Linear trace on a Log axis

Hello

what I want to do is quite unusual (I think) so I'll explain the context:

I made a program that captures data out of a Spectrum Analyzer, correct these data with correction of the antenna and use screws "Limit Specification.vi" and "Testing.vi limit' to interpolate my data with a pattern. The goal is to verify that the parser data do not receive on the model.

Everything is put in a waveform graph, with a scale of X logarithm.

BUT the problem is that when I put X scale on 'connect' in properties of the graph, my model of representation is transformed into a newspaper-horrible-thing. I know that it works as expected, but my program is not useless because of this.

How can I do to make the 'Linear' interpolation in a logarithmic scale? Is it possible using the two screw limits, or not? I hope that Yes...

Here is a screenshot of the thing (impossible to reach my VI, is property of the company, I work for (I'm investment)).

Thanks for your future help!

You must use 10 ^ 4 to get 10 000. Then interpolate you x = 3.0... 4.0 and calculating 10 ^ x and plot these data.

  • Linear encoder and configure logging

    Hi all

    I am currently using a surfboard with LV2010 M Series PCI-6280.

I have a linear encoder in X 4 mode connected to the counter 0 and I was wondering if it is possible to spread the values on the counter because it keeps track of the distance in a file TDMS using 'DAQmx Configure Logging'.  I tried this using MAX to set this, but it doesn't seem to work, so I wonder if it is still possible that I couldn't find anything online about it.

    Thank you

    Lester

    Hi Lester,.

My apologies, I tried on another Committee. It can work with yours, as well. There is an example of a task of counter in the buffer that should allow you to save the data by adding in the Configure logging VI as we did before.

Open LabVIEW and select help > find examples... it will open the Finder of the example. In the Finder of the example, expand folders to get to the input and output material > DAQmx > Counter measures > County Digital events > County Digital events-buffer-meter-Ext Clk.vi

Put the meter right channel and channel PFI in the controls, and then run the VI to see what he does. Then you can change the schema to add the configuration Logging VI (just as before) and rerun the VI. You will find yourself with a TDMS log saved to the path that wire you in the logging VI configures.

    I hope this helps.

  • Blood trace on Distance reading

    Hello

I am trying to trace the readings of a cell voltage of charge (for blood pressure) on the movement of the origin of a linear actuator on the same axis.  I just want that the readings of the two while loops to enter a chart and draw the correlation between them.  Seems pretty simple, but all what I try, I can't get the table draw anything.  When I run the program in the execution of climax, it seems to stop at the end of the while loop and never feed all the data in the graph XY.  I don't know that it's just a rookie mistake that I have with the data type, or a failure to understand how the while loop needs to actually get the data to the next step.

Please let me know what I can do.

Is attached a photo of the VI and the VI himself.

    Thank you

    James

You need to understand why the While loop is coming to its end.  The way you put in place, it will run until an error has occurred.

If it stops on its own, this means that you get an error somewhere in your data acquisition sequence.  You should put an indicator on these screws to see which gives the error and why.

Once you figure that out, he must run forevever without giving an error.  This means that it will run forever without stopping the loop, you will never get any data.  You need a better way to stop the loop.  My suggestion would be a STOP button connected to the stop of the While loop condition.

  • How to add a secondary axis in a chart excel with labwindowsCVI?

    Hello
I am currently working on LabWindowsCVI and I treat my data in excel files. I use ExcelReport and Excel2000 instruments to build my data tables and my chart. Track, I use this function:
    ExcelRpt_ChartWizard (chartsheetHandle, ExcelWorksheetHandle, "A1: C619" ExRConst_XYScatterSmoothNoMarkers 0, ExRConst_Columns, 1, 1, 1, ' consumer mobile platform ","TIME (sec)"," current / voltage (in V & A) ", NULL);

In this configuration, column A is X axis and B & C (Y axis) my blood given respective & current.
My graphics are drawn correctly, but I find a problem, 2 curves are on the main axis and I want a trace on the main axis and the other on the secondary axis. I can not to display a secondary axis.
This action is possible with LabwindowsCVI function and if so, can you tell me which work?
    Thank you in advance,
    Nicolas

    Thanks a lot dcl9000.

I wrote these functions after that to trace my chart and the secondary axis appears .  It was necessary to create a second graphic handle to separate both my curve. Thanks to you, now I know a new function of Excel and I think that I will need in the future.

