  This article from Epson says that the driver is included in Windows 7.

  I don't see any info out there that clearly explains how to add it.  It simply States that you must go to "add a printer".  Looks like you already did this well.

• Printing problems wireless with Windows 7 Home Premium

  Previously, I had Window Vista downloaded on my laptop and had NO problem printing wireless. Now I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I have a modem from my phone company, a wireless router and a Photosmart All printer (C4795).  The same one I had with Vista.  I just can't get anything to print UNLESS I connect a USB cable from my laptop to my printer (very frustrating). I'm not completely PC illiterate, but not very clever of them either. I uninstalled and reinstall the printer, the router and the modem and that did not help. The internet connection to the HOMEGROUP network seems to be well. All devices are listed and look good, but I can not just wireless printer that's why I brought the first wireless printer.

  I see you're wondering how to check the ink with your HP Officejet J4540 levels. I'm happy to help you!

  First of all, I recommend going through this guide, check the ink levels for HP Officejet J4500 and J4600 all-in-One Printer Series.

  If this does not work for you, on the printer itself, press the key icon in the upper right corner, it will take you to settings, then continue to press the right arrow until you see print report, then press OK. You will see the self-test on the screen, press OK again. Will display the test page, and then you will see the level of ink on the printed page.

  I use a printer-E709n and thank you and all the others to try to help me with this problem, but I found the solution to my problem.  It seems that not all e-icons are not created equal.  I have internet access of the e icon on the start page of Windows 8 when I should have access through the e icon on the office page.  They take you to two different pages.  Open Web page through the e-icon of the start page has no internet tool gear symbol in the header (the symbol of charm tool gear does not bind to the printer either) and clicking on Ctrl-P does not bring to the top of the window to print even as in previous versions of Windows.  My spirit guide was able to get this information for me.

  I've owned a printer all-in-one Officejet J6480 for a few years.  I bought a new Lenovo computer several months that came with a free to Windows Update when 10 is which would be published.  I managed to load the J6480 software and everything worked very well, including the scanner.  When Windows 10 came out I upgraded to it and rebooted the printer software and everything worked fine.

  Then about two weeks ago, all the J6480 would do is printed.  When I tried to open the HP Solution Center to scan a document all I had was a 'ping' and the Center does not open.   So I tried to remove all the HP software and re - load.  It would be the load but not completely.  I kept getting the message that "the application you are trying to use has been blocked to open because it could damage your PC or the loss of data. This is because some applications that worked with a previous version of Windows may not work the same way with Windows 10 ".  I do not understand why it worked fine for a few months with 10 windows and now it's incompatible, unless there was an automatic upgrade (Windows 10 or HP) that is now causing the conflict.

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times but to no avail.  Can anyone suggest a solution?
