I apologize if it goes somewhere else, but I couldn't find a complete match to my question. I am creating a form in Acrobat X, which can be sent on a Web site, downloaded up to 2000 people, filled and sent to me. I recognize that there may be a better way to do this via some kind of direct web interface, but I am not able to do. I want to 'collect responses' instead of printing each form and hand - enter the answers (the current method). The people filling out the form will have probably some variation of drive. I tried the form "distribute", and then he posted on an internal shared drive to test, but no one was able to modify the form except the typewriter tool. Use a type mailto URL to specify the e-mail address of the recipient, making sure to keep all lowercase and no space. You can then compile the FDF (or XFDF) files from users, as explained above.

A more reliable approach is to submit to a web server, but then you must have a server script that processes applications.
