• Link goes to the wrong page

  So as of recent, one of the links I have in my footer is now directing to the incorrect page. It goes to a page on the version businesscatalyst of the site.

  There is absolutely no connection with the site of BC, I Redid the link and when I have this link, I select the page directly in the same file and I also tried the direct url and nothing seems to work. It seems to do it through the home page.

  The site is landpotential.org and the link that leads to the wrong page is the one who said 'OUR PARTNERS' at the foot of page and it goes to everything instead.

  I checked the master page, the actual index page and there seems to be nothing to do.

  There are two conflicting hypertext links there. The link on the text block moves to the page on your site. On the 'OUR PARTNERS' text range within the text the link points to a page on Business Catalyst. Select the text using the text tool and remove only hyperlink and the hyperlink rest will be whatever you want.

  I was check the compatibility of my site. So I opened http://www.sethermal.com. It was fine until I flew over a link. Firefox has added the site and broke the link.

  For example.
  I entered the address bar www.sethermal.com . The site came fine.
  I hover over the 'Site Map' link on my page. Link is http://www.sethermal.com/pages/site-map.html
  Before clicking on the link, I looked down and Firefox shows www.sethermal.com/-www.sethermal.com\pages\site-map.html
  When I click on the link of course I 404 page not found

  Why is this happening?

  These links have a backslash instead of a slash.
  Firefox is not so forgiving as other browsers and treats a backslash as a character valid and thus prefixes links with the URL of the page.

• closing of pdf link farm throughout the site

  I hope someone can help. I have tried all the usual design sites but can't seem to get an index of weather I need is possible. I'm new to web design, but have written a site that has a page of the newsletter. When the client has finished reading the pdf file and close - the site closes. How can I make sure that they go back to the newsletter page when they close the pdf. I put the target in the property of links for empty thought bar target that since its opening in a new window when closed users this window they would be back on the page main newsletter.   Make PDF open in a new browser window or tab like this:

  target = "_blank"> link to PDF

  ADDED: When the visitor closed the window PDF, the page of the main site is open in the other browser tab/window.   You have to trust that people know how to use their browsers.

• All the sites I visit via Firefox are distorted. Including your homesite. I had to use IE to send this message.

  Earlier today, Monday, I started having problems with FireFox, which I use mainly. What happened is that all the sites, I visited, from about 6:00 pm CST, has been distorted visually and structurally. Including the other sections of your site and your homepage.

  It seems as if someone had been altering your browser encoding regarding the ability to correctly display web pages. Your site, in particular, has been stripped of images, videos or staining. Just a page of text skeleton leaking showed. I had to open IE 8 to reach your site to send this message because I couldn't do it in Firefox.

  I checked the fact that he is not a RAM problem. In addition, I did 2 United Nations/resettlement of Firefox, which did not help.

  I like FireFox is why I felt I should wear this to your attention. I will continue to use IE for now and keep checking back with FireFox hoping that the problem has been identified and corrected.

• XE database homepage link goes to the homepage APEX after patch 3.2

  Hi - I had Oracle XE on Win XP, everything is OK.
  
  Take the database home page link took me to http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/f? p = 4550: etc etc, BUT I was taken to the login page of XE we use for system administration - everything is good so far.
  
  Then, I upgraded (successfully) the installed APEX (V2.1) that comes with XE to the new version V3.2.
  
  All right, BUT the url above leads me to the APEX login page and I can't seem to the administration of the XE.

• Mobile hyperlink goes to the site office

  I have a desktop version, Tablet and phone.

  On the version of the phone, the logo is on the master page (thus appears on all pages) is configured for the hyperlink to the home page (phone version) but when you click on it it POPs to the office site that seems wrong.

  The only way to return to the mobile version is closing pages and quit safari and reopen it.

  How to set up FTP access to the files of netgear NAS storage?

  I need to go to the actions, choose press rack button and set permissions for FTP access.

  After that, it works fine.
