• I have a problem with the capture tool works not properly on Windows 8.

  Original title: snipping tool - work when I start it up, the new button has already been clicked but not at home

  Clarification:

  At work, my computer is Windows 7. At home, it is Windows 8. At work when I start the capture tool I have not hit any other button in order to start the selection of the area I want to Snip. The tool is already gray and my mouse is ready to score my selection.

  At home when I start the capture tool, I get the menu, click on 'New' and THEN I can start my selection - one additional click. It annoys me (I know it's small, but I cut a lot) so I was hoping there was a setting I could change how it starts.

  I know that's not exactly a new topic, but I found that I had the same problem.  I found that the cause of this problem actually comes from OneNote believe it or not.  If you have recently updated your Office Suite and now have the ability of OneNote, all you have to do is to open OneNote and configure.  Once you get it configured you can then select the options that you just press the Windows key + S to be able to cut out a screen shot and you can also set it to copy directly to the Clipboard, then there is no need to tap the new button more in the cutting tool.  Hope this makes sense and helps anyone having the same problems I had.

• CS5.1 scaling tool works not properly

  The scaling tool works strangely. If I have resize something down (like a logo) - even with the SHIFT is pressed and resize it back - it is all warped. Is there something I need to turn on or off? Because of the scale tool does not correctly, it's destroy logos. I'm not new to illustrator, so unless something in the program has changed I don't do anything that I have not always done - without harmful effects.

  Hi, I'm going to pull the rope in flash, but when I try to use the pencil tool is not draw anything because in the tool properties pencil fill and stroke is set to transparent as shown in the image below:

  The pencil tool uses the outline color, the one on the left. Right click on this color indicator in the Properties window. The color picker should appear. In the top of the color selector part will be an indicator for the density of the selected color. Change that number to 100. Now you should be able to draw with the pencil tool, as you'd expect.

• Selection tool works not - only work for moving objects

  My selection tool does not at all - when I select an object with it, it only shows the anchors of direct selection, but does not allow me to change an anchor elements. It will allow me to move the object to resize (or change the position of the anchorages either).

  When I select the text tool and press command to change the text box, nothing happens and it won't let me change anything.

  I'm in CS5, on a Mac.

  I already rebooted Illustrator (nothing is) and then restarted my computer, and it is not yet fixed.

  Take a look at show/hide edges and show/hide the rectangle enclosing. Both located in the view menu.

• Spot Removal tool works not, marquee offset box

  When I select a clone or heal area, using the spot removal tool something strange happens.

  This is what is happening. I draw an area to heal, after this the white tent appears, but not around the area, I drew. The marquee is offset about 2 centimetres under the box that I drew. If the task is not covered, and noting happens. Am I doing something wrong here, can you please help me?

• Move the tool and the hand tool works not so I can't move my images.

  I have the latest version of photoshop, and I can't move my images with the tool move or the hand tool. Make sure the level that I want to spend the move tool does nothing and it rises, as if I'm trying to select part of the image that is similar to the use of the Selection tool (as shown in the picture attatched) but then nothing happens. The only way I'm able to move my image now is if I use the transform tool and it's really frustrating and time consuming way to do. I restarted photoshop, my computer laptop, insured without other applications/software are running and still nothing works. I have also tried resetting tools built-in, but to no avail. Any suggestions on how I could fix that would be great!

  

  Hi Serenah: This isn't the tool move, this is the path Selection tool. 2015 CC took a major interface update! The move tool is now arrow 4 sides and just to keep things interesting, tool display changes with the workspace. To reset the tools, choose window > Workspace > Essentials reset. • PES 11 Eraser tool works not properly in Brush mode?

  When I erase with the Eraser brush to 100% opacity erasing is done gradually, the line disappears with several traits/clicks of the "brush", until she is completely erased. In pencil, the line mode is clear instantly with the first click. How can I get Brush mode to work in the same way as pencil? I prefer much the round smooth brush eraser for pencil of circles in staircase. I do not know tool Eraser 6 PSE has worked with a brush 100% instant-erase mode, decreasing only a process of discoloration if opacity has a lower value. Adobe has this changed in PES 11 or is defective Eraser? Thanks for help.

  Try resetting the Eraser tool.

• Paint Bucket tool works not

  Since the "Animate" update it's broken. I drew my frames as usual and when tring to fill in the character with the paint bucket tool, nothing happened. All my lines are closed, I redesigned the countless number of times, nothing. If I draw a circle just simple stupid but, I can fill that very well.

  Good so I managed to do the work. It seems that the drawing - all segments of it - are inside a drawn object. Just double-click on one of the lines to get into this object. You can now fill.

• Healing Brush tool works not properly

  The Healing Brush tool in the 2015 version of photoshop cc doesn't seem to work properly. The tool seems to leave a task around the area where he was last used.  For any help or suggestion on how to solve this problem would be most appreciated.

  This problem has been fixed in the 2015.0.1 update. Let me know if you still have problems after the update.

• Illustrator - Ellipse tool works not properly

  Hello

  totally new to Illustrator, so probably a silly question, but I really don't know what to do at this point.

  All of a sudden during the use of the ellipse, rectangle,... tool, during the drawing of the object, it shows the path (pls see photo below). Something obviously clicked / lit a few features that I shouldn't, but I do not know who and how.

• Spot Healing Brush Tool works not

  My Spot Healing Brush tool has stopped working.  He no longer paint.  He's going to make a point, jump space, make another point, jump more space, make another point, etc.  I don't know what is happening.  Someone at - it to another expirenced?

  My polygon tool creates circles, polygons do not.  I tried the upper and down arrows... nothing, just a circle. I tried in a new document, no change.  I use CS3. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  Check the settings of the tool and make sure that the polygon is not defined on a very large number of sides.  100 polygon face remarkably resembles an ellipse...

• The eyedropper tool does not work in the levels, curves adjustments

  I have installed PS CS 5 extended on a new computer with Vista Home Premium. Any other version of Photoshop has already been installed on this system.

  The problem I encounter is the eyedropper tools in the two curves and levels adjustment does not work. The real sliders seem to work fine, but clicking on a dropper and then a spot on the photo has no effect at all on the image.

  I encounter this problem when I run the 64 bit version of the program. It occurs only in the standard version of CS5, I need to continue to use because of plugin incompatibility with the 64-bit version.

  I checked what is obvious and ensure that the 'Preview' is checked, and that I have the correct layer selected!

  I'm sorry to hear that none of those things cleaned up the problem for you.  I am almost sure this is a video driver issue, and it is unfortunate that the latest version of the driver does not solve it.  As a general statement: the Intel GPU and OpenGL drivers are known to be problematic with Photoshop.  A good number of people with Intel GPU report a problem on this forum.

  Just to be absolutely sure...  You have disabled the drawing OpenGL, closed and reopened in Photoshop, and the problem remains the same?  Have you tried both ways after the release of the pilot?  Make sure and close and reopen Photoshop after the change is made.

  There is another thing you could try...  Clear preferences for Photoshop 32-bit.  Press and hold Ctrl - Shift - Alt immediately after you start Photoshop of its menu item or a shortcut.  If you're fast enough, you will be asked if you want to restore all of the default preferences.
