  Using in the edition browser, the images cannot be replaced. News cannot be added via IBE.

• Problem with Lightroom after importing new photos

  How is it my recent photos (only from photos taken in October) "black" a suite import to ligthroom? Everything is fine with the original raw files and I do exactly as I usually do. I have the latest edition of Mac OS X on my Mac and I just installed the latest updates for Lightroom

  Well, I had my all wrong setting. I got the box "size adjustment" checked and ProRGB (no idea what that means, but my printer and Shutterfly didn't like it, must be for special photo labs), however, I updated my settings now: "adjust size' unchecked 'sRGB'"300ppi"and hone for paper Matt. PERFECT! It works everytime now. So happy!

• Cannot add new photos to an existing event

  I am a user of first time Organizer items 11. I imported all my photos from iphoto and I'm busy to create albums, events, etc geo tagging.

  I love the view of events which is what convinced drag me from iphoto, however sound incredibly frustratng having created an event to then find you have missed one or two photos and want to add them to the event, it seems impossible without removing the event, and then creating another.

  Am I really thick or adobe missed this use case. I would have thought it was a pretty obvious requirement.

  Double-click an event to see all thumbnails. Then click on the button add media downstairs. Select your photo (s) and click on Add selected media items, and then click done.

• Added new photos to an existing building?

  How can I add new photos to an existing building.  I got 300 + photos tagged and imported.  The first version of the book used 87 and is all that now appears when I open the book.  I wish I had the 300 + original photos appear so new can be added to the existing structure.

  Make sure that the book is saved. Return to the library, then drag the other images in the book collection.

• Lightroom can't see photos of source when you try to import

  6 of Lightroom on Apple - updates all day.

  In import dialogue Lightroom "see" the new photos of source, either on the hard drive, an external hard drive or camera card. Disks are ok and photos are visible in the folder outside of lightroom structure and are visible to other programs such as picasa, so doesn't seem to be a problem for apple. Problem appeared about 2 weeks ago. Have you tried updates etc but the problem persists. Please help, thanks, Pat Russell

  Is this a case of click the border around the image rather than the image itself real? You can't drag the border. You must click directly on the image.

  He seemed to have solved this problem - the catalogue of the old computer has been saved as a zip file. Once extracted, it could be used as the primary catalog for lightroom on the new computer

  Yes, you can save the previous book and start a new one.

  There will be an option for 'Create saved book '.

• Add multiple photos at a time from Lightroom Mobile?

  Hi people,

  While trying the new Premiere Clip 2.0, I discovered the following strange behavior:

  -When adding photos to a clip is my files cloud creatives or the camera on my iPad, I can choice those multiple-> that is tapping on the active photo / disables a check mark on the image, and I can check and then import all I want at once.

  -When adding photos to a clip of Lightroom Mobile however, that same "multiple selection" feature doesn't seem to be there: click the photo shows directly this photo (i.e. displays only this photo in a 'full size' / detail view), as well as a button below to open this picture. If you press this button, not surprisingly, it opens / adds this one photo just and closed the import dialog box. !

  In other words: it is extremely painful to add several photos from Lightroom to first Clip to create a slideshow, because you have to do a...

  (BTW: maybe there's a kind of hidden or non-obvious fixing 'secret handshake' to select several images on the screen of mobile import of LR, but I can't find it.) I tried 'long-pressure' on the image, but that did nothing. I also tried that in the big picture / screen collection to see if Clip would let me add an entire collection - not even enter it--but also without success.)

  So either I'm missing something here, or it's really some sort of "have an omission"... to not use the ugly word 'bug'. ;-)

  certainly a limitation of functionality in the Clip!

  However as a workaround I may suggest you choose 'Create a video in the Clip' in mobile Lightroom collection or the action menu of grid.

  This will create a video clip with all the images in this specific collection.

  No, it's OK.

  Now go back to the library and drag photos from the book as if you add photos to a collection. As a tip, do a right-click the book and set it to the target collection. You can then press the B button to add photos. Once you have finished, click on the book, the s icon and return to the book.
