  This codec, XDCAM 50 PAL is a non square HD codec and the size of the image is defined by the codec. If you choose XDCAM EX you can get the square pixels, but you have a flow lower and 4:2:0 color. This is a limitation of the format XCCAM that you're stuck with.

  You can choose another format option. Most of them have predefined sizes. It just depends on what you're trying to deliver and to WHO. If it's for the broadcasters all have their own set of standards that should be followed.

• H.264 + Minnetonka export format over-codes for Dolby

  I noticed that it is only possible to select the surcode 5.1 Minnetonka in the export format "H.264 Blu - ray".

• Limited export options?

  I'm doing a simple video for YouTube.

  I saw a tutorial where the list of export options was much longer than my options.  There was an option for YouTube.  My list does not indicate that.

  What kind of actions cause the list export to become limited?  I shot the video in full HD with 1920 x 1080 with a Canon HF20.  I then choose the preset AVCHD 1080 p 30.

  Do not use QuiRcktime. Use another format like WMV. H.264 or MPEG2.

• Strange code after the export format

  Hi all

  I have problem with export to SQL program code, VIEWS of expatialy.

  When I right click > change the view, I feel I have good formatting like:

  SELECT

  A1,

  A2,

  A3

  OF tab1

  WHERE 1 = 1

  AND a1 = 12

  OR a2 = 100

  but when I want to export code with SQL developer or see the code via dbms_metadata.get_ddl, I get:

  SELECT a1, a2, a3FROM tab1

  WHERE 1 = 1 and a1 = a2 12OR = 100;

  Keywords like FROM are connected, this code is not valid to run it.

  Any suggestions?

  I found the answer.

  I set disable option: Preferences > database > SQL Formatter: AutoFormat Visible SQL and PL/SQL,.

  Then, every thing looks good and code exports as well.

• Almost without loss best export formats?

  I need to provide a ProRes format file to a place that shows my work. I don't have a Mac, but they offered us convert a file that I can export to FCP.

  I wonder what will be the best exports almost without loss for this? I considered Cineform but it's a video of m 87 and I imagine that the file size will be huge.

  Any suggestions on the best almost lossless formats whose size is low which should work with FCP would be very appreciated.

• EP 14.1 to YouTube - parameters and limits export?

  I saw nowhere to make the selection of PAL as with 13.1 PE (for BluRays PAL selection was also well behind the pace '25').

  Yes.  YouTube policies were a headache and are sometimes even.  My first use of YouTube attempts have been limited.  A teaching that video I required a part A and part B.  Somehow, YouTube me recognized OK user and granted me a limit longer.  I don't know what they are doing now.   You may be able to download your 35 minutes without problem.  And again, you can not!

  So my 13 x 20 shows that 13 x 20

  My 19.5 20.5 x is converted to 1.95 x 2.05

• Can't choose export format

  Hi fellow users of Indesign.

  Recently, I had a problem with my Indesign CC 2014. When I want to export or "save under" a file in Indesign on Mac, I don't get the format selector (see image below). I had this problem for the last few days. I did test with Illustrator and Photoshop and have no problem with these programs. InDesign is the only application affected. I use a Macbook pro with Mac OS X 10.10. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated because it is at work, I use Indesign CS5, so save files in different formats is essential to my workflow.

  A few other people have reported recently. I think that in both cases, what worked was to uninstall InDesign CC and reinstall.

  You can uninstall the desktop creative cloud application or by going to Applications > InDesign CC 2014 folder and using the uninstall program.

• export a project with several audio tracks changing volume level regardless of the export format

  Recently, I had to submit a TVC and discovered this first changed the power after export level, when the TVC has no quality control.

• Wraptor DCP missing for the export format

  Hello.

  I have a new install of Windows 7 64 bit and a new installation of first Pro CC 2014 8.1.0 (81) build.  When you open an earlier draft of first Pro CC I don't have the Wraptor DCP format for export.  If I create a new project and sequence and empty a video file on the timeline and try it and export, it's still not there.  I checked the plug-ins/common folder and I have the Wraptor.prm file in there.   I searched and searched the web and I have not seen a question like this before. I saw something about Oct is not yet supported, but I have a second Windows machine (Windows 7 64 bit) I installed body on and that's where.  I must emphasize that in again (build 8.1.0.122) miss me the system predefined with Wraptor DCP cinema too.  Will there be a sine qua non for the STC option that I missed?  I don't remember to do something special on the other machine to do this.  Note, I uninstalled both, and reinstalled to ensure it wasn't a failed installation.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  Solved my problem.  Apparently in the dam of Windows updates I haven't yet caught SP1.  Only downloaded once Wraptor DCP was now a selection in body and still.  Someone else who comes through this slot Windows 7, make sure that you have installed SP1.

  I export a document InDesign 50 * 50 to JPEG. But then the JPEG format become 209 * 209. What I am doing wrong?

  This happens because the InDesign document resolution is 72 dpi and you export jpeg at 300 ppi, so get increase the dimensions.

  If you want the exact size of the jpeg then a hack would be to do a mathematical calculation for the size of the page as 72 is 24% of the 300, size of the document should be 24% of all sizes of required jpeg, in your case 50 px. Size of the indd document should be 24% of the 50 and 12 px each, this will lead to 50 px jpeg.

• Limited record Formats?

  I tried to send a bunch of images by e-mail to my wife this morning.

  They were images of her jewelry that she sent to the galleries.

  All but 2 of them, I sent in the form of .jpg files (to keep the smaller size) but 2 of them were .tif files to begin with, and when I open them in Photoshop CS2 and their size, it wouldn't let me save as .jpg files, makes the save options were limited to a few formats such as png etc.

  I looked for a reason, but I don't see anything different about these files.

  They were in RGB 16-bit color mode.

  I saved in form of .psd files and then reopened them and tried again, but the formats were still limited.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  The rest of the images gave me the full length record formats.

  Older versions of Ps do not allow save in JPEG (which is always 8 bpc) a 16-bit/channel doc. Do "Image > Mode > 8-bit/channel" then you should be able to save in JPEG format.
