  My Lexmark all in one scanner printer etc has stopped printing it crosses the movements but not of any color of ink appear on the 'impressions' page, even if the other black was still ink but that did not work, I put a new black cartridge in the machine to know once again it appeared to print the alignment page but again not ink - then he said that maybe the film had been left on the cartridge - have you checked the two - there no - I came back just to hospital and of the need to print some important documents - help please - someone suggested I find instructions for the machine to clean the ink nozzles but went on the default printer and device (Lexmark) and cannot find one command option to clean the ink nozzles - what? - and if so where is that order please?  Thank you Carole x

  From what I've seen, Productivity Studio is not compatible to Windows 8.  Uninstall the printer and reinstall by using only the most recent drivers.  At least you can print.

  To enter in safe mode follow the steps below:

• Why my Vista operating system will not support a lexmark Printer series s600?

  I spent the last two hours trying to set up my 'Wireless' Lexmark S605 so I can print from my laptop 32 bit Windows Vista. I followed the instructions given in the installation process and used the installation cd, but was still unable to print from my laptop. Then, I downloaded the software and complete drivers (which was the last updated February 2013) from the manufacturer's website. The first error message that I got was one of the pilots be found / had failed to install. The second error message I got was:

  "Your operating system cannot support a lexmark s600 series printer. Installation cannot continue. »

  What can I do to solve this problem, if anything? (in addition to buying a new laptop which doesn't have Vista)

  I had the to printer Lexmark 2200 series for many years, but now when I scan a document on my printer a black band appears at the bottom of the scanned document as it is transferred to my computer.  I then open the document in the paint to clear the black strip before I can use the document.

  Does anyone have an explanation for that?

  1 What is this problem occurs for all documents scanned on the printer?

  2. don't you make changes to the printer prior to this problem?

  You can try to clean the glass of the scanner with a q-tip and try to scan a document once more to check the status.
