    Herb, welcome to the forum.

I don't think that you can move the recovery partition of the USB hard disk.  The D: partition is restored when you perform a recovery of the system using the USB drive, however.

    Thank you very much

    Hello:

    You need these drivers...

Everything first, do a right click on the realtek ethernet controller, select uninstall, select uninstall driver, restart, and install that driver...

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136:

This package contains the Realtek driver local area network (LAN) that allows the NIC (NIC) Realtek chip in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported.

    File name: sp68120.exe

    (USB) Universal Serial Bus controller:

This package provides the driver for the Intel USB 3.0 controller host for the notebook models and operating systems. The driver allows USB 3.0 devices.

    File name: sp68928.exe

    ACPI\HPQ6007:

This package provides the HP 3D Driveguard software (HP ProtectSmart hard drive Protection) for the laptop models running a supported operating system. HP 3D Driveguard protects the hard drive by parking the heads, if cell phone accidentally falls, or is suddenly struck by another object.

    File name: sp67280.exe

    Nice day

I use a Samsung 3 series laptop and I recently accidentally deleted my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I tried redownloading the file ISO - hoping that this product key in my laptop, like what I've read of answers.microsoft, is OK to reinstall from. Now, as I enter my product key, I am invited by

The product key you have entered seems to be for software pre-installed by the manufacturer of the device. Contact the manufacturer of the device for soft recovery options.

What is the best thing to do? Does this mean that I'm not able to reinstall Windows 7 using the product under my laptop key?

    Thank you very much

Use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem.  To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore.  Click on the box that says show more restore points.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.

    Here you go:

    1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
    4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
    5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
    6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    7. Configure Windows to a point before you deleted the admin account.
    8. Plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key.
