LeadTek WinFast PVR3000 Deluxe for VHS to DVD conversion

I can't find the retail of LeadTek WinFast PVR3000 Deluxe Tuner TV card, agreeing to VHS to DVD conversion. Could you recommend me a new card of the same or better opportunities?

In addition to the advice already given by Sathish S V, make sure that the card TV tuner and its software is compatible with your version of Windows and your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements.

Many new hardware and software devices are not compatible with earlier versions of Windows.

Kind regards

    Hi all

Any information on how to convert a VHS to DVD movie that can be played on a regular DVD player would save me a lot of headaches (as the conversion format, size, etc...).

It seems that I only have Windows Movie Maker installed on the F10.
    Thank you in advance.

I did it using Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5. Some users on this forum have reported creating DVDs is simply and I wanted to test it. I can really confirm that.

I recorded VHS movies with this software, and with a few clicks of any material has been prepared for DVD burning. Now I can watch all the movies on a standard DVD player.

  • VHS to DVD on Windows DVD Maker

Should which device I plug my DVD player to the computer to convert my movies at home using Windows DVD Maker?

I have Windows Vista and you may not use the answer to another answer which requires Windows 2000 or XP.

I thought to buy a video capture device to help with the process, have a VCR, have my laptop and an external DVD burner if it's useful.  While doing research I read about creating Windows DVD and thought I could use it, but with the capture device is necessary.  It will help me to improve my video transfer or do I have to use one or the other?

  • Transfer VHS to DVD and copy to computer

I copied a VHS recording on a DVD-R disc, I have loaded the DVD on my computer (Windows 7) and it's showing in Movie Maker and parts seem to have seperated IE.  2 pieces showing the normal image of film the largest part, as shown screen when my computer plays the disc.

A message appears on the screen when I click the majority stating that Movie Maker does not support the selected file type. I spent 2 hours trying to find the 'file type' and'm going gray. Please can someone help me. Thank you very much.

Hi thanks for a quick response, I used a DVD recorder Panasonic DMR-EZ49VEB who played and recorded VHS and DVD.

    ===============================================
OK... so would the file format of the video files on DVD. VOB.
The converter that I have suggested can convert these files to WMV format.
Then... Movie Maker must recognize them.

  • Win 8-media library - Win 8 'ITETech' driver Leadtek Winfast DTV 2000 DS

I installed W8 and media library with a TV Tuner DS Leadtek Winfast DTV 2000 card.

When the TV card with the 'ITETech' of Win8 driver, the TV tuner works fine, but the remote MCE DO NOT work.

If I install the newer OEM driver of Leadtek, MC DO NOT of W8 recognize the TV card, but the MCE Remote works in MC.

I wonder if there is a work around?

or will the Win 8 ITETech driver updated to recognize the remote MCE with DTV 2000 DS?

or I have to wait for OEM Leadtek release a W8 driver?

ITETech is the name displayed in the Device Manager, driver DTV2000 standard Win 8 using without the Leadtek drivers installed.   I followed the instructions above and installed the Leadtek drivers, use the compatibility mode (defined in Windows 7) and install the device driver via run as administrator.  Now, works very well with Leadtek Win 7 drivers in win 8 64-bit.

  • VHS to DVD via first and yet?

I have therefore 4 VHS tapes that I want to convert into 2 or 3 DVD. I currently have all of the converts and configured using the first and I am trying to export to work with them in Ecore (main menus and burn to DVD). I have a 1 h 45 m video exported to AVI format with a file size of 22.5 GB and I have another video that is about 4-5 hours that I have not exported yet.

I go about it properly? Still will be able to reduce the AVI enough for even the video of 1 hour 45 minutes of VHS to fit on a single DVD? I'll have to divide the 2nd video on two DVD? Here's the simple DVD layer, but I was curious to see how much it will compress or if I'm completely off base how I take this pass. For me, it doesn't seem like I should have problems posed by less than 2 hours on 1 DVD.

    Thank you!

What version of still and PR?

