video service like a background layer, but for your application, it seems really exaggerated and & not quite what you need.

  Well I installed again the CS6 AE on my new SSD and the App manager I would like to update to this version, but would not update my original version on my existing drive... so fixed, but reinstall plugins etc

  If my company bought Adobe Production Premium CS6 about 2 years ago, and I was happy with CS6 first, Photoshop CS6, hearing, etc.

  Today, we got creative cloud and have memberships for all members of the creative team. I noticed that with the creative Cloud App toolbar, I am able to update my apps CS6 version, so I went ahead and upgraded CS6 first version 6.0.5.

  I know that can not open files created in first CC at the CS6. And it got me thinking.

  So, after buying Production Premium two years ago, my company and I have a license to this product, which is great. Creative cloud is on subscription, and we know all that if we finish this subscription, we lose access to creative Cloud and all applications to the breast.

  My question is: if I have updated first CS6 using the app toolbar from creative cloud thing, and if eventually we end our subscription to CC, first CS6 will disappear because it was technically updated through the toolbar CC app? He would return to a version prior to 6.0.5?

  In essence, my question is, is my lifetime subsequently license Production Premium CS6 assigned by my subscription to the CC? Put an end to my CC subscription would affect my apps installed somehow CS6? And even more my get all confused licenses upwards in the world of the Adobe authentication?

  No, you can always reinstall on adobe.com and then add your serial number to be back running.

  Yes, it will be 6.0. However, you can upgrade to 6.0.5 on adobe.com.

  No, just install them on adobe.com if you ever end a subscription to creative cloud.

  The buttons on the PlayBar to HTML5 is prioritized in the javascript code for Captivate - in CPM.js in the published course content.  The function in question is cp. PB.playBarConstruct.prototype.layoutPlaybar - I replaced this function before in order to establish an order of the various buttons, but it is necessary to examine the code to gain some understanding of what he does.  The code can be substituted in the javascript code for the playback bar to avoid changing the code base of Captivate directly, which is difficult as Adobe no longer provides access to as it is embedded in one of their DLL libraries until it is used in the edition.  Alternatively the code can be corrected, after publication.  It would be useful for Adobe to provide more free and/or documentation about some of this code to allow customers to more easily innovate project-specific improvements.  This became the case largely over the years with Flash, for example with open-sourcing a lot of actionscript libraries and automation using JSX/JSFL.  I hope to calm down the paranoia about competitors and they will realize that being more open is only used to make their products more attractive to developers.  Of course, I say that competition is not better in this regard.  Other things I've done using patch / replaces the time codes of AS3 PlayBar and the HTML5 playback bar are:

  -Added extra buttons

  -Modification of the functionality of the existing buttons

  -Modification of the functionality of the table of contents, for example customization how/when bookmarking occurs - currently a slide gets a bookmark in and out it by default simply

  -Customization of TOC layout page/positioning, for example below the high on vs

  -Customization of the interaction between the playback mode and table of contents, for example the table of contents of closing when the course is in a playback mode, stopping to play the opening of the table of contents and restore when closed, etc.

  -Added disabled States and turning on and off of the taskbar buttons reading based on the State of the course, for example not allowing 'Next' until a slide was seen until the end

  -Fixed the rendering problems of animation in the HTML5 playback, such as issuing endemic where if a blade is cleaned back or rewound after that certain animations have been read and in some cases no matter, there are glitches and glimmers of images to animation in reports incorrect at the beginning of each element animation causing very distracting Visual effects.

  -Adding features to stocks advanced/variables in Captivate.

  I have many customers who have very specific needs and expect professional results, requiring these types of changes if a tool like Captivate should be used.  Customers are more willing to have the developers to use these tools rather than what I've done traditionally with custom Flash and HTML5-coded course.  This always requires a certain custom coding, however most can be developed in Captivate with a few patches applied in the edition.

  I am reluctant to publish these patches, they are a bit specific version Captivate, but many of the so-called widgets are also very specific version.

• Problem with the output of HTML5 video

  Hi, I have this course that I build. I need to insert several videos. 1 per slide. I managed to insert the .mp4 videos and when I export out of HTML5, the first video works fine. While all the other videos does not work. I just hear the sound but can't see the video. Also, if I go back to the first video that was working, it does not yet appear, but I can hear the audio.

  As soon as you have more than 1 video in the project, the first works well the first time that you see, and then if you go back, you hear only the audio, not the images. All other videos in the project does not appear, but you can still hear the audio.

  I use the latest version of Captivate 6, exit to HTML5.

• How do I anchor the panels so they move when the CS6 is moved?

