  Hey there,

  I was wondering if you can help me I make videos of products for a company and I have downloaded a few free fonts in order to have more variety. I downloaded them installed and dropped in the folder fonts (I work with a windows 7)

  I wanted to create a title page and take a policy which I had downloaded beforehand (I downloaded about 20 of them) but none of them appear in my library of fonts.

  Does anyone know why this may be?

  I just wanted you to know that, for some reason, I was working in first earlier and all of a sudden all types fonts I downloaded originally were available. I don't really know why and how, but it works and it's the most important thing! :-) Thanks for your help!

• External hard drives not appearing is not in Premiere Pro Media Browser

  Hi all!  My external drive are not displayed in Premiere Pro... and Yes, they worked very well yesterday.  The internal drives both appear, but the external drives are not accessible.

  At first, I thought maybe it was the reader (a new USB 3.0 which worked yesterday)... I tried to change the cable, change the disk, even a USB 3.0 drive change to a drive FW 800.  Doesn't appear on my desktop, as well as in other applications (including the 'other' edition platforms and After Effects) etc... but none are appearing in Premiere Pro.

  FWIW, I tried in the first Pro CC as well as Premiere Pro CS6.  I tried to restart the computer, creating new projects, hold down the option key while starting the first, using CS repair of digital rebellion... all to nothing does not.  Any thoughts?

  My system is a MacBook Pro (late 2011), 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16 GB of Ram, Mac OS X 10.8.5 equipped

  This is how the OWC drives are formatted with their software. I backed up my external drive and reformatted with utility disk (mac). The car worked fine after that.

  Sorry if this is a basic question, but I'm not the most tech savvy.  I just got first pro a few days ago and I tried to go through a few tutorials of Lynda.com.  A problem I have right now for this tutorial, it's that he can't find the files.  I downloaded exercise files, but when I open the first pro, the files are not found.  When I do a search, I can't find something or the other.  What I am doing wrong?

  I'm trying the new function of the application of my own looks like Lumetri (created in SpeedGrade) in Premiere Pro. But when I do seem to be a bit different when I look at them as seen in Speedgrade. Can we do with how I built the looks? Video files are in H.264 format, shot the canon dslr with the picture style Technicolor Cinestyle feature, and my first step was to apply a LUT layer where I use the curve of Technicolor Cinestyle LUT. It seems that the LUT Cinestyle do not appear when I apply the appearance in Premiere Pro. A solution I tried was in an adjustment layer to complete all the clips with the LUT Cinestyle. It was better, but yet I have not the same style as in Speedgrade. For example, the colors are a little different and exposure is a little more blown.

  Haven't seen a post in the forum where this issue is discussed, but maybe someone has a suggestion about what to do. I love the powerful tool, which I think is of Speedgrade, but it's really annoying to see that the work that I've done is useless when I try the 'Lumetri in first-workflow.

  Go figure Neil! It was the BLUE DAY4NIGHT - SL - 3527 LUT that comes with Speedgrade corresponding to these two programs almost perfectly! lol God is good! All my problems are solved! :-)

• Premiere Pro launches more after the update, question mark on the icon appears

  I've just updated Premiere Pro, and now it launches more. Only a question mark on the icon appears. The same thing happens with Illustrator, After Effects, and Photoshop. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

  

  I thought about it. I just reinstalled all my apps that wouldn't launch and it works fine now. You can simply uninstall the apps screen update CC and then install here once again.

• Export of the alpha channel of the AE does not appear correctly when placed on the timeline in Premiere Pro

  I exported the following from After Effects graph and followed the instructions to export using the Lossless + Alpha setting in the render queue. After importing the file to Premiere Pro, it appears correctly in the window of source footage; However, when placed on a sequence (even a sequence created to match the settings of the clamp of the said folder) it displays immediately the transparent gradient incorrectly in the canvas window. I restarted Pr see if it was the result of a file of previous preview when I was exporting from Ae incorrectly. No change.   We cannot tell what the problem from your description.  A nice screenshot of your AE project will be very useful.  Special interest: the side effects for the snow effect.

  I'm on a level of beginner on Premiere Pro, so please be nice if this question is very basic. I'm doing a video that preserves the video resolution of entry exactly. My video entry was a MP4 movie with a resolution of 1440 x 1080. It is a recording of screen iPad using the X-Mirage software. When I opened normally in quicktime format, it seems not tense. However, when I imported the clip in first, the clip appeared tense. I checked the properties of the element, and it proved to have Pixel Aspect Ratio 1.3333, which means that the pixels are elongated. My output sequence was also strained because of this, although the output indicated that the resolution is the same: 1440 x 1080. I tried to comply with the "Clip Mismatch warning' and the result was still a stretched version. Help, please!

  Go to interpret images and set the format of the pixels to 1.0.

• Audio in Premiere Pro CS3 appear on a PC, not the other

  I am the network administrator for a school and we have a Digital Media Lab here using Adobe Creative Suite 3: Master Collection.  All systems here are running Windows XP Professional and on a Windows domain.  All users are standard users, without administrative rights for obvious reasons of security.  When I made originally of the deployment of the lab by running sysprep on a reference computer and use ghost to deploy the rest of the computers, I noticed a problem with Premiere Pro CS3 after deployment.  In this laboratory, none of the computers would capture video via firewire and built it based on capture in Adobe Premiere CS3.  I think I have a post about it on these forums that was never solved.  To work around this problem, I capture images for students in my office and transfer it on to their readers of network so that they can import it into Premiere Pro CS3 and edit images.

  Recently, the school bought a few HD cameras that record a built-in hard drive or an SDHC card.  The idea here is that the. MTS files could come from the camera to the computer running Premiere Pro CS3, media files in. Format MTS [1280 x 720] could be converted to help Free HD Converter from KoyoteSoft using the settings [preset] MPEG2, MPG2 as format, 1280 x 720 / / 16: 9 29.97 FPS, video rate 9000 and 224 audio bitrate, and then the media new files can be imported into Premiere Pro CS3 and edited using the HDV preset in Premiere Pro CS3 720p30.

  It works fine on my desktop computer.

  The problem is that if any student tries to import their images on a computer in the laboratory of digital media, the converted media files, exact same those who just imported in my Premiere Pro CS3 installation on a computer in my office with the same material as the computers in the lab of digital media, fail to import the audio.  I can see the video without any problem in the lab, but no audio layer is displayed.  If I click with the right button on the video file and choose open with > VLC or other media player, the media play with audio.  All audio and video codecs installed on my machine are also installed on the machines of digital media.  If I right click on Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 from a student on these computers account and choose Run as and use the account administrator, Premiere Pro CS3 does exactly the same thing, he can't yet see the audio.  Adobe CS3 is perfectly up-to-date on my desktop computer and all computers of digital media.

  Any help solving this would be greatly appreciated, spring break is coming here next week and I'll be here all week.  Hoping to get this resolved during this time so that students can edit their own films.  Again, importing video, audio is not.  No audio layer is displayed.

  See if that helps... To work with audio files AC3 into Premiere CS3, copy the file ad2ac3dec.dll of the Encore CS3 directory creation directory
