• How to change the parameter default slot 'Style layer'-'Stroke '?

  Whenever I use "Layer Style"-> "Stroke", the default value is always red for 'Color' and 3.0 for the 'size '.  I would like to change the size and the color by default, so that I don't have the change of these parameters each time that I use "Style of layer"-> "Stroke".  Anyone know how to change the default settings?  Thanks in advance.

  Preset animations are the way to go. I have a library of more than 200 that I created to speed to the top of my work. Learn how to create them and use them by typing "create a preset" in the search help field in the upper right corner of the AE and dig through the resources you will find.   Hi all

  I can't get my open race to merge and to follow in the footsteps of the layer mask to my KF - ing form.

  I am creating lashes on the eyelid (using repeaters), and I want this line opened repeated for follow the 'blink' on the cover. Please if you would let me know what I need to do in order to get the eyelashes (open race) to merge with the outline of the shape layer and follow his animation of a wink.   Who will help you get started. I just drew less people and then added several lashes with the pen tool. All roads comprised the drugs under the embankment for path 1, the eyelid. • Great features (layer effect) uneven corners

  Hi all

  I use Photoshop CS6, but I have the confirmation that this happens on CS4, CS5 and CS5.1 too.

  When I create a form (a simple triangle or that, using the tools of various forms), and then apply a large layer of outline effect (40px) him, the corners of the race are not smooth - they entered/jagged. There is a screenshot of what happens here: http://img.ly/images/4424013/full

  

  Note how the corners of the race are not perfectly curved, but are made up of straight lines visible. The document that you see is viewed at 100%, in the way. The race is set outdoors, and is 40px in size.

  I am aware of the new native traits for the vector shapes in CS6 and they do not have the problem, but in a certain project, I need to combine both the native vector features, but also the STROKE layer effect, so I can't just use the native traits instead.

  I also know that I could use a smart Illustrator object with a line pre applied, but which is not address whether or not this behavior in Photoshop is broken.

  It has been suggested, for me, that this problem arises because Photoshop applies the effect layer outline in the bitmap of the layer, not to the vector shape itself, and that is why the problem persisted for several versions of CS.

  Is this considered a bug? Is this likely to go away? Is there a workaround solution, knowing that I need to use two native vector lines and the effect of layer STROKE on a layer?

  1. I used the pen tool to trace the path your sine curve (open).

  2. I then selected a Brush tool and stroked path using the icon right at the bottom of the path Panel - it could be any brush style/color you want.

  3. I then did a for the light gray outer glow layer style.

  We should be able to minimize artifacts by the presence of a larger pixel count document.

  PS: what might worry more than the slight deepening top/bottom-outside is the sharp object inside top/bottom-of the sinusoidal race.

• fade in the text with layer styles

  I try to have the letters in a Word to fade slowly upward. I have the layer text, added a few styles of layer (stroke, bevel, shadow) and then to apply the preset animation / text / animate in / fade up by letter.  However, which fades to the top are the styles first for each letter. The first appearance of each letter is the color of the outline, and then other styles are added slowly until the end of each letter.  I want each completed letter to fade slowly upward. I couldn't find any setting of host who could achieve.  Any ideas?

  I think the only thing that is causing problems is the race. Try adding the race using the palette of characters instead of the layer styles. Now, if you simply add a host of opacity for the text layer, set the opacity to 0 and animate the range selector you should have what you want.

• Monoweight line on Spinning Globe - need help

  Hey guys, first time poster here. I used cc sphere effect to create this world of spinning. I used a card I had described in Illustrator and imported in. Of course the same effect that makes the continents appear larger and smaller rotating, makes lines appear thicker and more particularly on the studs and edges. I would like to than the contour of continents to stay monoweight in rotation. Is this possible? Does anyone have a solution for this?

  2. in the master comp I add the CC sphere and set it outside

  

  Now, I have this:

  

  3 Add the style layer of stroke (right-click-> layer-> stroke styles brain) and set it to black. now, I have this:

  

  4 duplicate the precomp and this time the value of the CC sphere "Inside" instead of "Outside" and ensure that it is less than the previous precomp. now, I got this:

  

  5. create a solid white and add the sphere cc too, with the contour layer style;

  

  Now all I have to do is set the Y rotation key-frames to match inside and outside sphere and get paid.

• In CC, why can I no longer use select/Modify/contract after selecting all?

  I using CS3 and I am now on CC.
  I tried to use the border option then the opposite, but it is a stopgap.

