  I know, there was a problem with earlier BIOS which limited to 3.2 GB, but the details for an update to download claim it fixes the problems of mapping memory for 4 > = configurations.

  The Inspiron 530 will support up to 8 GB memory.  Dell gave the 530 with 6 GB with a 64-bit operating system.

  I read on documentation (http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/inspd530/en/OM/HTML/parts.htm#wp1580857) when I install memory I need to remove the PCI Express x 16 card... I don't understand. I thought adding ram was simple and all you had to do is open the case, insert the ram and secure them correctly and then close the case. Start the pc and it's done.

  Dell is not offering Win7 drivers for this model. I suggest you go here and read some of the links on the upgrade to Windows 7. Run the Win 7 Upgrade Advisor first to see what it says on your system.

  Without knowing what equipment you have (for example, video card, sound card, network adapter, etc.), it is impossible for anyone to tell you exactly what drivers you need. In some cases, but not all cases, Vista 64-bit drivers can work. The Vista 64 drivers are here. (Confirms that he says again Vista 64-bit upstairs when you load the page!)   I guess you have the Inspiron 530 mini tour with the 300w/350w PSU and not the version of Slimline s 530, with a power of 250w.

  MT 530 systems were built with two different models of motherboards.

  If your 530 has been purchased with either a Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual-Core, Celeron processor and a 300w power supply, this system usually involves an 0RY007/G679R/CU409 [FoxConn G33m02] motherboard which only supports LGA 775 Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual-Core and Celeron processors and 4 GB of RAM.
     
  If your Inspiron 530 minitower shipped with a LGA 775 Core 2 Quad processor and a 350w power supply, you have the motherboard [FoxConn DG33m03] of 0FM586.
     
  The card mother 0FM586 can be used for both Quad 4 and Core 2 Duo processors and can support 8 GB of RAM, with a 64-bit operating system

  The G33m02 is a [cheaper] depopulated version of the motherboard that has only a voltage regulator IC 6, rather than regulators 11 voltage on the motherboard G33m03, that supports the processors Core 2 Duo and Quad Core.

  The card mother G33m02 can be replaced by the motherboard G33m03, but food must also be replaced by a unit 350w +, instead of the default 300w unit installed with the card mother G33m02.

  The Red Cross means that you cannot use Windows 8 in your pc. You can have problems with an upgrade. You'd be better off buying a full installation of Windows 7.

  7750 HD is the best card you can get without upgrading your diet after the HD 6670 and the HD 6570.  Forget the HD 5450 or GT 210 for the games.  You will have much more luck find the display port you want in the HD 7750 against each other.

  Ports: Glancing at the back of the machine and along the bottom row I see the DVI port and also have an HDMI port and a Mini DisplayPort connector. Above left is the VGA port, which is capped.

  Monitors, I have so far:

  1. Dell SP2900W, I ordered with the machine came with VGA and DVI - D cables (single) (+ USB), always used connected to DVI (w USB).
  2. Dell U2713HM, came with VGA and DVI - D (dual) cables (+) USB

  Experience: I can get a monitor to work individually, using the DVI port. But if I try to plug into the VGA port, individually or in combo with the other DVI, I get the dreaded "added to the graphic card" message at startup - my novice research tells me that the VGA port is currently not usable because of the Radeon 3650 and I think the message tells me to give up on the VGA and only use the DVI port. But I only have a DVI port.

  One thing about the USB cables, I also understand should be plugged in at the same time as the DVI, I plugged them into a D-Link DUB - H7. There is a free USB port on the rear of the machine and four in the front, if I need to stop using the D-link for monitors, please let me know.

  So please, gods of all things Dell, do - do I have to get my goal?

  1. Change the BIOS to re - enable VGA (how and will I want to use the DVI and VGA ports?)?

  The keyboard, mouse and the two upstream monitor USB cables must be plugged directly into the rear USB ports on the Inspiron 530. All other USB devices must be plugged into the D - Link DUB - H7 which is plugged into one of the USB ports on the front of the Inspiron 530.

  1 = DVI monitor Video card--> cable DVI to DVI--> SP2009WFP DVI
  Monitor 2 = video card Mini DisplayPort--> mDP to DP cable--> port U2713HM DP

  In fact, of 3 choices you listed Asus 7770 has the best cooler, I'm fan NVIDIA but EVGA cards you listed have noisy fans. In addition, as I have not heard anything any case change, I can add that Asus has the most effective cooler of your 3 choices, MSI Cyclone GPU cooler (NVIDIA or ATI) is best for your original case - as you can see I've changed the case for cooling reasons.

  Before installing the processor, make sure you have BIOS Version 1.0.15 or a more recent version, when support for the new Intel processor has been added.
