  I solved this problem by clicking the 3 horizontal bars (open the Menu) at the top right of the screen, then clicking on "Menu bar" in the options presented. All of a sudden my bar of task and the toolbar appears on the screen and remained.

  Found a solution:

  Go in Subject: config and change plugins.load_appdir_plugins from false to true. Apparently FF21 assigns the value false by default causing it to not detect plug-ins installed in this way.

  Hi, for reasons of security, 41 of Firefox, you must use an add-on like tab override (browser.newtab.url replacement), to make changes to the page tab.

  Once installed, open the Add-ons (Ctrl + Shift + A) Manager > Extensions, and then look for the new tab override and click Options to set your preference.

  Note, if you want only the new tab to be the same as your home page, you can use the Add on new tab homepage instead.

  The Add-on from Yahoo toolbar has been updated on December 29, 2015. The latest version of the Yahoo toolbar solves a problem in 43 Firefox that caused the toolbar become invalid.

  I manage a website (melissachappell.com), which features articles in pdf in an iframe in the html page. After the last update (08/07/2015) PDF is now downloading from my download folder instead of opening on the page as expected.   an option may be to tackle this particular update for now until there is a fix from microsoft or you could also look at if there is a graphics driver update available on the Web site of the seller (intel/amd/nvidia) which could also be solved this problem in some cases.
