  Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

• I tried several ways to delete the cookies listed in options and nothing works to get rid of them.

  I tried all methods to remove cookies that are available on your support site. I have tried them if the choice in the Options is for authorized cookies and cookies not allowed. Also with 3rd party cookies allowed and not allowed. Normally, I fixed it to authorized cookies but 3rd cookies of third parties not allowed.
  I tried CCleaner, cleaner, cleaner Auglogics Euslings, Wise Cleaner, SuperAntiSpyware, Spybot, and WinPatrol and remove temporary files in Windows. All that the software deletes the cookies. I also Spyblaster to protect against hundreds of tracking cookies. It was SuperAntiSpyware who brought the problem to my attention in the first place. It just started doing this a few weeks ago but only the past several days I've worked hard to get these deleted cookies. There must be hundreds of them. I managed to remove about 5 or 6 of them, but others did not move. I want to clean up everything to start over and analyze them on a daily basis. I don't want most of them. SuperAntiSpyware claims it deletes them but when I go to Options in the browser, they are still there. SuperAntiSpyware claims that cookies are there whenever I run the program before you shut down the computer.
  I just added that convenience store and looked at the information. I'm sorry but I'm not understand anything. I'm not savvy in computer science.

  No, Shawns response suggested to go to the C:\users\myname\contacts file and delete it from there. I had tried before when I tried to locate the list of contacts somewhere outside Mail (sorry I forgot to mention that). But the contacts Vista file did not show this 'hidden contact' either. But further down the page, I found an answer to a similar problem. Gary van in reply to "re: delete contacts autocomplété" gave this link.

  This leads to a file called winmailmru.zip. This tool allowed me to bring up a window showing ALL the contacts which it previously 'hidden', with options to remove them. I selected and deleted. Problem solved.
   
  But I still wonder: where was hiding the contact "hidden"? If it wasn't not in Contacts of Vista directory where Mail was from?  How this winmailmru.exe utility it found? It is also strange that the contact in question seems to have the ability to bypass the selection popup box that shows generally all other contacts beginning with the letter typed and force his way into the 'To' box, excluding the possibility of chooseing another contact. I am happy that my immediate problem is solved, but I wonder if the ability of a person sending a mail to 'hide' a normal contact and overide process in Mail is a security problem or just a nuisence? Instead the contact appear to be displayed in activity date and/or time, and then by order of name. Example, I got a list of contacts 25 in sequence pell-mell, when I changed a piece of dat and found that the contact has changed is now at the top of the list! I changed a contact who should appear above this on and also, he went to the top of the list. In this way, I got the entire list in order. I then saw a mistake on one and corrected these contact data. This time went to the top of the list!

  Try this, open contacts app. Now click the Menu-> display options, and then press your Gmail account. That should have given you a list of groups that you can check to be able to display in your list of contacts. If you scroll down, you should see one called all other contacts. Check that one and then tap done and back to back to your list and see if these contacts is now displayed. I hope this helps.

  Unsolicited or unauthorized names have been added to my list of 'People' Hotmail that I'm unable to remove. When I write a message and go to my contact list, at the end there are three 'contacts' that I haven't added and cannot remove: DrunkGirlRoom, HornyGirlHere, friends.  I see where other people have reported the same problem with the same names added and were not able to find the answers.  I want to remove the names of these unwanted and also want Microsoft to provide a fix to Hotmail where they can't be added.  These names do not appear in the list of contacts except when you click on 'To' and 'People' list when sending mail, where they appear at the end of the list.  Please answer.
