  • Is there a method to limit the search area of VI?

    Hello

    It is well known that LabVIEW has a dealing with trap multi files with the same name. It may be worse, because I can not find a method to restrict the search to a specific region. For example, I have two project files: A and B. When I creat files for A, I used several VI b and copy them into A. But I don't want to intelligently search B more far. I want it invites that are necessary! But they just automatically get everything they need in B. It's boring.

    The path parameter search option cannot stop him. Even if I clean the search path, it just all get b.

    Thank you

    You use a LabVIEW projects? If this isn't the case, I highly recommend that you start using them. They help a little by eliminating linking crossed so that make it easy to correct cross linking errors when they occur.

  • How to limit the search to only certain web browsing websites?

    Hey, guys!

    I would like to know how to limit my computer to certain websites. I know how to set up parental controls, but I don't want to do that. I would like to limit the administrator account, but Windows won't let me because I am the administrator. Is there another way to do this? What I try to do is set up the computer so that it has access to some Web sites (similar to what you can do with parental controls). I don't want to block certain websites. I want to access some Web sites only and does not allow the computer to access all websites except those on the list to. Is there a way to do this? Is there a way the administrator to do without having to set up another account username or account of parental control?

    Thank you.

    R. best

    There is not a way to make this built-in function.  I'm sure there are programs online that can help you (although as an administrator, you can always circumvent or disable the software).

    If you want to only block some sites, you can change your hosts file.  However if you want to block "everything but a small number", it would be impossible because you can block only - not allow - sites using the hosts file.

  • Search in the directory business - you can limit the search?

    We incorporate another company on our box of the unit. Is it possible, when they search the business directory to search ONLY within their business for them? Also when they press zero while voicemail is it possible to send to their operator as opposed to our operator? (I'm under unity 4.03 SR1)

    Thank you inadvance for your comments.

    You can segment the research of information for external callers using the name search managers, but for subscribers speaking the other subscribers, they always get the address list full of all users.

    The unit has no services tenent features as what you describe - there are some things you can do (that is, you can have the 0 on the greetings of the user key go to the appropriate operator), but you cannot segment the directory completely. Check out the book 'Audiotext Applications in unity' on the Documents page of the www.CiscoUnityTools.com for some details about what you can/Can ' t do regarding type tenant applications today.

  • Limit the search to only the files with the exact search term

    I have Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 and I hate this search feature.  Is it at all possible to restrict it to precisely the name of the file I'm looking for?  Say, for example, I'm looking for a folder called "the gate".  Is it possible to continue the research to return each file with the words or door in it?  I don't mind if it returns the file formats different but 732 files returned by the word or door.  Help would be greatly appreciated.

    If you mean that you are looking for a name of file exactly and not only a phrase without worrying, you can get what you want if you use a special syntax, and include the file name extension:

    name: = "door.txt.

    Note that we have no ability to distinguish between upper and lower case sensitive in Windows 7 search.

    If you want to match the name regardless of their file extension, you need a wildcard character, the asterisk.  However, the "equal" sign does not accept wildcards, but the tilde then otherwise as equal to sign for correspondence.

    name: ~ "the door.*.

  • How can I limit the search code in prepareForDML method

    Hi all

    In my case, I created an IMPL class for entity where I override the prepareForDML() method and write the code.

    This code is executed when I change to the attribute approveStatus on the table of the adf and push the button of validation (from DC).

    That's fine, but the problem is that now I have change on another attribute of the same claimed_by vo and press on commit prepareForDML() method call and same code runs again once I don't want this want to prepareForDML() method of derivation. or part of the code will not run.

    Concerning
    Manish

    You can check if the desired attribute has been changed or not before you run your method

      protected void prepareForDML(int i, TransactionEvent transactionEvent)
      {
        if(this.isAttributeChanged(YourAttributeIndex))
        {
          //execute your code
        }
        super.prepareForDML(i, transactionEvent);
      }

  • The search in Vista problems

    I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit and am shocked by the inept research system.  There is absolutely no way to search for a file in ways other than by name.  I am looking for a picture or a file that was taken on a date in December 2010 or January 2011 and there is no specific name attached.  Windows XP allowed me to search by date so it makes absolutely no sense to have removed this possibility in an upgraded operating system.

    Any suggestions are appreciated except where you open the Windows Photo Gallery and see the dated files.  I do not use this program for all images, it does not appear in this viewer.  Also, I often need to search for files by date and photo gallery would not be appropriate to this need.

    Windows 7 [I don't know Vista] - If you click in the search box, a small drop-down menu appears that has a couple of keys in blue, click on date modifed, you can define a single date or a range, and then enter a keyword, if necessary [elephant or everything that you might have used the name of the photo or the properties] and back / click the search icon.

