Laptop HP 431 - deleted this partition containing the built-in operating system windows 7

Dear Sir.

Manufacturer had given integrated windows 7 operating system that start by pressing F11 at startup.

At the time of the installation of external operating system through DVD, I unfortunately, by mistake I have deleted all the partition, I think, I deleted this partition containing BONES embedded in the hard drive.

Now, I'm ready to install the operating system integrated by pressing F11, but it works not.

Please give me a directive, how can I install integrated windows 7 operating system just like previous from by pressing F11 at startup.

Kind regards

Yogesh Sonar

What is the purpose behind the sale of operating system preinstalled on laptops? You try to save 1 cost of DVDs?  I either have to use my recovery DVDs (which is full of junk btw) do more DVD and disk space or try to look for OEM copies or other sources of torrent which contains mostly horses virus/Trojan etc... Im sure even download it costs you and me in terms of bandwidth internet. I paid for it and I want to do a clean install of it whenever I want.

    Original title: A Simple Question

Versions OEM Windows 7 that are pre-installed on new computers laptops or desktop computers is significantly cheaper than commercial versions. Because manufacturers buy Windows licenses in bulk, it offers the flexibility to offer more affordable way for consumer Windows.

Imagine paying $300 to $ 50 on this new PC? In fact, the OEM might pay $50 for the license, but likely to be practiced only $25 for the consumer.

    Hello

    Yes; It's normal.

In addition to the original operating system, you have updates, restore points of the system (set at 15% of the capacity of the hard drive) etc, etc.

    It will continue to grow.

If you are worried about anything whatsoever, do a disk cleanup.

See the other answer (s) you got but also note the following: the first thing to do is to ensure that there is no CD or DVD in the drive. If it and try to boot from it, you would probably get such a message.
If there is not, there is a good chance that the hard drive is dead and must be replaced.

  • What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7?

What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7? I want to remove the icon from the task bar (toolbar in the lower right corner of the screen) that I never use it.

Picardjc wrote that "Digital imaging monitor is part of the HP software that communicates with your HP printer. This program allows to read the inklevels, get an out of paper message, scan from the device to the computer and so on. It is not necessary, but it will restrict the use of printers if you delete. "Understood. But for my printer HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809a, what is the purpose of having the digital imaging monitor icon in the taskbar Windows7 sp1 of the Notification area (aka system tray)? My A809a is NOT an all-in-one that includes a scanner; It is simply a very good printer. When I start to print something, if you need ink or paper, that information is displayed on the screen of my computer. So I ask again: why is the icon of monitor digital imaging on the taskbar? I clicked on at the time of this icon (I not print anything, but as usual, the printer is turned on), and nothing happened. R.N. (Roger) Folsom _ P.S. below I'll post some other discussions (with links to their locations) of the digital imaging monitor, I discovered before finding this site on which I am writing. There are a variety of opinions on what makes the digital imaging monitor. HP Digital Imaging Monitor is for HP director system tray access. This is necessary if you want to use the buttons of all-in-one on a HP printer all in one to scan documents or transfer photos from a camera manually. Closing the icon monitor HP digital imaging in the Windows system tray can cause the HP all-in-one to lose part of its scanning features and not the connection error message. In this case, you can restore all functionality by restarting the computer or by starting the HP digital imaging monitor. [Edited] 03/08/2011 14:05 - edited? 03/08/2011 14:08 Yes, it is safe to remove. In my view, it is usually in the program group under start / all programs / startup. Simply navigate under the Start button, right-click on it and delete! If it is not there, then remove it from the registry: run regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and delete it from the list in the right pane. If she is not there, then try hkey_current_user\\software\\microsoft\\windows\\currentversion\\run it's better than using msconfig and uncheck it. In my opinion, msconfig must always be set to Normal startup. Your printer will always print without that annoying obstructive utility called Digital Imaging Monitor. Ciao! I have a problem during the installation of operating system from the recovery disk (Win XP Media Center Edition).

After reading this message and pressing a computer key restarts and that's all that happens.

That's happened? I don't understand what is the reason for this problem. I was reinstall another OS (the drive recovery too) often earlier and everything was OK.

  • LabWindows 4.0 is compatible with the 64-bit operating system?

I have a very old code CVI for PCI 6030th, who works on a 32-bit windows xp computer. The PCI card has been installed recently on a new computer that has a 64-bit windows 7 on it. The code does not work on the new pc. I was told that 6030th PCI can be performed by a virtual pc, so the only option would be to partition the HARD drive and install windows xp. CVI 4.0 code runs on a 64-bit operating system? I guess that the drivers may not be compatible. If not, is there a way to run the old code on a new version of labwindows cvi without having to rewrite it completely?

    Thank you!

    Sikora

    Hi Sikora,

I don't think you'll be in too much luck. I'm assuming that your code has probably been covering on your PCI device 6030th using traditional DAQ, which is not supported on the operating systems Windows 7. You might go to NOR-DAQmx 9.1.1, that is supported on Windows 7, but this will require you to rewrite your code to convert into orders DAQmx.

    Hello

Depends on hardware configuration required on later operating systems, and also find out if the manufacturer of the laptop computer is supported and provides drivers for operating systems later as to whether it is possible or feasible to upgrade or not.

There is no free upgrade Vista to 7, 8.1, or 10.

Follow these steps before you buy Windows 7.

Microsoft sells more than 7; Try Amazon.com.

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

    Hi Johanna,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you can not use the USB in Windows 7.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I will definitely help you with this

    1. you get any error message?

2 have you tried using different USB ports?

    3. any other USB key works on the computer in question?

    4. do the USB works on any other computer?

5 have had any changes made to the computer before the show?

    Please follow the methods.

    Method 1:

Run the Microsoft fixit for the link.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/en-us

    Method 2:

As all devices have same also have USB device associated drivers. Appropriate sometimes drivers not detected after initial installation so reinstalling the drivers can fix the problems.

You can check after uninstalling and reinstalling USB drivers if you are able to connect. You can disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:

    (a) click Startand then click Control Panel.

    (b) click system and Maintenance, click System, and then click Device Manager.

    (c) Note if the control panel is in Classic view, double-click Systemand then click on Device Manager.

    (d) If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

    (e) in Device Manager, double-click to expand the "USB Bus controllers", right click on the controller host, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".
Check that if at all, there is an exclamation point on the pilot, it suggests problems with the installed driver.

    (f) repeat step 2 to uninstall all items under 'USB Bus controllers'.

Then, restart your computer and Windows 7 will automatically reinstall all USB controllers.

We would be more than happy to help you if the steps above did not solve the problem.
