• 6.3 Lightroom refuses to open after an automatic update Windows 10 Pro

  My computer refuses to open Lightroom 6.3 after my software has been updated automatically by SM.  When I try to open Lightroom, I get a message dialog informing me that Lightroom has been checking the integrity of the Lightroom Catalog.  After 20 seconds of audit, the dialog box disappears and the Lightroom program does not open.

  Hello, I scanned the community to see if there is no response yet, and couldn't find anything, so I apologize if this is a repeat, but I have a job in which I introduce pictures tomorrow, but I can no longer export from Lightroom after the automatic update of the CC. I tried the shortcut (shift/control/e) and I tried on the file menu, but all nothing happens. I also tried resetting preferences, no dice.   Steps to reproduce:

  -Produce an invalid DNG (a corrupt)

  -J' Iintroduce yourself in your catalog (replace valid)

  -Select the invalid image (or any group container) in Lightroom

  -Select "metadata-> Update DNG previews and metadata.

  -Wait until the heat death of the universe

  Actual results:

  -At the end of the universe, Lightroom has yet to alert the user and behaves as if the update is running (progress bar is visible but empty)

  Expected results:

  -Lightroom displays the same error popup displays for other processes as 'Validate the DNG files', allowing the user to see what pictures are problematic and fix them (by a restore from a backup)

  I bought and installed the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 DVD package in April 2015. This purchase was not the subscription of Lightroom/Photoshop CC 2015 US$ 9.99/month. Earlier, I had installed an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, which I missed in June 2015, because it was not economically justifiable to me. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 updates worked correctly until after the expiration of my Adobe Creative Cloud membership.

  Now, I find that I can no longer are met Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 updated software because my old Creative Cloud App Desk thinks I have a subscription expired for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 which is, of course, not true. When I try to update my purchased Lightroom software, takes it to process me my expired Creative Cloud Desk App telling me to upgrade my Creative Cloud Desk App. attempts to do so are not allowed because my Creative cloud subscription I voluntarily let expire won't let me.

  When I installed my purchase Adobe Photoshop Lightroom last April 6, I purposely used a new Adobe ID so this install would not interfere with my race then Adobe Creative Cloud membership.

  So now I'm in a catch-22 because my computer thinks my purchased, not subscribed, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 is part of my creative cloud expired subscription even if both were installed in two different Adobe ID.

  My question is how can I kill this unwanted and expired creative Cloud management application so that I can make the software updates on Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 bought the software (not subscribed)?

• Lightroom 6 crashes after launch. New update.

  I upgraded LR 4 form to standalone LR 6. No installation or upgrade issues. Now when I run LR overall the program is displayed and then everything freezes. Finally, I have a program that is not responding do not message. So far, I have:

  (1) delete the SLcache folder

  (2) re-installed program

  (3) saw a message in the support forum that says there's a 6.0.1 update I should install from the Update menu. But given that the program crashes I can't. I'm NOT a Subscriber CC so I can't update the desktop CC either application.

  (4) contacted Adobe chat 'support', who said that they do not have a technical support by chat, and I must post my problem on the forums. So here I am.

  (5) used the words to describe this frustration that my wife says that I must now wash my mouth with the SOAP.