    Hello

So that the axis of the time to display, your data must be provided as java.util.Dates.

    Demo:

    http://jdevadf.Oracle.com/ADF-richclient-demo/faces/feature/graph/timeAxis.JSPX

    Doc of the tag:

    http://jdevadf.Oracle.com/ADF-richclient-demo/docs/DVT/tagdoc/dvt_areaGraph.html

    Doc link above tag:

    The time axis

The graph area displays a time axis when the dates (type java.util.Date object) are specified for the column labels. Several timeXXX attributes are defined on the chart tag to customize the time axis. The child tag timeAxisDateFormat control the format in which are displayed time axis labels.

You will also need to set the attribute timeAxisType on the chart.

    Valid values are the following:

    • TAT_DEFAULT - (default) gives an axis of discrete-time for bar, line, area, combination or graphics stocks and for all their subtypes, if the following conditions are met: (1) the Dates must be at the forefront of group and dates (2) must be held at regular intervals. Discrete time axis is plotted on the ordinal axis, which is also known under the name of the O1 - axis. This constant indicates the following relief position if the requirements are not met: the time axis is disabled and all labels are converted to strings.
    • TAT_IRREGULAR - provides an axis of continuous time on the x axis for bar, line, area or combination of graphics (only for dual-Y subtypes and split). Stacked charts are not supported. Additional requirements are: (1) the Dates must be on the edge of the group, the dates (2) must take place at regular intervals (sorted or unsorted), and (3) that a single dimension (layer) can exist on the edge of the group, if the data is provided via interface DataAccess. This constant indicates the following relief position if the requirements are not met: Dates (if any) are converted to strings, the time axis is disabled and an AlertEvent is triggered for all the AlertListeners that are saved with the graphic.
    • TAT_MIXED_FREQUENCY - provides an axis of continuous time on the x axis for bar, line, area, combination or dispersion for subtypes dual-Y and split graphs. Stacked charts are not allowed. Additional requirements are: (1) data cells must contain dates, (2) data to plot on the x-axis must be of type Date and (3) data to trace along the y-axis must be a number.
    • TAT_DEFAULT_STRICT - using discrete time axis, as described in TAT_DEFAULT, except that no fall-back position is available. If the conditions are not met, an error message appears.
    • TAT_IRREGULAR_STRICT - using continuous time axis as described in TAT_IRREGULAR, except that no fall-back position is available. If the conditions are not met, an error message appears.
    • TAT_MIXED_FREQUENCY_STRICT - using continuous time axis as described in TAT_MIXED_FREQUENCY, except that no fall-back position is available. If the conditions are not met, an error message appears.
    • TAT_OFF - disables the time axis.

    Hope this helps,

    ... ..
    .... ..

    Totally 294 trace files...

I checked some .trc files;  Almost have the same information.

    ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1
    Name of the system: Linux
    Name of the node: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    News Release: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Version: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Machine: xxxxxx
    Instance name: testdb
Redo thread mounted by this instance: 1
    Oracle process number: 0

    My question clear is:

    1. If the alert log contains details of the error, what is the purpose of trace in bdump files?
    2. why "n" no trace files created without useful information? (Almost with the same information]
    3. what type of information is usually stored in .trc files?

    What I know about tracefiles:

Each background process writes the trace files if an internal error has occurred.
    If I'm wrong, please correct.

Trace files and log alerts serve a different purpose. A simple way to think about it, is that the trace files are used when diagnosing problems. The alert log shows you what are the events are occurring in the database in general, flooding you don't not with unnecessary details. If the database crashed, the alerts log will tell you when the event happened, but the details of the process that crashed would be (I hope) in a trace file.

Some trace files are huge, and you certainly don't want them in the log of alerts because it would make it too big to be manageable or read.

For example, if a process crashes, the dumping process trace file to would be useful when you are working with Oracle Support to identify the problem. Or, if you want to see what a specific session, you can turn on tracing on it and and then format the trace with tkprof file to understand what made the session.

The documentation is a good summary:

    Trace files

A trace file is an administrative file containing diagnostic data used to investigate the problems. Trace can also, provide guidance for tuning applications or an instance, as explained in "Diagnostic and performance optimization.

    Types of Trace files

Each server and the background process can periodically write to a trace file. File information on the environment in the process, status, activities and errors.

