limit file size exceeds in cold backup

Hi all

I use oracle 10g database (10.2.0.1.0) in Red hat Enterprise Linux 5 OS.

While taking cold backup on external support, I got error,
"Exceed the file size limit."
Actual size of the file is 9 GB. but it will take only 4 GB rest. 5Gb, no error saved and giving,
file size limit is over.

How I can fix this error.

Help me.

Thank you.

I think that, this command

ALTER system set db_recovery_file_dest_size is 9 GB scope = spfile;.

to increase the size of the flash recovery area.

but, I do cold backup at the level of the BONE. Is this possible.

guide me.

Then its related OS level and I think that OS is not support this.

There is no specific substitutions that solve this problem 'in configuration and only few implementation".

The point is that you should follow the following steps:

    1. check the size of the file after writing a new segment of report data.

    2. If size > configured the file size, create a new file. Write a footer in the previous file, duplicate the header for the new file information and store the handle to file for all the previous files.

    3. once the test is complete, update the header in all files (remember: the header contains the overall result of the ESA.) This is known only when the test is finished!) and finalize all the report files.

In the plugins default report, none of the above functions is applied.

You want may also focus on 'File offline results' as a reporting mechanism. It might be easier to change things using this approach, unless you go the recommended manner: database.

  • "Content generation error. The article exceeds the maximum file size limit.

We build an application editing simple for our University literary and arts magazines and have no problem image previewed through the adobe Viewer application, but when we try to create a Folio so that we can begin the process of the App Store, we continue this annoying error. He refuses to export a folio.

The links folder associated with the indesign file is 474 MB.

The folder that contains all the files associated with the app Indesign is 537 MB.

Then, how we are exceeding the 1 GB file size?

    Details:

115 pages in a single article (we converted from the printed version, rather than placing each piece in a section of clean toys. Is this a problem?).

All the images (about 50) are less than 1 MB png files and videos have been exported to mp4 (total 370 MB of video - have - we need to switch to streaming?)

Each page contains a link button to the home screen. And at least one, or even two, WHO (for a picture full screen or popup bio of the author.

3 pieces mp3 audio is not significant in size.

We have removed the foreign States of the OSM.

Our PNG files are sized to a maximum width to 2048px.

The file .indd himself is 58 MB

Without HTML overlays, but we have 5 or 6 hyperlinks that launch the browser.

All guess why we are incapable of generating a folio with this article?

Is it possible to audit our project to see what the problem is?

We scoured these forums and applied the advice that seemed relevant, so your patience and recommendations would be a great help.

It is design and incredibly bad practice. Break it up and start from

    It's not big a job.

  • Folio file size limit

In the past they were file folios and resources of folio size limits. I believe that folios and resources could not go more than 100MB.

Is their a limit of size of file with a folio and its resources? What is the limit?

What happens if the limit is exceeded?

    Dave

Article size is currently limited to 2 GB. We have seen individual articles of 750 MB in size but as mentioned previously, you don't start hitting timeout problems of downloading content of this size. We are currently implementing a maximum article size based on the practical limits of download and download times and stricken timeout values.

This review will be applied at the time of article creation, and you cannot create more than our maximum size items. Please note that we are working on the architectural changes that will allow the creation of more content, but that will take time to implement.

Currently to get the best performance, you should have all your content on your local computer (not on a network drive), close all additional applications, get the machine the fastest as possible, with the most memory. The article size is directly proportional to the speed at which you can group an article and get it uploaded to the server.

  • cRIO FTP transfer file size limit

    Hello

I generated a data file on my cRIO which is about 2.1 GB in size. I can't transfer this file to the cRIO via FTP. I tried windows FTP Explorer, the built in MAX file transfer utility, coreFTP and WinSCP. I am able to transfer other files on the cRIO which are smaller in size.

Is there a file size of FTP transfer limit? It is around 2 GB? Is that all I can do to get this file out of the camera?

    Thank you!

