layer to Illustrator of EI in the swf format is presented as bitmap

Hello

I just started to wear ae projects in flash using swf (and I don't know ANYTHING about flash).

I am able to do all my text in flash as vectors, but I have a layer of illustrator in my ae project and regardless of what I do, when I do the SWF in flash, Illustrator layer is a bitmap, not vectorized.  What is dill.

You have applied a secondary function (mask, effect) to that imposes the pixelation or start with a file I who already has such a combination in there that would cause the flattening (mask, direct pixel effects like clipping shadows etc.). More information here.

  • Cannot export to the SWF format

    Hello world

    I'm trying to export in AE video to SWF format.  According to the media, I should be able to go to file/export/Adobe Flash Player.  However I do not get this option, only the following:

    -Media encoding

    -Treatment of queue (not sure how is the English translation. In Spanish "fair cola")

    -Cinema 4 d

    -Adobe first.

    Can someone tell me why?  How can I proceed?

    Thank you all. Kind regards

    Export SWF was removed after effects CC 2014 (13.0). If you want to export a SWF from After Effects, you can use after effects CC (12.2.1) or earlier to do it, but keep in mind that the reason that we removed this feature is because it wasn't useful. You should create SWF files in Flash Professional, and not in After Effects. If you want to read a movie you made in After Effects to Flash Player, then create the film in the format .mp4 with Adobe Media Encoder.

  • How to add reflection to the SWF format?

    I created a slide show SWF in Flash and incorporated it into my Web page. But now I want to think below himself and fade out gradually as I've seen in countless other Web sites. I asked how to do Flash in the forum but got no response. (And for some reason, as of today, 06/03/12, I can no longer post anything in the Flash Pro forum). But let's not dwell on it. How can I reflect a SWF?

    To take into account what in the .swf, you must create the reflection as part of the .swf.

    So to increase the dimensions of the Flash doc by some number of pixels, you want to be considered part.

    Then you must create the reflection as part of the original image, so it has a half top.. normal image, then also a bottom half or bottom 1/3 or more.

    And reflection is normally at an angle, I suggest that you create this as a .png, because you might have part of the picture will overlap the next image in the slideshow and that this part of overlap to be transparent.

    If you have your original... then flip or mirror image that right down below all at the bottom of the original. Then tilt the lower part slightly to imitate a reflection...

    Now, we have identical images. but inside we went upside down... put the top mirror.

    Then apply a gradient mask that fade to 100% opaque at 100% transparent.

    Also I suggest that create you outside of Flash images... but if you need to, you can also do this in Flash... the principles are the same.

    Ton of tutorials... just Google "Photoshop mirror"... it's just a:

    http://www.designfreebies.org/design-tutorials/Photoshop-tutorials/Photoshop-tutorial-Simp the-and-easy-mirror-reflection.

    So this isn't a procedure of actionscript, this is a physical process, create the reflection in the process image.

  • Pass the info on to the SWF format in another browser window?

    I need to be able to pass information to a SWF open in another browser window.

    This is the ideal configuration:
    -L' user runs a script in a new window
    -This script detects a window already open with the specified name (I give a name to the SWF window using javascript)
    -The script, then sends the information to the SWF open and close the current window, passing the focus to the window of the SWF file

    That's how I want it to work, but I don't know how (or even if) I can pass information to an already open SWF.

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    ~ Plystire

    JavaScript in html page can only control windows opened by javascript in the page.  I don't see php being any help with this.

    because it is a flash forum I assumed that both your pages embedded swf files.  If only it incorporates a swf file, you cannot use localconnection and you must work within the limits of the sentence 1.

  • Continue button works only for publication in the swf format

    I created a quiz in Captivate and my options for success/failure in opening a URL on success.  I need to publish in flash (swf), but the button continue does not open the URL.  This works perfectly if I publish the file to .exe format.

    Here are my current settings (I traded my URL to the Web site of the BBC, while testing)

    Capture.PNG

    I use version 5.5

    Can anyone help?

    Have you set up the location of publication record as a location approved in your Flash Global security settings?  Otherwise, Google for information on how to do it.  This is probably the reason why your link does not work.

  • Pass data to the swf format.

    Hello

    I would spend my SWF file in an amount of data (text).

    • Is there a limit? I don't speak of thousands of characters
    • I know the simple way of file.swf? data = "mydata"
      but I know that you can transmit data via 'flash vars', when you embed the file in HTML (object <>...
      How to pass the data in this way? Is it's better to simply read from a text file?