The SQL trace facility also created trace files, which provide information of performance on individual SQL statements. To enable tracing for an identifier of the client, service, module, action, session, instance or database, you must run the procedures in the DBMS_MONITOR package or use Oracle Enterprise Manager.

A dump is a special type of trace file. Considering that track tends to be out of diagnostic data, a dump is usually a unique data output of diagnosis in response to an event (for example, an incident). When an incident occurs, the database writes one or more landfills in the incident directory created for the incident. Incident of discharges also contain the case number in the file name.

You are looking for the background_dump_dest in the database and not for ASM. I suspect that you have set the parameter above and the diagnostic_dest for instances of database as ' / u02/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/db_cos/db_1/trace ' and ' / u02/app/oracle ' respectively and for instances of the DSO as ' / u01/app/oracle.

Set the path of the CRS_HOME (path of the grid) and review the values.

    export ORACLE_SID=+ASM1
    export ORACLE_HOME=

I have a question on that. The last line will create a new listener.log file and new logs is written in that? So hot now I create a listener.log file and make sure the newspapers here.

    Thank you

    Hello

You can rename the listener log file by following the steps you mentioned in your first post on this thread.

    1. Set the listener log status to off.
    2. Rename the current listener.log file.
    3. Set the listener log status to on. Oracle automatically generates a new listener.log file.

Here is an example for you.

  • Where are the java.util.logging properties?

    Hello

We have a java code that is called from PL/SQL. The Java code uses java.util.logging to connect diagnostic and error messages.

    Where are the papers?

Where we can configure logging properties?

    DB is Oracle 11 g.

Documentation (Guide of the Java developer, 11 g Release 2 (11.2), E10588-04) says nothing about the record.

    Thank you...

    Roger

    Hi, Roger:
The recorded information come to the .trc file for the Oracle (shared or dedicated) server process.
.trc files are the Oracle Diagnostics directory, for example:
    $ORACLE_BASE/diag/rdbms / $ORACLE_SID / $ORACLE_SID/trace
To configure log file properties read this blog entry:
    http://marceloochoa.blogspot.com/2007/11/getting-logging-entering-exiting-and.html
    Best regards, Marcelo.

  • Transformation of the axes of the field

    Hi all

I'm plotting data in Weibull and try to use the original Weibull chart axes.  In a Weibull plot, the percentage still functional items at any given time t, or of reliability r (t), is traced from that time.  Here's the problem: the x-axis are the natural logarithm of time, while the y-axis is (prepare) the natural logarithm of the natural log of the inverse of the reliability of the element at a given time, i.e. ln (ln (1/R (t))).  I understand how to get a log axis, but it's clearly not sufficient for the value axis.  Is there any LabVIEW feature that allows the transformation of the axis, or do I just simply do the transformation on the data itself, rather than the scale of the axis?  (We are doing it, but it removes sensible reading that provide transformations).

    Thanks for any advice,

    Nathan

For the more general case, you will have to do it all yourself using a 2D photo indicator.

(Open finder example and look at the example of the "XY Multiplit Graph" for some ideas).

    Thank you.

    Best regards.

    Try following:

    1)

    Workflow policies enabled

    Workflow policies enabled

    TRUE

This property determines if the approval workflow is enabled or disabled in Oracle Identity Manager. Approval workflow is used to determine if the operation requires approval or not, and if approval is required, then what workflow must be invoked.

If the value of this property is TRUE, the approval workflow is enabled.

If the value of this property is FALSE, the approval workflow is deactivated.

For detailed information about the approval workflow, see Chapter 4, "Managing workflows".

    (2) if the above does not fix, take a look at the thread below:

    Kind regards

    Sanket

    Hi Sanket,

This problem generally arises because corrupt file system-jazn-"Data.xml".

If having a backup where you can restore it and then test it, I think it will work.

    Thank you

    Laurent,

You can draw more precisely by using:

    ALTER session set events "6550 trace name errorstack level 1";

    and,

    ALTER session set events ' trace name errorstack off 6550;

    Please guide...

    Kind regards

    Ben Milot

I don't know why it happened this way!

I've reconfigured the CIM, this time, use ojdbc6.jar instead of ojdbc14.jar is as a pilot for the connectivity of DB with CIM.

Reconfigured and re-deployed application and ear

Voila! has worked for me. The error disappeared.

    Kind regards

    Ben Milot
