LEXMARK 2200 SERIES
I had the to printer Lexmark 2200 series for many years, but now when I scan a document on my printer a black band appears at the bottom of the scanned document as it is transferred to my computer. I then open the document in the paint to clear the black strip before I can use the document.

1 What is this problem occurs for all documents scanned on the printer?
2. don't you make changes to the printer prior to this problem?
You can try to clean the glass of the scanner with a q-tip and try to scan a document once more to check the status.

Have you tried to go to the Lexmark site and see if it is has updated drivers for Windows 7 for your specific printer model? In addition, if they do not have those for Win7, you can try to use the Vista drivers (not guaranteed). Remember, if your printer is a former model, she has no drivers for the newer versions of Windows.

Why my Vista operating system will not support a lexmark Printer series s600?
I spent the last two hours trying to set up my 'Wireless' Lexmark S605 so I can print from my laptop 32 bit Windows Vista. I followed the instructions given in the installation process and used the installation cd, but was still unable to print from my laptop. Then, I downloaded the software and complete drivers (which was the last updated February 2013) from the manufacturer's website. The first error message that I got was one of the pilots be found / had failed to install. The second error message I got was:
"Your operating system cannot support a lexmark s600 series printer. Installation cannot continue. »
What can I do to solve this problem, if anything? (in addition to buying a new laptop which doesn't have Vista)

I have a Lexmark 2600 Series 3-in-1 printer. It is supposed to be able to scan. However, I can't figure out how to parse the files and I've lost the installation disc. However, the printer is already installed on my computer. I can't analyze. Can someone help me on how to scan files with this printer? Or, is there something I need to do first before that I can use the scanner fuction?

I've upgraded to windows Vista 8. I use a Lexmark 7600 Series and then continue to get a message «Microsoft.NET Framework version 2.0» required I want to continue to use the productivity studio which came with this all-in-one printer, but go to the Microsoft site and there are several requests options, updates, documents, etc., what is my best option? Do I need another printer?
From what I've seen, Productivity Studio is not compatible to Windows 8. Uninstall the printer and reinstall by using only the most recent drivers. At least you can print.

Thank you for helping me to get my laptop working again - after contacting the Microsoft Community, Microsoft and my ISP, my email seems to work so I can get all my incoming messages.
But I'm still having a problem printing. I tried to uninstall the Lexmark S605 and I get the message error "series Lexmark S600 is currently in use. Wait until the printer has finished printing and then uninstall. "I get this message even if the printer is turned off and unplugged.
Before I tried to uninstall, I tried to update the drivers from the Lexmark site and it says the update was successful, but nothing prints. Printer is no longer supported by Lexmark. Wireless connects, but I have also tried to make it work using the USB connection.
Printer print wireless from office, but not my laptop.
Does anyone have an idea on how to uninstall the Lexmark program?

Cancel all Documents

My printer is having communication problems. The iMac recognizes the printer, but once the print queue appears, he says he has trouble communicating with the printer.

Lexmark 5200 series printer printing stopped
