  You are on El capitan? El capitan is sometimes extremely slow to show you when you have added a file to a folder. This is probably, but it is simply not yet show it to you. Close finder window and reopening could realize it's there. I also noticed that list of files on the command line will make these files appear suddenly in the finder.

• Distorted in the latest Version of Lightroom - confused images

  I use the latest version of Lightroom CC via Creative Cloud. Records that I haven't looked for a long time, I see the images in preview of the library that are grossly deformed: banding, color blocks, overlays of color in some parts or all of the images. The images are not Camera Raw files. They are jpg and psd files. It is not all the files in any folder, just a few. When I open them in Photoshop, Bridge, or the develop module, they are totally fine and shows no distortions I see in Lightroom. The same is true if I saw them in the viewfinder. If I go back to the library, without making any changes, I still see the distortions. If I make a small change to develop, and then go back, the problem goes away. I use the latest version of the software for my OS [do all the updates without delay]. No problem in 2015 CC Photoshop or Illustrator CC 2015. I use a 27 "iMac with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 M 4096 MB graphics card.

  I wonder if, somehow, a CF card has been corrupted so that in my camera. I'm able to fix older photos, so it isn't a horrible problem.

  It is possible that your preview file is corrupt. You can try to rename your file previews so that Lightroom creates new insights and see if that solves the problem.

  Looks like your destination folder does not have a full read and write permissions.

  Try to set the destination as a specific folder that contains all the permissions on your local or external drive, then, check.

  You can run the latest version of iTunes for your version of Windows, but you are not running the latest version of iTunes is available and it's iTunes 12.3. You must run Windows 7 at least. I'm not a Windows user, but I think 7 is newer than XP.

• When you import images into the latest version of Lightroom CC why all my images become black so there's nothing to see?

  I tried to import by different methods.  I created an external file on my hard drive and put the RAW images in there and asked Lightroom to import from there.  I also simply asked Lightroom to import directly from the card to the camera.

  In both cases, I see the images on my screen but then one by one, they are converted to an image blackened with nothing at all.

  I tried to put pictures in development but that makes no difference, even using the adjustment sliders.

  I tried to export images from Lightroom in Photoshop CC.  There, I have a very dark version of the image.  While I suppose I could change it, I have no idea what the image before hand that I simply export a black image.

  This happened only since I've upgraded to the new version of Lightroom on CC.  Before that, I had no problem and went through the laborious effort of crating a new catalogue over 25,000 images... maybe it's a very small number of images in actual value, but for me it's a great thing.

  Try this

  • Open Lightroom
  • Go to preferences - Presets and uncheck apply the automatic adjustment of the note
  • Restart LR
  • Now import images and see if it works

  Did you check https://assets.adobe.com to see if your libraries are always there?

• Latest version is not print a PDF file, doesn't say "no selected to print the pages ' if I choose 'All' or 'Page 1 - N".

  I have installed and reinstalled the latest version of Adobe Reader at least two times, but I still get the same problem - I cannot print PDF on paper using my local printer.

  Additional information that might be useful:

  * The printer is connected and tested, and engravings from other programs like MS Word.

  * I can print from Adobe Reader PDF format using a program like BullZIP, but is obviously not useful.

  * I tested several PDF files, I see that's not the type of PDF (if it contains macros or fields or other).

  * The exact error messages are 'the document could not be printed' and "There is no pages selected to print" in two separate areas of popup.

  These two options help in most cases; Open Adobe Reader | Change | Preferences

  • under protection (strengthened), disable the Protected Mode
  • under Documents, change documents in Mode/a: Never

• Lightroom automatically selects two images!

  Since a couple how weeks Lightroom started to automatically select a second image every time that I have select a band (library or develop module). The second selected image gets a point on the upper right of the thumbnail. If I try to deselect them all (Ctrl + D), after a few moments it automatically selects two images! What is c?

  I tried to update to Lightroom 5.7 but the problem is still there.

  could have activated the function Compare on a second monitor (that you have or do not have). If this is the case, Lightroom will always select two photos to compare. Click SHIFT + C to disable the comparison function, select a photo and see if Lightroom will select always two photos (usually not).