    Thank you!

    Gunto

    var sendLV:LoadVars = new LoadVars();

    var receiveLV:LoadVars = new LoadVars();

    {receiveLV.onData = function (src)}

    trace (SRC);

    }

    If you send data to the executable file:

    sendLV.data1var = "whatever";

    sendLV.data2var = "whatever" another;

    etc.

    //

    sendLV.sendAndLoad (sometextfileorexecutable, receiveLV, "POST");

  • [JavaScript] Find the visible boundaries of a layer in Illustrator

    Hi people,

    A similar question has been asked before, but I ask a much simplified version of it:

    "Is there a way to determine the visible boundaries of a layer in Illustrator CS5 +?

    I ask because I'm trying to export layers with their contact information at the top left in an XML file.  I have the XML export for work objects, but would like to thank the functionality of layers as well.

    Thanks in advance!

    "Is there a way to determine the visible boundaries of a layer in Illustrator CS5 +?

    the Document.visibleBounds property returns the boundaries of what is visible in the document... then, hide all the layers except one, and run the code

    var idoc = app.activeDocument;
    var bounds = idoc.visibleBounds;
    $.writeln("visible layer bounds = " + bounds);

  • Captivate 9 - Player in the FastForward menu - ToolTips don't work when publishing to SWF format

    We have recently upgraded to 9 Captivate. We had a problem with the publication of our material to the SWF format.

    Fast Forward Player menu option [> >] ToolTips not getting picked up and displays only the ToolTip for the State of the default button (2 x Fast Forward speed).

    The actual game speed does not change, so the problem is with the ToolTips.

    When we publish our material to the HTML5 format, the ToolTips are working properly; as provided for in the playbarScript.js file:

    "FastForward: ' 2 x speed fast forward."

    "FastForward1: ' 4 x speed fast forward."

    FastForward2: 'normal speed. "

    We looked at the flash files used to create the PlayBar (c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 9 x64\Templates\PlaybackFLA\AS3\..), and these tooltips seem to be good here.

    Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

    Thank you very much.

    Even if it is not explicitly mentioned in the release notes, we confirm that this has been fixed in version 9.0.2.437.

  • publish the .swf in the bigger window

    We have an LMS compliant construction craft non-SCORM. We managed to implement a JavaScript 'hack' to get the scores in our LMS. However, the published .swf must be published in our LMS browser window. We noticed that some of the hack instructions have sample .swfs which by default one size higher inside the browsser window, but I'm not able to resize the project to present the largest inside the window. I tried the project > resize, but which only impact on resolution. I'd appreciate any help on this.

    Hello

    If your goal is simply to adjust the SWF will be presented to a different size in the browser? Usually, you set it in the HTML code. When you publish SWF format and you use the HTML option, you get an HTML page that contains code that is presenting the film. The code contains the values of the pixels that match the resolution of the project. You said that you are already hacking the code to make it work, it would seem that all you need to do is change the values in the object tag.

    Standard code in the HTML page looks like this: (click on the image to enlarge)

    If you change these values to match what you want to the new dimensions of being.

    Be forewarned, however, that this can have an unintended effect on the quality of the Captivate movie.

  • Export from InDesign to SWF format

    When I export a magazine to the SWF format that extends the coverage of the page appears on the right and an empty page is displayed to the left. While it is normal it is not an attractive finished product. How can I avoid having the blank page on the left? Of course, the last cover page also shows a blank page.

    You will need to overlap with the area of the page. If the gray box is totally outside of the page, it used to be, if same fraction of the rectangle goes to the area of the page, it should work...

  • Where is the folder in which the swf file for Extensions of the Illustrator

    Hi all

    I can place SWFs in Photoshop and Indesign file panels and they appear fine in the menu of the extension, but everywhere where I place the SWF in Illustrator files, it just does not appear anywhere. Can someone tell me where should I place them?

    TIA Loïc

    Hi love,

    The right way to install Extensions of CS is with an installer ZXP.

    The extensions belong to:

    CS5ServiceManager/extensions / [ExtensionName]

    You need the manifest file in the subfolder CSXS, as well as the swf file in the main folder. The manifest file contains the individual app where/what it is to install the extension.

    Sure mate:

    Copy this http://contek.com.do/ExampleAdobeSoundChannel.zip links and paste it into your browser, unzip the zip file and you can play the swf file to see the desired effect, the included FLA Source file, frame 15 actionscripts.

    Also note the library to see the class that I applied to the sound.