    Additional improvements [similar to Ronnie]

    I used the method of Ronnie put up a saved in my documents search using the keyword 'file' - it takes several seconds to run during the implementation, but then runs quickly in the real job.  I click on this shortcut to search [saved in Windows explore, Favorites] and enter the keyword required for the task in hand [elephant or other] and then he looks as intended to elephant in my documents [why I 37 files containing that Word is beyond me].

    You can restrict the search by using the key

    name:

    and it will limit the search to files whose name contains the word elephant [8 results].

    I used the example that I had put in place to avoid errors in my explanation.  You can use any other search terms.  The syntax is http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/desktopsearch/default.mspx

    and I think you'll find a key to use for the photos [it is a long document, so it takes time to study].

    I hope it's clear.  It is more complicated to implement than just using the date filter, but could save you time if you do this research frequently.

    Good luck

  • Windows Live Photo Gallery - how to increase the limit of tag 1010 people on the search function

    The search function in Windows Live Photo Gallery people tags seems to be an arbitrary limit of 1010 different tags (1000 in the alphabetical list + the 'Top 10'). Is there a way to get around this?

    When I used the Vista Photo Gallery and my tags 'people' were just a subset of 'descriptive' tags that I created, I could find just a name on the left panel. Not sure why it isn't a section he tags in the version of Windows Live people. If you put arbitrary limitations on the functionality of Visual search 'whizz bang', it would be nice if there was a relief when it does not work.
    Is return to the starting point - maybe somewhere where the limit is stored in the registry and it can be increased or an another workaround?

  • limit the advanced search fields

    Hello
    as far as I know, you should be able to limit the areas exposed to the user in the advanced search with the R18.
    I am not able to find the place to set this up. Any tips?

    Thanks in advance
    Michael

    Michael, tere is a new privilege called "all areas of research and lists of" who controls if a user sees all available fields or only the links in the Registration Details page.

    Is it possible to limit the options of 'Record Type' in the 'Search' section in the disposition of the action bar for users specific role.

    Mahesh, if you uncheck the box to go to step 2 of the role that you would restrict access to these types of records in the section of the application and research in the action bar.

  • Limit the number of results when searching for users?

    Hi all.

    The following rule works very well:
      <invoke name='toList'>
        <invoke name='listObjects'>
          <ref>context</ref>
          <s>User</s>
          <map>
            <s>conditions</s>
            <list>
              <new class='com.waveset.object.AttributeCondition'>
                <s>DEFERREDTASKDATE</s>
                <s>notPresent</s>
                <s></s>
              </new>
            </list>
          </map>
        </invoke>
        <s>name</s>
      </invoke>
    But in the production environment, we want to limit the number of results to a manageable level, say 200 users. I tried resultLimit and LignesMax in the stock option plan, but nothing helped.
    Pointers to help me in the right direction?

    Best regards
    Stefan

    The JavaDoc for AttributeCondition does not list these operators or conditions.

    You will need to add conditions to your query that limits the response by other means.

    I don't know what your user name looks like, but for us, we have an ID for each account that you could put limits to

    i.e.

    UserID > current_place and userid< current_place="" +="">

    that, if the user name is a number, would limit the answer to a maximum of limit, but if no user is in the meantime it would obviously be zero.

    the alternative is to create your own rule to query the repository on your own and use the resulting data to browse normal calls.
    It's a bit heavy if you use attributes that are not available at hand, only existing in the xml BLOB

    I also think that you could make your own javaclass and do the same thing, but I'm just not proficent in java as to who try here: P

  • iBooks only to English in the search result.  How do I do that?

    I like to search the store iBooks on my MacbookPro by author then sort by release date.

    The problem is that I get all sorts of unwanted results, most of the time with

    several books of the author I was looking for.

    I also get a lot of books in other languages listed, but I am only interested in English

    novels so is there a way to limit my search to English only and also move

    the inclusion of many independent authors to my research?

    As far as I know, there is no way to filter searches by language, but there should be.

  • How can I limit the number of Web sites on the new tab page?

    Is there a setting where I can limit the number of thumbnails / Web sites that appear on the new tab page? When I opened a new tab - I don't want to see tons of sites I have visited - but also, I don't want to delete them all. For example - there is a setting where the new tab page displays the last ten sites I've visited - with all my pinned sites?

    There are two settings 'hidden' for this 'grid '.

    Browser.newtabpage.Columns

    and

    Browser.newtabpage.Rows

    Type of topic: config in the URL bar and press ENTER.

    So put . browser.newtabpage in the top search bar.

    Each of these preferences in the lower panel right-click and select Edit. Then change the value default of 3 for each of these preferences to what you prefer, for "pinned" both sites all browsing history you want to appear in the 'grid '.