OK, I was informed that there is a CAR on this #252919 issue. VxWorks cRIO targets cannot FTP of files greater than 2 GB. The workarounds are to transfer on a USB key or upgrade to LV2013 and use WebDAV.

  • For MP3 file size limit?

I have the Sansa Fuze 8 GB with 16 GB Sandisk microSD, firmware version v02.01.17A card.
Internal memory has 48.1 MB free external card has 4.72 GB free.
    3419 mp3 files, 281 records

I record internet radio directly to MP3 (mp3directcut) for my weekend road trip and usually have a file size of 700 MB (8-10 hours of audio). I had a problem with VBR in that the "rocket" wouldn't report the length correctly, nor fast towards the before or rewind properly.

The files themselves are playing very well, but try to fast forward the commercials would never work properly. Sometimes she would fast 30 seconds, then I would press fast forward but it would in fact 5 minutes earlier. I know it's a problem with VBR then I was recording with CBR. Are all my songs mp3 VBR however and they work very well in all respects.

Recording to the CBR presented a new problem, the player will just lock up and stay insensitive. This occurred after 90 minutes of reading, but as soon as 10 minutes. The "rocket" can cut or just hang. In both cases, it won't power back upward. I finally found a way to place it again by connecting to the PC (the player has no connect or lights in itself), press for 30 seconds, release taken, then lights up normally.

Is there a size limit to the actual file on the "rocket" or anyone has any ideas on how to play these big mp3 files? Did anyone tried larger files with Ogg or WMA?

You must have 90 free MB on memory on your rocket to make it work properly!  Having said that here will tell you to leave 200 MB free on the internal memory precisely for this reason...  George

  • FLA file size limit?  Reducing the size of the FLA.

I am a coder and work with a colleague who makes the graphics in illustrator and then copy/pastes them to animate Adobe.

At present, the FLA file size is 152 000 KB and the SWF file is 13, 900KO.

Currently, it cannot bring in any new graphics in Illustrator without Adobe animate crashing.  Also it takes a very long time to open the file, or apply simple alterations.

Is there a limit to the size of the of the FLA?  What is the optimal way to bring Illustrator images to the timeline?

    Thank you

    Gregory

You can use a different charger on each image to load images to an external file. There are coding of ways to do this, but there is a component called UILoader, and all you have to do is enter the source on the Properties tab.

  • My store of data of 16 TB limit of file size of 2 TB

Hello.  We have just received a new Dell PowerEdge R630 server with ten 2 TB drives in what I set up as a RAID5.  It is a server that I use in our new site of DR and will be a replication target site.  In any case, I installed the latest version of ESXi on it and it attached to my new vCenter server and then naturally had the precaution to create a data store.  So, through the process of doing this, I noticed at the end it says that there is a maximum file size limit of 2 TB.  See the attachment for my screenshot of it.  I don't know why this is, and in my research, I read that TB 62 is the maximum now.  I'm completely something misunderstanding?  My main concern is that I must be able to replicate my VMs in my production environment, running on an EMC SAN with NFS storage, my DR site using this new server in the target data store.  Some of my production virtual machines have vmdk files more than 2 TB; which is a matter of concern for this reason.  Any advice would be great! Thank you, Adam

What exactly is this "latest version of ESXi" you are talking about? On ESXi 5.5 and later versions, VMFS5 supports a maximum file size of 62 to

    According to the VMware KB:

Support of the disks of VMS over 2 TB in VMware ESXi 5.5 (2058287) | VMware KB

Block the size of a VMFS data store limitations (1003565) | VMware KB

The limits that apply to VMFS-5 data storage are:

The maximum size of virtual disk (VMDK) is 2 TB minus 512 B to ESXi 5.0 and 5.1. In ESXi 5.5, size is passed to 62TB.

If you are on 5.5 or 6.0, then I think that it is simply a cosmetic display bug in the c# Client. Among other new features, the deprecated c# client limits you to create VMDK up to 2 TB. You must use the Web Client to create and manage a VMDK more 2 TB, so maybe it's an indication that remained from previous versions of Client.
