  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode.   Maybe you should remove the SP3 and must try to reinstall again on the Portégé R500 using only SP2.