  I often change the CS6 back and forth between my two monitors. However, even if the signs on the right are tied together and I can move then as a group, I can't stay with the application when I move to the other screen. For example, when I move the CS6 my screen right panels remain in the left blocking the part of demand, I opened (for example, Outlook, etc.). Is it possible to get them to stay with CS6, I have move to the other screen? Thanks in advance for any help offered.

  Looks like your Panel has not been locked.

  Can click you on "Essentials" (workspace pulldown) of the upper right of your screen > Reset "Essentials" to see if it snaps the panels into place?

  Because your tools Panel seems to be anchored and intact with your main frame of the application.

  First of all, the CS6 update won't work on CS5 software.

  Secondly, there is no need to place the order for any update.

  You can talk about the upgrade of CS5 CS6, if so, then your order has been processed and checked how to change your browser, and then downlaoading it.

• Cannot install the CS6 first

  I tried for about 4 hours now to install the Premiere Pro trial for a project that I took which has been previously modified with first.  The thing is, I had it installed earlier with about 12 days, the trial has left and I decided to take a look at the version CS6 to After Effects to the rest of the Production, given that I'll probably buy the suite instead of the standalone program.  Foolishly perhaps, I uninstalled first so that I could run the installation of own Production, but now I'm flooded with errors during the installation of the first, and he said: it could not be successfully installed.  I have re downloaded installer 5 different times in 5 different places between 2 hard drives, but nothing seems to work.

  My first hurdle was that whenever I had an error in checksum not valid whenever I finished downloading from the Download Manager.  I disabled the checksum to check in disk utility and exceeded that.  Then, everything seems to go well with the installation until the end, when I would get the error message.  Looking at the papers, I'd always get an Exit Code: 6 error.  I tried several solutions of removing fonts, just uninstall and restart using the cs6 cleaner and reboot, the installation in safe mode, install from another admin account, trashing preferences, delete the entire folder of fonts, deleting all files adobe, what I found in these forums, but nothing worked.  My current error log is:

  It seems to me, the question has to do with permissions, but I'm not sure.  My mistakes until I trashed my preferences involved fonts and languages as well packs.  I do not have these problems with my first installation, I don't understand why I have them now.  I also tried to reinstall the first with the stand-alone installation as I did originally, and that no longer works.  Install the same files on my laptop, so I don't think it's a problem, the installation files, but I don't know what it could be.  Someone at - it any other suggestions?

  I had to download the European link.  All US links are bad and I average in all areas, because I tried first, Production Suite, and Master Collection and all do not have the checksum and all installation failure.  Mirrors of Europe worked.  It was without enabling the root user or running one of the other suggested solutions that I met, it worked just as it was assumed for the first time. I don't know if that necessarily means, these files are bad, but there must be some sort of incompatibility between these files and some machines because I have met many with the same problem.  I hope study.

• The CS6 road show is useful?

  I think make the long drive in Chicago 21 for CS6 Adobe traveling show. Someone here has a report of first cities on the trek: New York, Orlando, DC, Atlanta?  It's basically a presentation of NAB-type sales pitch?  I wasn't there this year, but have already purchased the upgrade of the CS6, just have not had the chance to load it again.  BTW, deep dive training is not available in Chicago the isn't a factor for me, if this can be for the people of THE region.

  It is not a demo of the sales pitch total, there are some quite useful info and is not a bad opportunity to the institutions in the network.

  I will tell of all Adobe presentations/tours/etc that I've ever seen, it was impressive. I had a short drive to the ATL event. For people who are NEW or Adobe Premiere Pro, it is probably more useful. For people who are already in the boat of Adobe, not quite as valuable.

  Limited partners are quite good, nice opportunity to discuss these guys (G-Raid, Maxon, RED, AJA, etc.). The promoters who personally, I wanted to stop and chat with, however, was Blackmagic Design, and they were a no-show at the Atlanta stop, so it's been a big disappointment.

  The thing is, it's the 'official' event Adobe CS6 (production) in the heart of the city (on the campus of Georgia Tech... ideally located, but for this UGA grad, I am obliged to say that it was a terrible choice of locations... :))). It is about as central in the Atlanta area you can get. Yet, just a month ago, there was a capacity crowd of 300 + in one of the other suburbs of Atlanta in a community college, and the whole show seemed more intense, much more in depth, all that jazz. There are 6 or 8 representatives from Adobe on the event and only 2 in the event of the tour.

  So who knows... it could have been just a specific Atlanta bummer (believe me, these Adobe people have practically camped at Turner and CNN for more than a year to grab their seats 800 + publishers of FCP and Avid... they love certainly the crowd in Atlanta). For you, if it comes to the single visit to Adobe in Chicago, it might be worth it just for times of face with the guys from Adobe, if that is any value for you.
