  In my infinite wisdom [;-)] I decided to turn on the possibilities of research with Office 2010 while I was in Outlook.  Since then, ProcessSearchHost has been sucking up to nearly 50% of my cycles CPU.  Now, I know I can disable Windows Search in Services.  I keep opening and closing the laptop flip when I leave the office and go out and about.

  (1) what are the advantages/disadvantages of ProcessSearchHost.exe being all the time?

  (2) any problems with on / off whenever I have "fancy"?

  (3) the HSP (ProcessSearchHost.exe) restarts at the beginning every time?  If it restarts to exactly where it left off?  It restarts... Well, where it restarts (if this is the case)?

  (4) any ideas on how long I should wait for the 1 TB HD circulating as 650GBish in use?

  Part of the use of 650 GB is VMware and SQL DBs.  I probably have 50 GB of 'my orders', but I know that the HSP does not know what is 'my stuff '!

I had a lot of problems with Firefox for a while now, especially when it comes to videos/animations (I can't play the videos of Vine.co , for example), and it starts to make it difficult for me. I really don't want to switch to Chrome, I don't trust of Google and their browser doesn't have a lot of key functions I like in Firefox (such as the sidebar bookmarks < 3), so I really hope I can get help here.

  Chrome is a pain, I tried to go back and difficulty of Firefox (so far), and again, I think I found the problem. I should mention that I tried these 5 suggestions before, btw, and none of them got rid of the problem. And Yes, Chrome will work fine with Firefox running in the background, as I mentioned in my previous post.

  Then do a reset, press and hold home/sleep together until you see the apple logo and then release backup and then wait for the phone to start.

  Hi apdubois, it is useful to know that Flash is the problem but, as you point out, life without Flash is not very interactive.

  It is a standard orientation that addresses the most common reasons for problems of Flash in Firefox. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

  (1) make sure that all recorders/downloaders who interact with Flash media are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.

  (2) disable graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox and Flash

  (A) in Firefox, uncheck the box here and restart:

  the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced > General > "use hardware acceleration when available.
