• Moving the tabs with the left button of the mouse no longer works! Help please!

• Problem HP Pavilion 15 left button of the mouse

  Something seems to have gone wrong or goes wrong with my HP Pavilion 15 laptop.

  The left mouse button doesn't seem to be completely back to its normal position on the right side of the button. It seems to be about 1 mm below where it should return to.

  The button is still fully functional, the left side of the button gets to his normal position of return but the right side is certainly a little weak - there is a separate step to the right button of the mouse that touches.

  The laptop is less than a year and I am consideringing it let's get back to the where I bought it, even if the button still works.

  I understand that you are concerned about the button to left click on the touchpad of your laptop.

  There is a little spring under the buttons making the jump to the top, but over time, it can slide or wear out. This usually only happens on notebooks and is not exclusively limited to HP.   My problem started after a reinstall, I wanted to point out something on a web page, then copy and paste, but could not.
  Then I wanted to move the bar on an excel worksheet, but could not, the cursor changes shape nut etc. it won't let me highlight or move things?

  (I downloaded the latest drivers etc.)

  It's a bit as the right and left click actions are a little mixed?

  Mouse button configuration can be set for right-handed and left-handed users.
  Have you checked this option in the properties of the mouse?

• Need to repeatedly press the left button of the mouse

  I use a HP Pavilion series g with Win7 Pro and use a Wireless Mouse HP x 4000.  During the last week or so, I had to press the left mouse button to make it work.  I checked in the Control Panel, and it is said that it works ok.  I also ran several antivirus scans of my complete system with no viruses.  I cleaned the contacts and changed the batteries, but still have the same problem.  The laptop and the mouse were purchased new in April.

  Yes, is there something I can do that has not already been done?  Or maybe the mouse is more defective.  Would appreciate any advice.

  Right now, I feel that the mouse must be replaced as well. Safe mode is an environment where the most basic drivers are used to allow windows to operate. In other words, it eliminates all other aspects that might have been contributing to the problem.  Because the problem occurs in and out of safe mode and on another computer, I think that the mouse must be replaced.

  Please answer as soon as possible.

  I've created the new folder. When I left click it open in the search window.  If I right click on it, drop-down box and select open and it opens on the window of the folder as it should.  How can I get the folder to open in the right window when I left click rather than having to do the extra step by clicking on the right, and then open?

• Satellite P850 138 - left button of the touchpad works most completely

  My touchpad started acting strange.

  left mouse button has stopped working completely and the right hand one worked only intermittently, and whenever I clicked on legs, be it firefox, IE, Safari, or whatever it is in the menu at the bottom such as a folder bar or whatever it is she she closed (no im not not by clicking on the red X)

  My personal opinion, you should not replace this laptop until you tried not to workarounds.
  First you don t know if its software related issue.
  The point is that if its software delivers, you could solve it easily recover the laptop using the recovery of HARD drive option.

  Please try to configure the computer laptop initial configuration using disk HARD recovery.
  Press F8-> choose fix my computer-> drive HARD recovery

  If HARD drive recovery is not available, press F12 and check if there is a HARD drive recovery option.
  After the system recovery, make sure that the touchpad and other features of the laptop.

  I know very little on my Satellite C50-A-157. Run on Windows 8. I'm main user/admin and all of a sudden I am unable to move the cursor of the mouse... only average, it seems, I beg, if I hold the botton left hand (at the bottom of the mouse pad) at the same time, it moves.

• Buttons on the touch pad G505s does not properly in game?

  This is the second time I am posting this because of no response:

  I recently bought a Lenovo G505s about a month ago. Everything goes well with her until I downloaded Steam and downloaded games. 3 games I downloaded are snipers and therefore requires the left button of the mouse. But when I click it to shoot, he is sometimes unresponsive and is very laggy. This isn't the fault of the game, as I tried in different, but the problem is still there. While randomly browsing settings for my PC, I stumbled upon the Windows mouse settings and it turns out that the time for clicks has been in the Middle, which explains the shift. I have this disables and problem solved without help of Lenovo at all. Lenovo support team good job

  I'm having some problems, mainly the left button of the mouse does not work. I searched and searched for an answer, but I can't seem to find a. The touchpad itself works perfectly. I can double-tap to click, press on and drag the highlight, etc.. The right button of the mouse works fine as well. It brings up a menu each time as it is supposed to. The left button on the other hand, does not at all. I had the computer for about 6 months, so my warranty is still in tact. I was hoping just to find a simple solution, before passing through the process of return to HP or Best Buy.

  At first, the left button seemed to lag. It works sometimes and not others. Then it stopped completely (all within a period of a few days), what happened a month ago. Since then, I was looking for answers and dealing with just. even if it is super boring!

  Another thing I noticed is around the time that the mouse itself has stopped working, my Start menu was allowed out entirely. When I searched the HP Support Assistant, he didn't. I had to go through the program files for access. Nothing is displayed in the start - menu it is empty with the exception of Norton, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and the menu accessories (but inside she, notebook, Run and command prompt, are the only things that appear.

  So overall - my Start menu is almost empty, and my left mouse button does not work.

  I tried to install the new drivers, but no luck.

  I mean it's a hardware problem, but the thing on the part of the menus disappearing makes me wonder if it's a virus. I would try a Windows CD as Hiren PXE environment and see if the mouse works with different software. But it's a longshot and the likely answer is that the mouse circuit is bad. The only other thing you could try is a factory restore.

• NB250 - 10G - left button touchpad does not work

  I have a NB250 10 G which, until a few days ago had worked perfectly.
  However, I then found that I couldn't operate the netbook with the touchpad.

  However, it all works very well with my mouse USB plug-in.
  Everything seemed to go haywire with the touchpad, but I now know what the problem is.

  The right button touchpad works fine, but the left button produces the same result as the right one. In other words, I have no work left button - I can't click to open all the icons, I can't close down - all that happens is I have a mini menu appearing as right-click.
  A note to Toshiba online has so far not received response.

  Maybe you should check the configuration of the touchpad buttons.
  In Control Panel-> mouse-> device settings, you will find the various parameters for touchpad.
  Check this there should be a configuration option for a touchpad buttons too.

  You can also try reinstalling the driver for the touchpad that is perhaps just a software problem
