  Today, 24/04/15, downloaded and installed Lightroom cc 2015 on my machine WIN 7 Dell 8300 Desktop.  The icon appears on the desktop, but it does not open.  I find the .exe file and double clicked on it and it opens either.  The list of installed programs shows that Lightroom was installed today, but it does not open.  I am currently in Lightroom 5.x, Photoshop cc 2015 and they always start ok; they have been also updated this afternoon.  Anyone have the same experience and determine what needs to be done to correct the installation?

• Lightroom 6.0 does not open

  Hello, I bought Lightroom 6.0 in 2015 Dec (not membership of the creative cloud - just the application). I have used it very well, but do not have the last couple months. When I go to open the application, the wheel just keeps spinning with Lightroom front page showing version 6.0. Nothing happens and the application does not in fact. I thought to uninstall but don't know if I can re - stall it now. I know there have been a few updates to the 6.0 version, but because the application does not open, and I can't actually click on anything on the top tool bar of Lightroom, I don't know what to do. • My Photoshop CC 2015 does not open.

  My Photoshop does not open. The PC reacts as if its about to open Photoshop (mouse turns into a little loading circle, hard drive speeds up slightly, etc.), but then everything goes back to normal. No Photoshop. It even appears in the list of processes for a brief moment before disappearing again. West no error message.

  Note: I Don t know if it would help, but I had it installed in an old computer and it worked without problem. However, my burning motherboard. I couldn t uninstall photoshop before my motherboard replacement. Now, I m using a different material to front.

  I've updated to 5.5 Lightroom using creative Cloud, but the program does not open. I uninstalled and installed again, rebooted and logged on as a different user, but none of these things has solved the problem.

  Your solution did not work for me, but uninstalling and installing from a direct download worked. Unfortunately, the creative cloud app has been a major problem for me. Most of the time it doesn't, opening with only a white space. He did not always that lately, but the problems always arise with its use. • Lightroom CC (2015) does not load

  When I try to open Lightroom CC (2015), nothing happens.  Manager tasks indicates as loaded Lightroom with about 28% cpu - so anything that happens in the background.  I logged in and out of the clouds creative and restarted Windows 10, but it does not work.  Even if by chance I get on it to open it, it just sits there with "Loading" on the screen.  It's about two weeks ago and I am really frustrated.  What is the reference for this?  Any ideas?

  It will not be restored automatically. My understanding is that after upgrading to the next version, it will be necessary to filter the images concerned, select all, Ctrl / Cmd + S to write metadata (in order to keep all work performed since importation), then do file metadata reading to get the lenses update info.

• Export jpg from Lightroom 5.6 does not open in other applications

  Recently, I noticed that the exported jpgs of Lightroom 5.6 cannot be opened in Canon DPP 3.14 and cannot be resized using Image Resizer plugin. Two of them that I use frequently.

  It's a problem with 5.5 (changed the placement of some of the internal headers of JPGs and other applications, including the DPP, could not open them), but has been corrected to 5.6. I just check on it by exporting a jpg file and open it without problem in PLR 3.14.15, Windows 7 x 64. Are your 'old' LR 5.5 jpgs?