  This was the address in the past.  You can solve this problem by using other methods.  Select all, Selet > transform selection. or add a blank layer STROKE select it all internal selection the number of pixels you want to contract the selection.  Select the transparency of the layer outline, then invert the selection.

• 6248 and several upstream layer 2 networks

  I have two questions:

  1. the 6248 supports SFP as a GLC - T?

  2. I am aware that the 6428 support two areas upstream layer 2 by sucking some VLANs for groups of ports that are attached to the different areas of layer 2, but this principle relate to more?  If I were to have a third group of ports for a third layer 2 domain and pin a subset of my VLAN to each port group?

• New line for the style "Stroke" layer options

  Hello

  The new race options are fantastic where you can change the gaps, align and in corners. And I like the ability to add layer styles to groups which makes it much easier to work with the parties separated in a group that should be treated as a common object.

  BUT! Why is it you have not updated the options (layer style) of race to include these new features impressive stroke? I'd love to be able to make the dotted as a layer style that can be applied to groups, and I don't see why this should be excluded as an option.

  Note: A shape layer is a vector stroke and applies only to shape layers. It's very different from the run of syle of layer.

  You can control the settings for this feature in the options bar to vector tools (shape, pen, path selection, direct selection). This race is an attribute of the shape layer and will not cause the fx icon display on the layer in the layers panel.

  A stroke layer style is a stroke pixel-based and can be applied to any layer that accepts styles of layers (including shape layers). The settings for this race are controlled via the Layer Styles dialog box.

• Add a stroke on a layer by itself?

  I have an image and doesn't emphasize only one part of it (I'm an educator). I know how to create an edge effect (draw a selection rectangle and select the outline in the Edit menu), but he puts it directly on the image. I don't want to do that. I want to be able to move the stroke autour object and apply a shadow to this topic. But, when I tried to create a line on a new layer, nothing happens. I can create it easily in Skitch, but how do you do this in Photoshop?

  But you can draw a Christmas selection.  Reading of the OP I'm not quite sure what is the problem.  Amy, you are saying that you are using a new layer to apply the stroke, that should work fine.  Make your selection, click the new blank layer and caress.  You can then double-click the layer to add layer like shadows etc styles and move (provided that it is not locked)

  I think the only problem you might encounter is the eccentric way Illustrator allows groups inside the CompoundPaths.  Crazy, no, because CompoundPathItem is not a property GroupShapes or PageItems, if you can get them using the method above.  In fact, it can get stuck in an infinite loop when it is like that!
  Really, this problem must be pretty RARE because nobody should be groups into transparent paths.  But for safety it is best connected the ETSK, then you can stop debugging, if such a problem occurs.  You can also build a security counter to get out you of the loop.  What a freak!

• STROKE opacity layer does not

  In the image below on the largest item, I have a stroke with 0% opacity but as you can see is white it should be transparent?  I even changed the blending mode to multiply and the line of white color the rest.  What's wrong?  I set the opacity to 0% to test if something was wrong and this confirms.

  

  OK I've updated Photoshop CS6 version 13.0.1 and it still does not work.  Can someone help me solve this problem?

  I realized it's the white background that is the cause.  I set time to 'internal' well, then, what is the problem?

• Layer Style STROKE Pixel Bug?

  I found at random times when I draw a rectangle with the rectangle tool and then use style layer to a 1 pixel border, the border may have a fade on each side of that 1 pixel and it became 2 pixels.  It does not appear on all four sides, just randomly left, right, up, down...

  To better illustrate the problem, I have attached an image and it has zoomed in to show the problem... You see how left and down is 1 pixel but not top and right?  It is strange and never arrived in CS4... I'm using CS5 passing... Someone at - he experienced this?

  

  You must check the alignment of the pixels in the rectangle shape tool options:

  

• With 1px STROKE wierdness shape layer

  I'm puzzled as to why this is happening...  I'm simply creating a new shape with the rectangle tool layer rounded (this happens with the rectangle tool as well) and apply a px line 1 towards the outside edge via the menu style layer.  What is strange, is that I'm really 2 pixels on the edge.  This also happens when I change the position of the race to be centered and inside.

  I tried this same action on another machine and I can recreate the same question, BUT I can also create a 1px line perfect on this machine, but not on my main computer.  Everyone knows about this problem?  Is this a bug or is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?

  With the rounded rectangle tool selected, click on the menu bar drop-down options tool and select the snap to pixel option. What you see, is the anti-aliasing of the form that he sit not aligned to the pixel grid.