VHS is of poor quality. The conversion of VHS in everything you import to the PR is a crucial first step. Personally, I preferred a VHS to DVD machine conversion. It uses the encoding material and in some cases some cleaning of the VHS signal permit.

And the quality I used only 1 hour per DVD. (You can put in a lower quality recording and get more per disc.)

When I edited to put only the sections I wanted on secondary DVD, I used change options that do not have re - transcode sections that have not changed. This was not available in PR when I did last. Smart yet rendered not done PR for these files?

Make your way, you have to export as a MPEG2-DVD of PR and using a bitrate calculator to determine the throughput you need. Original good quality, you can get 2 hours on a DVD. But depending on what you have your VHS to digital conversion, it may not seem good enough.

  • You are looking for an internal DVD drive for a Satellite Pro A40

    Hello

I'm looking for an internal DVD burner for a model Satellite Pro A40 2.88 Celeron with a currently installed CD-RW/DVD-Rom. My mother is the owner of this laptop and I want to upgrade the drive for her.

Does anyone here know of any number of model of the DVD-RW/CD-RW/DVD-Rom that is compatible with this model.

I want the drive to function as a DVD-Rom/CD-RW also because I do not want to lose these features. Swap the bezel above if necessary isn't a problem for me.

    Thank you

    Hello
For this particular model, I could not find another A40 Pro which has a DVD - RW, only DVD ROM. I also suggest to buy an external DVD - RW writer because an internal hard drive will cost much more. Probably triple what external there. External, you can find for about 50 but internal will cost at least about 90 more taxes. I'm sure it is internal that correspond to this machine, but at the moment I don't have the time to research each compatible model search of the car, it's why I suggest an external drive. I hope this helps.

  • Firmware for Toshiba ODD-DVD SD - R5272

    Dear support,

I have a Toshiba ODD-DVD SD - R5272 installed in my computer. This drive can write according to technical specification, DVD - R, but my drive, can not because my firmware is outdated. Even after several searches online and on tohsiba-Support pages, I haven´t find any firmware for my ODD-DVD.

I hope you can give me the latest firmware and software for assigned Flash, SD-R5272, for Windows 7 (64 bit) operating system.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi SDR5272,

    > Dear support,
Just for your information: It's just a forum user to user here and no official support from Toshiba. If you can talk with normal people like you and me, and I doubt that someone could give you an update for this drive.

    > can write, but my DVD-R disc can not because my firmware is outdated
The firmware has nothing to do with it. If the drive specification says that you can burn DVD-R media, you can do. With a new firmware, you can upgrade your player and add new features. It s bug just setting but not more.

My personal opinion is that the problem is related to the brand of DVD - R. Have you tested different brands? I would recommend medium high quality Verbatim or TDK for example. They are really good and never had a problem with them. :)

This kind of things you can find on a market online like ebay. You will find a large number of hardware components used. Before you buy something check exactly which components work well with your laptop.

And now the final question. How you want to do this 5.25 inch drive working correctly with your S1700?

  • Re: Satellite A100-955: I need a firmware for Mat * a DVD - RAM UJ - 841S

    Hello!

    I have a Satellite A100-955, and I need a firmware for my CD/DVD drive.
It works fine and bad in different times.
My current version is 1.60. I can't find an update anywhere! Or at least the same firmware...

I can't find it on CPR1, I can't find it on the Web from Panasonic website. Help!

    Hello

I checked the Toshiba page and there is no updated firmware for this CURIOUS.
Usually if you have some problems with reading or writing to the disks, then this means that the STRANGE beginning of malfunctions and no update firmware could help.
Perhaps the drive's laser lens is not ok this happens after a long period of use.

Maybe you can try to clean the lens with the help of alcohol and lint.

If that does not help, then you should try different discs from different manufacturers
And the last option could be replacement drive.

    Hello

Sorry, but the firmware update will not remove the DVD region lock.
The fact is that you can change 5 times this option, then the option is locked and it of not possible to change it.
Unfortunately, there is nothing to see!
