  Download the appropriate java installation file and save it on HD physically disconnect your computer from the internet, it's true - pull the Ethernet cable or disconnect the wireless connection. Install the installation file java (note: no error message). Back to zero (not sure if necessary, but do it anyway).  Reconnect to the internet and your java work.

  As a newbie to sbRIO, I would build a simple Quadrature counter.

  Recently, I attended the great build your own Embedded system workshop and have a sbRIO-9636 running a updated the Quadrature counter sample project AND originally designed for the sbRIO-9631.  He works a lot using the digital encoder built into the daughter card.

  Then, I want to use a Lego Mindstorms NXT motor (PN 9842) encoder.  I will feed the outboard motor so for now I just up/down count the encoder.  Here is the wiring that I intend to use on the map of my daughter:

  Channel that has the encoder (yellow wire) will go to DI2
  Channel B (blue wire) of the encoder will go to the DI3
  Common 0V (red wire) goes to DGND
  + 5V (green wire) will go?

  So my question: is there a point on the map the sbRIO-9636 girl, I can securely connect to for + 5V power of encoder?  Moreover, these colors of son are Lego Mindstorms extension cables when they are cut and stripped.

  According to the quick reference for the sbRIO 9636: http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/375933a.pdf

  There seems to be + 5V on 49 and 50 of the J502 connector pins. This connector is available, or you use a daughter card?

  Other options would be more hackers IMO, such as the drawing of the USB connector 5V.

  In both cases, a State of dialog that the installation was successful, but the application folder only has a record of engine and couple other files, but no application ICON

  I'm trying to install Microsoft FreeLancer on Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition (according to WinVer: Version 6.1, build 6701, Service Pack 1).

  After inserting the DVD in the drive and run "Setup.exe", I am invited by the UAC to elevate permissions - who I am agreement - then the following error message appears: "Setup was unable to find (or could not read) the language specific setup resource dll, unable to continue." If please restart and try again. »

  The only valid technote, I found the issue was http://support.microsoft.com/kb/258496. The below is the list of the things that I tried after reading this technote - but no avail.

  • Of course, I tried to restart.
  • I checked the DVD is in good condition, even with regard to the attempts to install from the disc to a friend and even went up to compare the MD5 of all files on two DVDs, the checksums match.
  • I tried using the compatibility mode for XP, although according to the report of another user on the statements of the Windows Compatibility Center that this should not be necessary.
  • I ran a full "chkdsk" (i.e. one scheduled for after a reboot, rebooted) and chkdsk reported no error.
  • I deleted all files "di - use ' %TEMP%, immediately after the restart and before you run setup.exe.
  • I've looked at this the EMET tool had an exemption for 'setup.exe' and my tool anti-virus was disabled before installation.

  Everything I try seems to have no effect on the resolution of this problem.

  Can anyone suggest any possible causes of--and, ideally, solutions to-this issue?

  I managed to work around this problem by using the following workaround solution:

  I installed Freelancer CD on a Windows XP virtual machine running in VMWare Workstation. I then moved the installation directory (C:\Program Files\FreeLancer) off the coast of the virtual machine on my Windows 7 computer in (C:\Program Files (x 86) \FreeLancer).

  The game seems to work fine as long as it is run with administrative privileges (that is, the freelancer.exe running). Without administrator rights, the games is never recorded. With them, they are registered under "C:\Program Files (x 86) \FreeLancer\EXE\Accts\SinglePlayer" successfully.

  I use the archiver to reproduce documents between 2 instances of WCC.

  on the destination instance, when an error occurs during the import (for example due to bad metadata or missing field), just archiver stops and keep another attempt to import the document not valid.

  Therefore, the replication is completely blocked until an administrator deletes the document and restart the archive manually.

  Is it possible to prevent the archiver to stop replication (import) when an error occurs? (ie. the archiver continues to import good other documents in the batchfiles)

  There was formerly a component ("ArchiverRelicationException") that was designed for this purpose.  I do not see the item itself anywhere for 11g, but the literature suggests that there is indeed always.

  I runnig a bit of line follower robot a GUI (a XY chart in the front panel) programmed in Labview, but when I disconnect the USB my robot Don t work at all, so I guess that the program is running on the computer and send just kind of commands to the robot, but I want to do an autonomous robot because you know a litle Dingo goes behind the robot my laptop whit, also I Don t have the dongle Bluettooth =)

  Is it possible to:

  (1) make your NXT code in Labview

  (2) download the code for the NXT brick

  (3) disconnect the USB cable from the computer and the NXT brick

  (4) run the program without a computer

  I m sure it s posibble and maybe this is a silly question but I can´t find a way to make it work by miself, thanks for the answer! = D

  Hi Diego,.

  You must change the "target" of your program of line follower.

  With your connected NXT brick, go in the file menu of your program and select "target to NXT.

  The lower left corner of your window should turn on orange to display the name of the NXT that you will shoot.

  You can right click it to switch/scan nxts as well.

  Once you target, you can use the button to compile, download and run your program.

  I hope someone can help me. A week ago, I had to uninstall Bitdefender Security and Microsoft Security Essentials in order to download, and the new version of Bitdefender Security 2013. Once I uninstalled them both, I re-installed Microsoft Security Essentials and now had the new version of Bitdefender. Before that, I have not had any problems or questions to everyone, including Microsoft Update. Since then, I can't update Microsoft updates more. I get error code 0CX80001FE. I've been to the Microsoft Support page for this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958048 error and did everything he said, but it does not help me update Windows. I also run Microsoft Fix It that opens when I go to this support page. Microsoft Fix It found 2 issues and said "Microsoft Components needs to be repaired". After running Fix It to repair, he tells me that they have been corrected. I restart my computer and you try to run Windows Update again and get the same error code.

  Help, please! I'd be happy.
